The Goddess flicked her tail behind her as she settled down on top of a rock not that far from the watering hole. She was enjoying the nice wind that was blowing around and was taking a small break from the others she was living with at the moment. Yes she really enjoyed The time that she spent with the others however every now and again it was nice to spend some time enjoying the area around her, she couldn't see it however she knew she wanted to enjoy the nice weather for a little while, she didn't mind that at the moment she didn't have any company but at the same time she wouldn't mind for some. But for now her goal was to enjoy the air today and maybe get a nap in the sun, she wasn't sure yet.

It had been pure luck... Or had it? That a baboon had awakened the sleeping albino. With the sun up, it was hard or her to see, though not impossible, through the tears as the light hurt her eyes. And then the baboon had come back and... Well, she was likely a strange sight, wearing a sort of hood made from some dead badger. It covered her eyes, at least, and now she was enjoying the world of light for the first time.
So it was a strange sight for her to see... A lion with wings? Or was it a leopard with wings? It was very large... When she got closer, she realized that it - No, she - looked more lion than leopard. With wings... Was this a hybrid? Something she'd only heard of, things that were bad and taboo back home. "Hello, strange... Lion... Leopard... I'm not sure what you are, I'm sorry.." Well, she hoped she was friendly, at least!

Abla lifted her head at the sound of another lion coming her way. A smile grew on her face, she could smell the other creature yet she wasn't exactly sure of where she was. She lifted her paw moving her hair out of her eyes. She smiled as the other lioness asked her if she was a leopard, she wasn't surprised of that, she could be confused as one becaue of her tail, she didn't blame the lioness at all. "I am a Goddess." She pointed out simply, the smile was on her face, she was welcoming and happy.
"It is very nice to see another aruond here." She then introduced herself, "My name is Abla, I am the Goddess of Hardships, it is nice to meet you." she then paused before deciding a good question she needed to ask. "Where are you? If you don't mind me asking, I'm blind." She chuckled quietly.

A goddess... "Ah, like Mama Asali!" Her father had told her that, once, some time ago, their leader had been a lioness by the name of Asali'jua. Asali had died, or it seemed, and her son had taken the throne, and dark times followed... And then Asali revealed herself as a goddess. It led Zeru to believe that Mama Asali had been a goddess all along, hiding her identity. "Blind... I guess that's a hardship in itself, isn't it?" She smiled, despite the knowledge that the goddess couldn't see it. "I'm albino... I'm usually awake at night, but a baboon woke me up and made me a hood from a badger's skin... So... It's easier to see in the day with it... But my eyes are still hurt by it."

Abla paused and smiled nodding to the lioness. "I've heard of that Goddess, I haven't heard of her yet though." She laughed slightly and then nodded again. "I heard a lot like her, I don't know much about her, I'm still kind of new here to a point." She giggled and then nodded again a grin was on her face, she was glad to see the other some what knew what Gods and Goddesses were, some of them didn't know at all. She shifted some making herself comfortable before pulling her wings against her.
"That sounds pretty cool that he brought that to you." She laughed some with a friendly smile was still on her face. "that sounds very useful, I'm glad that you can come around and see the area during the day!" She nodded at the idea, she knew for a fact that some times she wished she could wander around like a regualr lion but at the same time she was okay with it. She was used to it.

"It IS useful... There's so many colors during the day, and everything's so vibrant!" It had surprised her at first. Used to the muted blue and black hues of the night, Zeru wasn't used to the fiery golds and vibrant greens of the daylight. Everything had much more color than she'd believed, and it was breathtaking. She still preferred the night, though. "What's it like being a goddess...?"

Abla smiled brightly at the lioness, she was glad to see that the younger lioness was starting to come over hardships in her own way, even if it was something pretty simple, it made Abla pretty happy. Seeing others manage to do things like that was exciting and different that was for sure. She was glad that this little lioness was able to see. "Ah, that does sound pretty amazing." She said simply, she didn't know what all of these colors looked like but she knew that she could figure out that it must had looked nice.
She was thrown off by the young lioness's question. It was surprising to her, that was for sure. she wasn't too sure of what to tell the lioness. "Well..." She thought for a moment before chuckling quietly to herself. "It's interesting and some times nice." She explained with the smile still soft on her face. "I really enjoy it at times, and at other times it's a lot to put up with." She laughed again before nodding to her. "It's nice though, I enjoy it. I don't see how different is though." She laughed again with a nod before speaking once more. "It mean. I am used to being a Goddess that oculd be why but i don't see much wrong with or different from everyone else."

Zeru listened to the goddess' words, nodding. "I can only imagine what it's like... I'm gonna die eventually... Mortality does that... But a god or goddess... They live forever..." She was morose for a moment, recognizing her mortality against the immortality of a deity, before smiling. "But I'm okay with that, not everybody's meant to live forever... Maybe mortals get rebirth to look forward to."

Abla chuckled quietly before moving a paw and moving her hair off of her face. Yes it was true she couldn't see and her hair being in her face didn't matter, however on the other hand her large amount of hair was heavy after a while and she made sure to move it. "Thats a interesting outlook on life." She chuckled slightly sharing her head before looking in the direction of the small lioness before speaking again. "Remember you have still a bit of life to live, you should be happy, it's very nice to be alive." She giggled some before flicking her hair ouf of her eyes once again.
"It isn't always as nice as it sounds." She told the lioness, she was pretty firm with her words, she was serious about that. "Especially if you make friends who are mortals..." she paused before shaking her head quietly she knew a few times where she were friends with mortals and they had died but she hadn't itw as hard at times.

She nodded, smiling a bit. After a moment, she remembered... The goddess wouldn't see her smile. "Oh, I have a lot of life ahead of me... I don't plan on dying any time soon." She planned on a long life, one full of... Well, her Name Quest would be full of adventure, at least. She wanted to find her brothers and sisters that had gone with her mother, for one. And her mother... She also wanted to find other reaches of the land, to find out what was beyond the southern mountains. It was a long journey that she wanted to take while out and about.

Abla nodded to the lioness, making sure to note what she was saying. She was glad to head that the younger lioness still had things in her mind. She picked up motions like nodding a while ago from advice from her brother she said that it helped others understand her feelings and what she was thinking. She wasn't too sure of what it mean but she was hoping the other lioness understood. She looked in the direction of the lioness and nodded. "That is some I really like to hear," She chuckled again as she nodded before speaking again. "You have a lot to do and thats very good."

"I think I'll head south from here, see what's down that way... The mountains have always intrigued me, as the sun illuminated the east end at sunrise before I went to bed as a cub... And the west end as the sun was setting when I got up..." She let out a pleasant sigh, then smiled at the goddess. "In fact... I should get going... I need to find somewhere I can sleep.. Being unaccustomed to being out in the daylight... I'm rather tired." She bowed, the hood rustling a bit as she moved. "Have a nice day, ma'am!" With a pleasant flick of her tail, she turned and padded off, eyes on the lookout for somewhere she could sleep.

Abla smiled and then looked at the lioness then motioned her paw toward her. A smile was still on her face. "the mountains are VERY beautiful, so I heard, I know for a fact that it smells wonderful and feels wonderful too." She nodded once again, she had her brother describe what the scenery looked like, she loved it so much and it made her very happy. She could dream up an idea of what things might look like but she didn't exactly understand the colors and things like that. She nodded in the direction of the younger lioness as she started to wander away. "Have a wonferful day!" She laughed some before flicking her hair out of her eyes once again.
