MuCephei paced anxiously back and forth, she was actually on the roof of their favorite coffee corner, but she half wished she were inside. She didn't want to risk going to uniform though after sitting inside, and the call she wanted to make needed it as well.
So why was she so nervous?

She summoned her senshi-cell and took a deep breath before searching her contact list and finding who she was looking for.

"Hi!...Eve?...er... Flora?"

Attending DCU was more tiring than Eve liked, although she still managed to grit her teeth and tell herself to sternly to go out for patrols. Besides, eliminating youma did help to take the stress off her sometimes, especially when she felt vindicative enough to give them a swift kick while they were distracted by the pollen cloud. Of course, sometimes it hurt her more than it hurt them, but the pain was something she had gotten used to.

Or so she tried to tell herself.

It was somewhat startling then, when she suddenly heard a jingle, which seemed to sound in the far off distance, like it was in the back of her head. The next thing she knew, her senshi phone appeared in her hand, and blinked up at her. As she flipped it open and stared, the screen revealed the caller to be MuCephei at the screen. "Mu!" She answered, sounding surprised, yet pleased. "What's up?"

"HI!" came the relived voice of her team mate, "I... um... have you, well maybe you haven't but...theirs this...thing, the... the outer space thing." She said fumbling over the words afraid to sound like she had lost her mind completely.
Worse, it couldn't sound like the best day...err... night trip to go to the home world of the Senshi of BLOOD, even on a good day that sounded like an invitation to Dracula's castle at dinner time.
"I was wondering, could you... I'm on top of 'the diner' if you know what I mean, I... I really wanted someone to go with me, if you have any idea what I'm talking about and if you don't I'll explain everything I just have to know I'm not insane and that it really happened."
She rushed the words out and then smoothed a hand over her skirts as though pressing out any rumples or folds might sooth the flutter in her chest.

"Outer space?" As if on cue, her eyes drifted up to stare at the dark depths of the sky. Something stirred in her, a brief familiarity, when she once looked out of a window and all she could see was darkness surrounding them, with only a few twinkles here and there. It was as if it had been in a dream, or had it been in that dream when she had been standing opposite her past self? It hurt to try to think, and she shook her head, trying to clear the fogginess away.

What Mu said sounded strange, although she sounded like she desperately needed company. And Flora couldn't say no to a teammate, especially one that seemed to be stuck in a dilemma. At the very least, it wouldn't hurt to go over and check. "I'll be there in a few." She confirmed.

Luckily, she was in the vicinity, and didn't have to hop too many rooftops. When she landed on the roof of Shufflepuck, she tilted her head in puzzlement. "So.... where are you going?"

"Would...you believe outer space?" She answered twisting the toe of one shoe into the grit that covered the roof. "To... this little... I don't know, moon or something from which you can see the star MuCephei... it's... I went there before, please don't think I'm insane, I saw... I don't know it was unfamiliar but I knew it, I saw this... and there were..."
she waved her hands as though by gesturing she could somehow explain what she had seen, and where she had been without sounding as though she had been drinking some cult Kool-aide.

As much as it made sense since her teammate had mentioned outer space in their phone conversation, it also didn't. "Like astronauts? Or... flying?" It was a little hard to wrap her mind around that; really, just when she had thought she was used to strange things happening, she had to be thrown yet another curve ball. But come to think of it, she had heard the Zodiacs mention something about space before...

"Well," She started out carefully. "I think I recall Chronos or the Zodiacs, or even Zue, can't remember exactly who, talk about that they once resided in space, so uh, maybe the other senshi did too?" Like how Chibimoon came from the Moon Kingdom, which was on the moon, the bright orb in the sky orbiting Earth. How strange it was to think that despite scientific efforts, they had never dreamed that life in space would be possible. Then again, no one could have ever thought magical fighters existed...

"I believe you." Flora reassured MuCephei with a smile. How could she ever doubt one of her teammates? "It's just... wow. Mind-blowing."

MuCephei was so relieved she almost had to sit down for a moment. "Oh god..I was so afraid you would think I was crazy, I thought it was crazy till I was -there- I mean...THERE." She waved one opera-gloved hand skyward in amazement.
"Please... please, will you come with me? You don't mind do you? I swear it's not Dacula's Castle! I know its...well it..." she stopped and brushed her hands over her skirt again taking a deep breath. "I... Its just so.. I have to show someone. You have always been one of our most level headed, please?"
She asked and pulled out her cell phone, hopeful that the answer was yes.
"Say yes... I think I can make this work..."

"A few years ago, we would have thought it was crazy if someone told us we would one day be magical superheroes." Flora said wryly, gazing up at the sky once again as MuCephei gestured upwards. But did this technically made them alien? At least... more alien than they thought they were? It was incredibly unnerving.

"I will-- wait, does that mean we can breathe in space?" She had blurted that out without thinking, and automatically chastised herself. "Sorry, it's just, wow, maybe we are alien after all. I mean, the talking cats probably are aliens from outer space too." In their world, magic explained everything crazy. Still... "How are we going to get there?"

