The lack of subforums I think is the main issue.
There are a few topics I see that are totally out of place, so I go to move them, but the correct subforum doesn't actually exist so I'm just kinda left scratching my head.
A few of the subforums are also named kinda vaguely, "Fanbased RPs" could be changed to "Series-Based RPs" for one, "Supernatural RPs" to "Creature RPs" too.

add "fictoin fantasy" sub forum!
you could also use a "profiles" sub, and a "brainstorm" sub.
and maybe a "battle war" sub....
((some of the stuff could be moved to the profiles sub if you had one.))

The new subforums, if a bit wordy, help a lot, but we could still use a few others:
- Romance RPs
- General Discussion
- Sci-Fi/Future RPs
And possibly a "Magic RPs" subforum
I was also wondering if you would mind if I posted some RPing guides up.
I've come across a few really nice ones I think would really help people (Full credit will of course be given to their creators), and I'm kinda thinking of writing an introductory guide to RPing myself.

I noticed in a couple of other guilds that they have an "Extended Absence" thread -- so that guild moderators know that there is a reason they are not posting in RPs or in the General Discussion and won't ban them; and it might be looked in on by those who were RPing with the person and understand why the RP is currently on hold.
Do you think this is something that we should have or consider?

specifying subforums too much though tends to be that people never get enough people in rps because not everyone goes to that subforum so if we lump them together then it's more likely people will get enough people in their rps and I don't like over specifying subforums...

That is a good point, I sometimes get frustrated that people only ever participate in a single type of RP, and that would certainly widen their horizons a bit...
What about an "RP Advertisements" Forum? I'm seeing a lot of threads with people just looking for others to RP with.

Maybe something like a "Meet the Mods" thread too, where all the Crew, Vice Captains, and Captain could introduce themselves to the guild? Let people know them a little better?

I think you should make a profiles sub forum, that way they rp's don't don't get cluttered with profiles.

allientis I think you should make a profiles sub forum, that way they rp's don't don't get cluttered with profiles. or the authers could keep all the profiles in the 2nd post, like in my tail tale RP. most RP guilds do both, and encourage the use of both, so it be ok to add a profile sub.
