The one from Hypnotize. I really like that song... But I think I'm the only one who loves it. ;-; Is there something I'm missing? I know a smaller version of that song on Mezmorize... But I still love it. Comments, anyone? :3

I love it too, actually. You're not missing anything, I think... The one on Mezmerize is supposed to be the beginning of everything and the one on Hypnotize is supposed to wrap it all up.

I really like it. It's my 3rd fav. from Hypnotize. The Mezmerize version is great too. I heard Soldier Side-Intro from the String Tribute...my God that thing is awesome...I wish I had it.

I love both versions equally. Soldier's Side is a great way to begin and wrap up two great albums!

Its one of my favorite songs on Hypnotize!
When Mezmerize came out, I was like "Dang, I wish there was a longer version of this (The intro)".
And now there is. biggrin DD

The first time I listened to it and they got to the chorus and started singing "Welcome to the soldier's side, where there's noone here but me"

I love Soldier Side! I combined Mesmerize and Hypnotize on to a disk so I would only have to carry one cd, and I put the intro (from Mesmerize) right before the rest of the song (form Hypnotize) and it sounds so good when you put it together like that! SOAD split it like that so it would be like a bookmark for the two cds.... kind of a beginning and end for the album (for those newbies, Mesmerize/Hypnotize is one album, just split in two).

Man, the song is great! The CD is great. Some people who didn't care for the Intro version loved the Hypnotize one.
