Sink your teeth into forever...Ok, I'll start with the annoying one since it's not that big:
Well.... for a while my big sister has been lying to me about a "friend" that she met online.... she says it's some girl named Jessica that has a lot on common with her. i believed her for a while.... until she said something that gave me an idea it was all a lie... then i did some snooping around.... and i found out more proof it's all fake.. ._. oh, and on her profile there's pictures of her.... i found one of the pictures on google images... >_< I never told her i found out... and i don't really wanna.... cause some of her fake stories are funny... O_o but now it's kinda gotten really far.......... now she's telling me that "Jessica" is going to Jacksonville, Florida which is where my 2 favorite celebrities are... so i'm trying to get more proof with it... i told her to tell her "Jessica" to take pictures if she meets them...... O.o i bet there's gonna be an excuse like "i forgot my camera" or some shiit like that... >_< anyway, it's just getting annoying... but i don't know what to tell her or if i should just keep going along with it...
And now the major problem...
My dad has been smoking since he was a teen... he's tried 3 times to quit... and he came so close but he gave up... now it's gotten to a point where i'm starting to fear for his life.... Dx i've told him to quit many times... and i know it's hard... all addictions are hard to get over.... but he really doesn't even try! I'm afraid he won't be alive for when/if i get married... see his grandchildren... (i know i'm gonna have kids O.o) or anything else i want him to be here for... Dx I'm scared that one night he'll die in his sleep... i don't know what i would do if i lost him... especially without saying goodbye... just thinking about it makes me wanna bawl.... please help me! Dx ...Sunlight burns, children surrender.

So you think your sister has an imaginary friend online? or what? what is the proof that it is fake?
My friend used to always talk about this guy in Romania that she talked to and she alway had these crazy stories about him and I kept telling her that i thought she was lying so she gave me his email and I started talking to him. I still don't believe he is real (she could have made up a new email and it was her talking to me) but after a while I just didn't care and she stopped talking about him so whatever.
As for you major problem, have you talked to you dad about it? I know you told him to quit a lot but have you actually sat him down and told him your fears about it? Normally when someone's child tells them they are afraid for them, they take it seriously.

Well.. one time she was in a chat room with me and the other "jessica" together, and we were playing videos... and she said there was echoing... (which only happens if there is 2 tabs with 2 accounts in one room) and later once we got off the site, she told me she figured out why... and she told me "Oh, i was gonna see something in another tab, but it just didn't show up." and i know for a fact that if the avatar doesn't show up, then the room will automatically tell you someone came into the room.. and it never did... that started my suspicion... then she started telling me about these stupid stories that are just ridiculous. -_-
I never really sat down with him and talked about it... but he said we were supposed to go on a father daughter thing some time soon hopefully.... i'll talk to him about it then.....

My sister was talking to some guy that lived over in England. For a while I didn't believe her that he was real, but then he added me on Facebook, so now I know that he's real because he talks to me when my sister isn't even online! So it was kinda weird that I though he didn't exist...
Both of my parents smoke, so I'm really scared for both of them. sad Some people, no matter how hard they try, they just can't quit. That's how it is with my dad and my mom. They've both tried really hard to quit, but they just can't. It's too addicting. I'm sorry about your dad. I know what you're going through, but don't give up on your daddy! Talk with him and your mom.

It sounds like your sister has a made up persona online and is pretending to be a different person. As long as she isn't doing anything stupid you shouldn't worry about it and just leave her alone.

Why exactly does it matter? o.O; She's gotten extremely annoying with it... and, she's always telling me to be myself, not fake anything, be honest... and i'm kinda pissed that now she's lying to me about something on the internet. :/ And she's making up sorta extreme lies... i just really hate it -_-

1. she claimed to be going to Jacksonville, Florida to meet my favorite band to "make me jealous"
2. she claimed to see some singer named Matt Tuck (my sister's favorite singer) while she "was away" in London
and other extremely annoying things. -.-

Shes not necessarily lying...
Like one time I told something to my friends and well it was just something crazy that happened to me and I originally didn't want to tell anyone but a couple of months later I told and one of my "friends" didn't believe me because she said I was too much of a blabbermouth to keep it to myself and she kept pestering me about everything and well...
Basically she thought I was making up some person and he actually talked to her on chat and she believed it was me because we had the same "writing style"...

You should always believe [[I've become Peter Pan -.-]] the people closest to you if you don't wanna lose them...
Maybe she really is real or maybe your sister has a reason behind making up this person...

I only snooped around to see if i was right about it being fake. and if it wasn't my business, why would she tell me about her?
I am not saying the issue as a whole, I am saying to snoop. SO she told you she 'had a friend; online. Does that mean that it was your business to snoop around and just expose her for a liar. If she was a compulsive liar, then she can't really help it Compulsive lying is nothing to just keep exposing people. If she is one, maybe it would be better to jsut go along with it to support her... But idk, I don't know you or your sister.

and other extremely annoying things. -.- Well my friend did the same thing. She said that her friend from Romania was a vampire and had a lotus (a really expensive car) and was only 18. There was a lot of crazy stuff she said and I just didn't care. Everytime she said something about him I was like "oh your imaginary friend?" After a while she stopped talking about him.

People are hypocrites. 2. If someone is so pathetic that they need to make up imaginary friends online, it's probably best not to push them over the suicidal edge. 3. If it bothers you so much just ignore it. Have you ever heard the saying "The more you hate it the stronger it becomes"? 4. People are hypocrites.
