Rhiloss - Manda
Now for once, Nagendra hadn't snuck off. Rather, he was being lead down the way by his guardian, Kellie gently leading the boy by the hand. The draconic scent was obviously irritated, his tail flicking back and forth, horns carefully curving from his hair, which had been meticulously styled about it. Augh...god dammit. She was so irritating! So ******** irritating. "Calm down 'Gen." He growled softly /******** off, Kit.../
Rhiloss was just out ... strolling about, the teen having been bored back at home. Glancing up, he spotted a familiar figure and smiled faintly. -That- kid... well, looked like he'd cleaned up a bit...
'Gen noticed Rhiloss as well, eyes sparkling eagerly. Grinning, he tried to pull away from Kellie, though her grip was like a vice. Sighing softly, he settled for, "Hey! It's my friend Rhiloss!!" The Scarred guardian glanced towards Rhil with her one good eye, raising a brow."Friend of yours, 'Gen?" "You could say that."
Rhiloss snorted softly at that. "Yea definitely 'could' say that... though I dunno if you want to." He smirked faintly. "Does she know you tried t'steal s**t that time?"
A frown slowly pulled at the corner of Kellie's mouth, revealing to Rhiloss JUST how much the Guardian actually knew. ".....Steal? I beg pardon, Nagendra Nieve....STEAL?" Looking over to Rhiloss with burning eyes, the Dragon hissed, "I didn't STEAL IT! The lady GAVE it to me." Kellie rolled her eyes, and looked over with to the other kid, "I'm Kellie Nieve. And you are?"
Rhiloss eyed that hand for just a moment as if it might bite him or something, then reached to take it. "Rhiloss. And actually he pretended to be all pitiful and hungry. And didn't pay for it. TECHNICALLY stealing," he murmured. Clearly he wasn't in any kind of friendly mood at the moment.
Kellie's eyes narrowed, "YOU PRETENDED I DIDN'T FEED YOU AGAIN?!" She demanded, angrily. This had been a trend. The scarred woman was gripping his arm tightly, "Nagendra, I have told you before, that could get me in SO much trouble. God dammit." Nagendra looked at Rhil with a ferocious gaze /I'm so going to kill you./
Rhiloss just smirked faintly at the Scent child, his expression rather icy, all things told. Should've been stealing, and then he wouldn't be in this mess -now- hmmm?
Growling softly, Gen ripped his arm out of Kellie's grip, and charged the other Scent. God DAMMIT. Before he could even sink his claws into the other, Kit had him by the neck. Her pale indigo eyes were furious, "You little shithead....I swear to god, you are the biggest moron I've ever had to deal with..." She sighed softly."Thank you, Rhiloss, for letting me know about this."
"Oh you're quite welcome... though if you'd kept a better eye on him nothing might've happened," the teen practically purred, still smirking. Ooh no, he was making -no- friends today. That much was clear.
Kellie's eyes narrowed, and she spoke icily in return, "Look kid, I don't know who the hell you think you are, but I work hard for what I call my family. 'Gen and I live off what I make in my garage, and I can't help that the little s**t runs off. If you think you can lecture me on 'FAMILY' at your age, you're mistaken." Her voice was a mere hiss, obviously fury.
Oh hooo this was fun! Rather than back off, the pale-haired teen looked rather more like this was the best time he'd had all damn day. "I dunno. Just seems t'me that it shouldn't be all that hard to keep a kid around. There's such things as ooh... locks on doors... and windows... bars...."
Kellie found herself snarling, and practically bristling at the teen's words, "You are a brassy little s**t aren't you. What makes you think you know more about raisin' a kid than me, huh?" She hissed, glaring at him, "I have my guys watching him, while I bust my a** working on cars, and you have the GUTS to tell me that I can't even take care of my own kid?!" Nagendra was staring at Kellie like she was a foreign entity, having never heard his guardian this furious before...
"Never said I knew more," Rhiloss replied with a shrug. "Just some thoughts I was havin'." Geez, she really -was- getting worked up, huh? Even the kid looked surprised. "Get new guys?" he suggested with a raise of brows.
She growled softly, taking a breath, "I work with the best guys in the industry. You know what? You don't want him to steal?" She smirked, and pushed her 'son' forwards, knocking him into Rhiloss, "You get to take care of the little b*****d. I got work to do, kiddo. Have fun though." The wicked woman smirked as she turned on her heel, heading back towards her garage, pleased with herself.
Rhiloss blinked. Then blinked again. Well -that- one he hadn't exactly seen coming. Oh well... could still be fun, right? Maybe. "Uuuh. Well, that was interesting. Bye," he murmured, as he turned and started to walk off. The kid could follow or not, he didn't -really- care right now.
'Gen groaned. Great....This was just HIS day, wasn't it. Running after Rhil, he latched his arm around the other's, and grinned up at him, "Hey. You pissed off Kit, now I'm wandering with you. Hey, you know~ I know what'll get you to hang out with me." Pulling some of his coin from his pocket, he held it under the other's nose, "Let's play, Rhiloss~"
The teen frowned slightly at that, eyeing the coins. "Play what?" he asked, sounding rather bored all told. He was about done with being mean for today, though... wasn't much fun anymore.
The kid smirked, "I dunno. We can play at the park, or just play a game you know. It doesn't matter to me. Kit shoved me off on you, so I'm YOUR responsibility for now~" Green eyes were wicked, and he leaned up to whisper in his ear, "I like playing after all~"
Rhiloss raised a brow slightly at that. "You do hm? If you just wanna play at the park or whatever, though, why flash money around?"
The boy grinned, "'cuz I want you around." The boy's tongue accidentally flicked out on the other's ear, and he purred, "I wanna play with YOU, not some...silly human kids. They get so ANNOYING..." The boy whined darkly.
Eyes rolled at that. "You -do- realize that I'm not exactly a kid, right?" he asked, sticking hands into his pockets. Was that supposed to mean the kid was gonna -pay- him to stick around or something?
He glanced up at him, "So. I won't be a kid much longer. I've had a hard life, okay? I just....I want some friends in case I loose somebody else..." His voice cracked, and he was actually being real, for all of five seconds. After being abandoned by Sati and Faythe....and living homeless a couple of times....well, it changed him, a lot.
Aw hell. Despite all appearances (sometimes) Rhiloss -did- actually have a heart, and the way the other -said- that... it yanked at it. "All right, all right. If you really want to I can hang around with ya," he murmured. "So... pick somethin to do, if you want."
He grinned, "Great! Thanks~. I'd like to go to a cafe! I'll pay for you too!" He giggled eagerly, tail flickering back and forth in delight. "Feel up to it?" He said, giggling happily. He liked this guy, after all. He may have been an a**, but he was fun to play with~
A cafe...? How was that 'playing'? But hey, food was food. "Okay sure, which one?" Rhiloss asked, actually smiling faintly. No one had ever really treated him to lunch or whatever before. Well, if you didn't count going out to eat with the family - which he didn't.
He grinned, and took the other's hand, leading him down the way to a tasty little place, a hole in the wall, that he'd found one of his wanderings, "C'mon Rhiloss. You'll like it a lot." He did, after all.
