I've been wondering how this ventrillo thing works. Since my guild requires me to have it I want to get it as early as a i can. So which do i download from the website and where do i get the mic for it? ANd what is it called and how do I use it? Because right now, im completley confused. crying

Your guild should provide you with the stepup information.. the port number and IP address. -nod-
It's fairly easy to use. And there are instructions, if you get lost. About the mic though.. just one from the store? I'm borrowing my friend's for now..

Local Walmarts, Staples, and 'all-around' stores in general should have them. Computer stores or places with things for computers would be your best bet.

Some of them look like that. I have a headset, costed me ~7 euros.

In case you still need help (Or for anyone)
Basiclly, download Vent off the site, and connect to your guild's server. They should provide you with info somewhere. Then, go through your settings and pick a button you don't use alot for a click-to-talk button. For me, i use the scroll button on the mouse. Its an easy button to hit to talk.
Also, a mic should look something like This

I bought my mic at best buy for $20 my BF bought a nice one for $40.
