 Tired eyes looked over the jungle area, Ayoka had been up all night trying to locate a place to sleep but everytime she had tried to do just that something would either had been occupied or she was chased off by other predators. Just when she was about to loose hope about finding a nice and comfortable place to close her eyes... she spotted a hidden whole just large enough to fit a male lion.
Being cautious this time, she sensed the air to see if it was occupied. Sighing the only sent that lingered was a female lion that had been gone for a while be the smell of things. Prowling closer Ayoka, at this point would have collasped in the hidden home regardless, moved in and laid down to rest. Before she knew it, her eyes had shut and she fell asleep.

 A loud sneeze blasted out into the silence. " Oh, these rotten allergies!" Myrina grumbled in her throaty female voice. There were many that told her that her voice was calming and in some male cases sexy. " Of course I had to be the only one in the family to have sneezing fits everytime I pass these fields!" Sighing to herself as she talked aloud while walking in the fields of tall grass. " To not beable to hunt! Huh, I can't help it that everytime we going hunting with the pride I let the prey know we are attacking."
Myrina spoke to no one but herself. No she wasn't crazy but sometimes a girl needed to let out a little steam and justify herself! Even when no one would listen. Her tail moved back and forth in jerky movements that associated to her current mood.

A faint sound awoke Ayoka from her exhausted slumber, made her freeze. It sounded like it was heading her way... the tone was almost male, deep but had a feminine quality to it. There was no response but to the faint conversation to the left, so Ayoka assumed the... sniffing the air lightly she found out her visitor was a lioness. Her neck furs bristled a bit, for she didn't know what to expect from this unknown female.
Ayoka debated wheither or not to growl to let the other know to back off, this was her current place of rest. Still once more, she listened not daring to breath. The other voice had stopped talking and the forest seemed to have gone silent as well.

Myrina froze in mid-rant just outside the long grass, a fierce growl came from the left near a large oak tree. Or what Myrina assumed was coming from the tree until she crepted closer. Some may call it stupidly-brave but Myrina's philosophy was 'you have nothing to fear but fear itself'.
Purple eyes narrowing just a bit as she took in the sent of leopardess and... her own sent. Looking a bit closer Myrina realized that she had walked her way to her old camping grounds. A place she had often gone to as a teen to get away from her sometimes over bearing family. Clearing her throat huskily she called out, " What are you doin' inside my home leopard?"

Ayoka was actually surprised that the other had questioned her instead of running away. Most rather stuck around when she growled or threatened, which was rare. But lack of sleep or interrupted sleep tended to bring out the worst in her. Then the others words registered. " Your home?" Ayoka blinked as it hit her, the sent she had smelled early had been lion. " There's no need for rudeness Leopard!" Not knowing if the other was itching for a fight or just conversing.
Deciding it was time to come out of her little hide away resting area, Ayoka slowly and quietly made her way out. She spotted the female right away, her light brown fur with an almost minty-green in her underbelly as well as some markings. " Hello," Ayoka sat and curled her tail around her paws. She looked defenseless but in all actuality she was ready to pounce if need be. " I am very sorry to have inhabited your home..." She looked at the other in suspicison, as the sent of the other had almost faded away from inside. " You see, I was at the end of my rope trying to find somewhere to rest. "

Frowning a little at the words being said to her and then realizing how rude her question had been to begin with, it wasn't that difficult to see know the response she'd get back. " Naw, you don't have to apologize. I didn't mean to come off so rough... just reflex, I don't know you... you don't know me. Sleep eh? Aw thats rough, you must have been traveling for quite a while. Leopards usually avoid this area, just us lions and lioness'." Prowling closer Myrina finally came to a stop close enough to the other female and sat down as well, though not as gracefully. " My name is Myrina, you?" She tilted her head curious about what the answer would be, the other female looked more feminine and tropical. So Myrina wondered if it would be light and musical.

" Nice to meet you Myrina. That is a pretty name you have there. Mine is Ayoka, according to my mother is means 'one who causes joy'." Ayoka smiled at the thought of her mother and then frowned at how far away she currently was away from her family. ' Huh, I guess I must have been wandering farther than I thought I did.' Ayoka thought to herself as she relaxed her seek-lightly muscled body. " I will leave if that is what you wish?"
A quiet growling noise interrupted what she was about to say next. A dull red color spread across her cheeks in embarassment and she chuckled. "Sorry, it has been a while since I last ate anything."

" Ah, that's a nice meaning. My father named me, I was told it means 'swift' so I think it suits me. I do like to run and I've been told I was the fastest in the pride." Twitching her tail back and forth with boredom Myrina listened as the Ayoka continued to talk. " No, you don't have to leave, you're alright. I like ya-er as a friend I mean."
Myrina's ear perked up as she heard Ayoka's stomach. " Ah, guess someones hungry." She laughed before continuing. " I know the best spot to hunt us some zebra or gazelles, whatever you prefer. I'm not to picky as long as I eat something you know?" Using her head to point in the direction they had to travel Myrina stood and started walking the dirt path. A few seconds later Ayoka seemed to glide beside her.

Ayoka nodded and blushed lightly, " Yes I am the same way as long as I have food in my belly that is all that matters." She smiled and laughed in delight. "I too like you as a friend Myrina!" Standing up she followed along with Myrina listening to her talk about anything and everything. Her family, her home, her dreams, and her hopes for a family in the future.
Ayoka's ear twitched as a sound echoed in the distance. "I believe we are very near to the hunting grounds. Little feet are about." She tilted her head. "Rabbit by the sounds of it, if I am correct which I believe I am."

Nodding and listening, she realized that Ayoka would make a good hunting partner if she ever decided to stick around the rogue lands. "Rabbit you say. Hmmm I haven't had that in such a long time." She whispered and hunkered down in to hunting position. Myrina looked over and they silently communicated the game plan. Serious face meet serious face before they broke off into formation. Ayoka thumped her tail twice and on the third thump they both sprung up and dashed onward to chase their prey. It took mer minutes before they both brought down their own supper. Trotting with her tail held high Myrina purred out her victory before tearing and eating.
"That hit the stop." Myrina licked her lips and began to clean herself off. "The night is comin' should be here soon. You have a place to stay for the night?" She watched the female leopard nod her head. "Oh... I guess this is goodbye then." Myrina's ears dropped for a moment before perking up at her companions words. "Yes, you are right. Let us not say goodbye but see you in future days." Smiling they gave each a mini-farewell before going their separate ways to sleep for the night.