Mucephei waved her cell phone with a small flush of scarlet over her cheeks, as improbable as it was it was still their ticket there.
"I...I'm not sure about space but where I went seemed to have air. You use your cell and, you focus on... well its the sound of your planet, I never realized I was hearing it before, but once I did it was just... it was amazing." she finished quietly.
"Like listening to the heartbeat of a loved one... I'm sure you can hear your world too!" She added with a nervous enthusiasm and then offered her hand.

"I... I don't know if we're aliens or not, maybe we used to be, but we were born here right? I mean you at least have hospital pictures don't you?" She offered with a smile. "Alien hearts, can't be that much worse than thinking your re-incarnated from cleopatra can it?" She tried to make a joke of it but fell more than a little flat.
"I...we have to touch to do this I think...is that alright with you? I don't want to be too forward."

"My world?" It was a bit of a jolt to Flora as she had been musing over the fact that they could breathe in space and that planets had heartbeats. This meeting certainly had more surprises than she thought there would be. To be fair, she wasn't sure what to expect when she had picked up her fellow teammate's call. "I... uh, I think I probably lived with the Princess. So technically the world she lived in would be mine?" Once again, the image of the older Flora draped in long robes flashed past her head, and she shook the thoughts away.

"Well." She said with a shrug. "Magic explains everything in our world." It was something she liked to fall back on so she wouldn't have to think too hard. Especially about the conflicts between what she experienced as a senshi and what she had grown up learning as science.

"It's alright." Flora assured her with a laugh. "It's not like you're Castor and wouldn't pass up any chance to touch a female inappropriately."

Mu laughed, a familar sweet sound compared to her nervousness.
"Well... that could be, I wonder if you have a world other than that though, did you all come from the same place? We all have the names of...celestial things." She mused aloud though she was unsure.
She did though at last take Flora's hand, gingerly at first and then a stronger more secure grip, She didn't want to loose her friend somewhere on the way.

She took a deep breath and concentrated, listening for that sound that resonated through her from the top of her head to the end of her toes, familiar... the rush of blood in veins, the sound of time passing, the beat of a heart that all mixed in a warm and strange song.

Then there was that sensation, like something hooked her behind the spine and yanked her forward... rushing... and then...

then a familiar stillness, till at last she dared open her eyes.

"I wonder." Flora echoed blankly, mind distant. It certainly was something to think about. Being named after celestial things? She herself had never really assumed anything from their names... thought it had came from mythology, actually. She had never really thought about senshi origins, and realized with a start that she had just accepted things as she slowly integrated herself into the super powered society.

She clutched MuCephi, wide-eyed as they were suddenly pulled... somewhere, away from where they were standing. Away from their planet. Or was Earth really their planet? "Woah." She blurted out, still hanging on to her teammate's hand. "This... this is your world?"

MuCephei nodded looking nervous, "There...are aqueducts...and a garden, these little houses... I haven't explored but the roads all seem to go strait to .." she turned and pointed to the strange and enormous ruins, it was strangely reminiscent of, of all things, a sun dial's centerpiece..
"A garden too, but that's all that's alive here, no animals even." She looked so worried as she turned, reaching a hand to twist it in the black hair that lay over her shoulder.

"...I have to show you...I just do. I don't even understand what I'm seeing when I'm here, but it's so familiar some times, I... I had dreams about what the wells sounded like in each house. They all flow, but, they made this sound when they still worked, it was like a heart beat, I... I keep thinking if I could just remember, I could make them work again." She said softly.

"...And there was this tree, I knew it just to touch it,I don't know why...I just... all I could imagine was it full of red blossoms."
She hadn't even addressed the strange statues she had found, the doors she had not yet opened... there was so much here that felt like a dream that was breaking up like cobwebs in her fingers when she woke.

"Wow." Flora repeated, eyes wide as she took in the scene before them, her grip on MuCephi slowly loosening. "This is just... pretty amazing." She hadn't known what to expect when her friend had said that they were going into space, to her homeworld... but it definitely hadn't been the ruins of a town. There didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary, like space aliens (that was really a ridiculous thought); it seemed almost as though they had just traveled to an abandoned city on Earth.

"A garden." Flora echoed, a jab of pain suddenly coursing through her mind after the words left her lips. A garden in space seemed to prod dimly at her memory, but she couldn't exactly remember what. Trying to think harder only brought more pain, and she shook her head, rubbing her temples with her fingers. "Well, do you know what the wells do?" Everything seemed so fascinating, so strange... this was probably how explorers felt when they stumbled upon abandoned ruins of ancient civilizations.

"Let's see the tree then! Is it... well, still blooming?"

"They... sound like heartbeats..." She said sounding dazed and reminiscent. "They were...the life blood of each house, they fed the towns, and the towns fed...that." She pointed to the distant tumbling spire. "Like...veins..." it was a creepy way to put it perhaps but it felt right.
"I...it wasn't blooming last time I was here, I think, I think it only blooms for a very short time..."

She shook her head as though to clear it of the fragile cobwebs that felt so much like memories. "Let's go see!" She said sounding much brighter, much more normal as she offered a hand and started down the path she knew without knowing would take her where they wished to go. "It's a long walk I'm afraid."
