(this is a rp for anyone that is in the shadow clan - think of it as a meet and greet with the new members of the clan. this is during the festival, though not an official thing - think of it as happening inbetween the ceremonies)

Ok, Tabi couldn't help herself. She felt just a little smug that Arlo was going to be living in the same clan as she was. And she was grateful for it, as Tabi...kind of sucked at making friends. It had been a hard transition from being a rogue to being part of a pride, where you had to give to receive. Still, that meant that she'd be able to harass him...in the form of educating him on his new, permanent home. Plus, she was a little interested in seeing some of the new Shadow clan members that she had only caught a glimpse of in the Tree Ceremony.

As ever, Bowe let her nose guide her to her clan's meeting grounds, the sightless red-white lioness walking slowly to take in scents and smells. There were many new scents at the tree ceremony, and she felt it only appropriate to bring her new clanmates an offering of welcome and good will, carefully bringing an antelope, one large piece at a time before shaking, laying to groom herself away from the kill with a kindf smile, and warm eyes for those who saw the moon-eyed lioness as she purred softly.
This. Nothing was more fulfilling than this, family.
"If someone is here, you may have some of the food. It's for everyone."

It was exciting, to say the least, and not only because of the wonderful news he had received at the Tree Ceremony. There was certainly that--nothing could have made the dark lion happier than the fact that Tawi was joining his family's clan--but it was also the promise of all the other new faces he would encounter, all the new souls to meet.
Qaletaqa hurried to the meeting grounds. He wasn't the first, and he was glad to see other members of his clan already there and ready to welcome the new lions with open arms. He smiled a greeting to Tabi and regarded Bowe's kill, feeling warmth spread through him at the obvious willingness of the two lioness to greet their new members.
"Hello, Bowe," Taqa turned to the blind lioness, wishing she could see the grin that had inadvertently crept across his face. "It's a good day, isn't it?"

To say that Arlo was excited about being accepted in the pride was one thing, but to be accepted in the clan he had first introduced to, he couldn’t help but be ecstatic. Obviously the Gods had watched over him in his time of study and deciding he was worthy enough to stay on the lands he had been welcomed into first. What was more, he had a friend there already. Tabi’Nasi. She was the lioness he first met and who had educated him in the ways of the pride and the clans.
Moving closer towards the gathering of the Shadow clan, Arlo’s heart raced. He couldn’t wait to tell Tabi the news, though he was also excited to see and speak to some of the other clan member’s. Perhaps make a few more friends, maybe find someone he could even spar with.
Rolling over the terrain he took in the three standing, awaiting others to join their group. One he could pick out immediately, then a brow lion with green tattoos and a red and white lioness that seemed to have brought a fresh kill with her.
Excited, Arlo rushed to them, stopping close to them all, but leaving enough room for them to breathe and feel comfortable. “I want to thank you all for coming to greet us for the first time. I am Arlo’Reeshin, a new member of the shadow clan. I hope to be of great assistance to the rest of the clan. Please feel free to ask anything of me.” Bowing to the other lions, he moved towards Tabi, unable to keep his excitement in any longer.
“TABI! I made it, thank you so much for your assistance and helping me find my new home in the Ela.”

Hakima had joined the pride at the last festival and it had taken him some time to find himself at home in the pride. He had met others and enjoyed mingling with other clans but he had never really found a friend in his own clan. That of course didn't mean he was unhappy for he was as happy as one could be.
He found the grounds where the clan met easily enough he had been there a few times now though he was surprised by the newcomers. Of course it was obvious the new ones would be arriving he just didn't expect it for some reason.
Hakima nodded a greeting to everyone before he sat down and started washing his paws. He kept glancing around though making sure to remember who was who.

