It is easy to say that he Kira is incredibly anti-social and doesn't trust anyone. The boy isn't very friendly and hates to be bothered by people and other stupid things like emotions. The emotions that Kira actually like are anger, hatred, and any other emotion that revolves around anger. He is cold and calculating and will not stop to help anyone. Because of his rough and dark past, Kira does not trust anyone. He is intelligent and has been called a genius on more than one account, and he excels in any sort of math or arts.
Kira does have a little bit of a temper and he will defend himself no matter what. He will stand up for himself and if he feels sorry enough for someone else, he will throw a few punches only because he is antsy for a good fight. The best thing for others is to completely avoid him unless you want a death wish.

Kira's history is dark and rather sad. He was born from a Kitsune Father and a Wolf Demon Mother. His parents were so absorbed into one another and when Kira was finally born, he was quickly dropped off at the nearest orphanage. He lived at the orphanage until he was eight and we was taken by two people in white coats, who were interested in his bloodline for some reason. Being a small child who believed he would find someone who would finally love him, he left happily with the two people and then everything went all to Hell for Kira. Everyday he was poked and prodded for some sort of experiment, where the people took so much blood and then left him for days without eating. Kira had to live this very lifestyle for years and years, putting up with brain enhancements as well as testing. He was basically a lab rat for these people, and it made Kira realize that there was no good in this pitiful world.
So Kira ended up being cold and heartless.
However, because of all the brain enhancements and experiments, Kira found it hard to control himself and would often lose control. After having one of these breakdowns and killing over twenty people, they finally put a special collar around Kira's neck in order to keep him in check. The collar could also make him change whenever the doctors wanted, and if they felt like it they kept Kira in his true form and chained him outside like a common dog. While being chained outside, Kira had a thought of time to think to himself and where he finally discovered his power of Sight. The power was rather morbid since basically all the visions Kira would receive were dark, but it also helped him escape one day. Though Kira completely blacked out during his escape, he can remember the strong odor and taste of human flesh and blood. Not the best memory to have but Kira didn't care because he was finally free.
The collar is still secured around his neck along with a couple of chain links. To be honest, Kira is afraid of taking the collar off not wanting to kill anyone, so he decided to keep it not only for protection but as a reminder as well. A reminder that no one can be trusted. As Kira was walking around, he heard an opening of a special type of school which quickly drew his attention. After hearing more about it and looking at it throw the gates, Kira felt safe there and decided it would be best if he was there.
