The stallion had been traveling for quite a ways now, his powerful legs carrying him through the strange new forest effortlessly. He enjoyed traveling..it never left him bored though it was a little lonely Lijep didn't mind much. A small smile brightened his face when the wind tickled through his short mane, yes it was a great day to explore! However meeting someone that would be even better. A mare..might not be that great but, Lijep didn't mind the idea of another stallion or even a cute little foal. With an excited swish of his tail Lijep paused under a shady tree, resting for a bit. After a good rest he would search to see all the interesting things the vast forest had to offer. "Maybe then I will find someone to explore with..Hmm.." After resting for a few minutes he started to move through the forest his eyes moving here and, there searching for signs of life. There had to be someone or something out here! When he didn't see anyone the stallion snorted and, moved towards a more sunny spot where lovely fragrant flowers grew, a meadow he supposed. The grass there sang out to be munched so he tried to lightly move through it his head bending to start nibbling and, munching the tasty grass.

The thick carpet of springy grass and tiny wildflowers muffled the thud of the mare’s hooves on the ground. The mare, Victoria, had been taking a much needed breather from the demands that being a young queen brought; she enjoyed leaving the herd behind and taking time for herself, as selfish as that was. Having skirted her territory and finally left its boundaries that morning, the young mare was starting to feel the pull of adventure. It perhaps wasn’t the most queenly thing to do, but Victoria secretly loved to strike out on her own, to run through uncharted territories and meet new Soquili. As a matter of fact, as she raised her nose and tested the air, she caught the scent of another nearby… Oh, and some scrumptious smelling flowers. Pricking her ears curiously, Victoria picked up her pace and trotted forward into the meadow. As she broke the tree line, she spotted the stranger and smiled to herself before calling out, so as not to startle the stallion, “Hello there!”((Since Victoria hasn't been re-certed, here is the co-ownership agreement. In case anyone was concerned. ^__^ ))

Lijep had been rather content eating and, grazing along but, then a voice made his ears twitch and, head pop up. It didn't sound dangerous and sure enough it was only a pink mare, Lijep rarely worried but, with his head down it wasn't the best way to watch for danger. Smiling gently he looekd the other over then bowed his head in a more formal greeting. "Hello miss I'm Lijep nice to meet you. It's a lovely day for a walk through such a ...serene place don't you think? "

A small, amused smile took hold of Victoria’s lips; she was used to formal greetings, but hadn’t expected one all the way out here. She responded in kind, only inclining her head slightly, “I am Victoria. The pleasure is all mine.” She shook her head as though to relax and shake off the polite greeting. Tossing her mane, allowing the cool air to run through it, she smiled again; this time a much more relaxed and friendly smile. “It is a beautiful day.” She agreed. “I am glad to be able to get out and enjoy it... and the new company that comes with it.”

Chuckling softly Lijep shook his short mane his eyes bright, and joyful. Adventure lurked around every corner! He had time to run and explore and, have fun but, meeting someone new always took priority. "Miss Victoria. I do so agree with you! It's a marvelous day ripe for exploring and adventure but, before that tell me what a lady such as yourself is doing out and, about? Do you live nearby or are you too exploring?" Finding other adventurous mares or stallions piqued Lijep's interest so very much. Meeting them meant he might find a companion to spend time with, or someoen to travel with until they had to return home, or until they grew bored of his presence. Maybe this pink female would offer adventure and, fun.

Victoria chuckled and nodded, “My territory isn’t far from here, but I’m determined to seek out a little adventure while I can.” Her smile was a little wistful as she paused; a part of her wished she could be rid of her duties as the leader of a herd so she could roam and explore and have great adventures. However, she could never let down those who depended on her… She would have to settle for moments like these, little tastes of the world, new faces and spontaneous adventures.
The mare gave a toss of her mane, shaking off the little melancholy; this was no time for regrets and sad thoughts. This was a happy moment. She smiled brightly at the stallion, “So, my friend, what brings you out here?”