More members to fill the lands.
Eeva Subiani, Leader of the Shadow Clan, stood to watch the newcomers with an inquisitive but critical eye. The Clan was small but strong and, in the way of the Ela'wadiyi, treated all as members of family, whether by blood or not. These outsiders, as of today, would no longer be outsiders, but part of their Clan. They were family.
"Welcome to the Shadow." She spoke, casting her eyes around to see which members of her own family were here. She had no cubs nor a mate of her own, but she had many siblings. Many. many siblings. She spotted Qaletaqa and smiled softly. His green tattoos certainly looked splendid on his chocolate coloured pelt. As to the others, they were not in sight yet. Her father was nowhere around, either. Probably not able to get over his shyness.
"I am Eeva Subiani, it's wonderful to meet all of you."

Tawi had been a bit hesitate to join the festivities of the new clan members meeting the old ones. Just the nerves getting the better of her that's all. It had been so long since she had lived in any type of pride or group that the idea was still overwhelming to the lioness. So when she first arrived in the shadow clan the brown lioness held back a bit, looking over so many unfamiliar faces, it made her muscles twitch as that old desire to just walk away from everything tried to kick in. But Tawi resisted, this was her home now and she would get used to it eventually, besides Taqa was here to help guide her through everything, both the good and bad. With that thought alone Tawi moved closer.
When she spotted Taqa amidst the clan lions she smiled just a bit and moved over to him, nodding her head in greeting to others that she walked by. "I made it." She said quietly to the male and for one of the few times in her life those words were filled with pride and happiness. Today was the start of her new life and Tawi knew she could conquer all as long as Taqa was there to see her through it.

Bowe's ears flicked first to Qale's voice and she smiled, turning her head, sightless eyes facing him, and she smiled.
"HelloQale! I weas afraid I was alone." A gentle chuckle, before the rapidly approaching male made her give a start, jerking to her feet, trying to scent the voice, and ended up moving slightly behind Qale nervously. She was friendly, yes, but so too did sudden noises startle her.

The dark lion smiled, shaking his head at the blind lioness. "Never." He said, meaning it from the bottom of his heart. This here, this was family, as, it seemed, so many of them had also realized, and any of them had but to speak a word for Taqa to give his everything to help them.
He lifted his glance toward Eeva as she spoke, and smiled his widest smile, though he remained standing where he was, acting as an unofficial barrier between Bowe and everything else until she was ready to emerge and face the strange scents and sounds. Like he had said, he would be there to make sure that she needn't face any surprises alone.
His gaze searched the crowd and found the Tawi's familiar form. Pride and absolute joy filled him as the grandeur and finality of today hit him. This was it. This was the day that everything changed. Tawi was here and ready to abandon her nomad's lifestyle; that unseeable barrier between the brown lioness and the world seemed to be crumbling at long last. It was the start of something new, and he couldn't help but wonder at the fact that he would be there to see it.
As Tawi approached, he turned to the red lioness beside him. "Bowe," he said gently, as ever. "I want you to meet a friend of mine." His violet eyes lifted to hold Tawi's gaze until she neared. "Tawi, meet Bowe. Bowe, Tawi." And then, aside, he said to the brown lioness with a smile and a small nod that said everything that needed to be communicated. "You did it."

Bowe smiled, ears pricking as she took in the newcomer's scent and nodded to the lioness.
"It's a pleasure. Welcome to our family." She smiled, glad for newcomers.

Her eyes turned to the other lioness as Taqa introduced her. There was a moment of silent awkwardness before Tawi spoke again. "Uh...thanks." Well that wasn't what she had wanted to say, but she was still trying to adjust to the idea of life in a pride, the concept of being in a family again and bringing her endless walking ways to an end. So many changes all at once, it was a little overwhelming. No that was a lie, it was almost completely overwhelming. Her eyes settled back upon Taqa. His presence calmed her nerves, made her feel more welcome, more like she did belong here. Tawi couldn't help but smile a bit wider now and then tried to hide it, though the corners of her mouth her still turned up in a small smile. "All thanks to you." She whispered to him.
If it had not been for her first chance meeting with Taqa and then their subsequent meetings there after she may have never come to this day and would be who knows where walking away from her problems and from her life.
