Autumn climbed up the stairs frantically. She'd been running around the city all day, taking pictures and the sun was nearly down. Autumn wanted the perfect pictures of the sun setting along with a few of the lit up city, but she needed to be up high to get them. She was climbing up the fire escape around the back of an old church. It was nearly dark up on the roof, and pretty spooky.
There were a lot of statues and stuff around, and a few that you couldn't even see from the street below. A lot were of gargoyles, but there were a few angels too. It was a little strange to see so many gargoyles on top of a church. Autumn carefully climbed so that she was on the actual roof and brought her camera up to her face. She had to steady herself after this quick motion, and leaned back on part of the church steeple to keep her balance. She began to take pictures of the sun, knowing that she wouldn't have more than a few minutes before it set.

As the sun set, the stone broke off from around Reigh's skin and he stretched, giving a loud yawn, that to anyone else, might have sounded a bit like a growl or roar. Immediately, he heard a scream, followed by a collection of clicks. What the hell could that be?
He quickly reacted and jumped to where the sound came from. A girl was in midair, obviously having fallen, clutching her camera and taking the pictures as she fell. Wow... what a way to go, but it wouldn't be her way to go if Reigh had anything to do about it. He quickly swooped down, letting his wings catch the air and scooped her up. It took him a moment to catch a current heading up, but when he did, he landed back on the roof and set the girl down and began trying to push her long blonde hair out of his face.

Autumn had just finished taking pictures of what had to be the most perfect sunset and had begun to take pictures of the illuminated city. That's when she heard it. A roar of some kind, and it sounded close. Autumn whipped her head around to try to discover the source of the noise when she felt herself losing her balance. Try as she might, she couldn't get it back and began to fall off the ledge.
She screamed as she flew through the air, but continued clicking her shutter, as if capturing the moment would do any good. She was sure that she was about to hit the ground. This was the end. She was at least four stories up, there was no way she'd survive and if she did, she'd be a vegetable.
All of the sudden, she felt arms wrapped around her and she was filled with a sense of relief. Somehow, someone had caught her. But... why were they still moving? She opened her eyes, as she'd shut them just before she was sure she'd meet her end, and screamed again. There was a monster holding her! There was no other world for it. At the moment she decided to scream, they landed and her feet were back on solid ground, well, roof. Autumn jumped away from the creature and turned back, getting herself in a defensive stance. "W-what are you?" she asked, snapping a couple more pictures, not believing her eyes. After all that, she hadn't lost her camera, talk about a lucky break.

════════════════════════════════════All of the sudden, the strange girl's hair was gone and Reigh was shaking his head, trying to get his ears to start working again. She had screamed so loudly. What was her problem anyway? She asked what he was. Well... a who would have been nice, but what worked. Reigh opened his mouth to answer and was met with a blinding flash and fell back a few steps and began blinking frantically, trying to see again. He wasn't exactly used to really bright lights, especially directed right at him.
"What was that for?!" he growled, rubbing at his eyes, trying to ease away the bright spots still blocking his vision.

Autumn just looked at this strange creature and blinked. What was what for? Oh, he was blinking. The bright light, right? "Sorry about that." Autumn said and turned off the flash, but didn't put the camera away. You never knew when you'd be able to find the perfect shot. This creature... well... he kinda looked like a guy... He didn't seem to mean her any harm. In fact, he'd kinda saved her... well, he had. Autumn got a little closer and began walking around him, observing him. "So, what are you? she asked again.
