(How this goes is very simple. Mostly, mothers (or fathers) can announce the birth of their children. Cubs can announce themselves if you want. That is up to you. This whole Ceremony is optional, but might be kind of fun!
Post as much as you'd like; it's a very open ended rp that is geared more towards the children introducting themselves to the adults, and making friends in other clans that they won't see as often in their own clan.)

"Hurry up hurry up, we have to be the first ones there!" Nisha's eyes grew wide, the young lioness in a panic. The day she had been waiting for had finally arrive; the Sky festival.
...Or more specifically, the Cloud ceremony.
Nisha had rehearsed in her head how she would introduce herself to the rest of the pride, the other cubs she was likely to meet, and the excitement of her first festival ever. There was a major road block in her plans though, as her parents seemed to be taking their sweet time arriving.
"I'm going to go on ahead, I don't want to miss anything." She let out a chirp of a roar before dashing off to the location the ceremony. When she arrived there was already a small group of pride members gathering. Nisha maneuvered her small body in between the large limbs belonging to the parents of others cubs.
She wasn't the first there after all, but she was close. Nisha sat her bum down, saying her tail eagerly. Soon there would be enough cubs to start the announcing, but in the meantime she began to survey the area and eyed the other cubs arriving.

Dongo took a deep breath, watching the cub. He couldn't help but smile a bit, watching, before he glanced at Huong. They'd discussed this carefully - They wanted to do this together, with each introducing a litter, out of their two so far. He rubbed his head against hers, before stepping before all. "Um... I'm not sure what to say here... But... Hi, I'm Dongo, this is my mate, Huong... We'd like to introduce two litters to the rest of the pride. Our first, born and grown since the last Sky Festival, are Luyu, A'nu, Nova, and Rajeev, and we've adopted the family name of Kalisetsi..."
Padding up next to her mate, Huong leaned on him, rumbling a purr. "And our second litter, born long ago enough they can attend the festival, are Inali, Shiriki, Kalanu, Awendela, and Odakota'mingen. All are healthy, happy cubs..." She paused, chuckling at her first litter. "And adults. And we hope you all accept them as they each are." Rubbing on Dongo, she purred again, before stepping aside, her gold-pelted mate following her.

Cama was completely excited. She knew that she came from a big clan, but just imagine! Cubs from other clans would be there too! She was quite small, as she wasn't terribly old, even new to her own clan, Wolf. She knew that her father was following her closely, and her brother and mother behind him most likely, but Camarillo [ed. ca-ma-ree-o for the curious] just couldn't help herself. She wanted to see everyone together. The idea that there were this many lions was just...wooooooow.
"Oooh!" she gasped, then shut her mouth. Oops. She knew she was supposed to wait her turn. Plopping her butt down, she couldn't help but wiggle, looking around excitedly as she tried to listen to those that were talking.Kimbilio followed behind his daughter, wondering just where she got all that energy. It must be from Ariza's side, because he couldn't really imagine it from his family. Well, except for his little thieving sister, wherever she was. "Hold on, baby girl," he whispered, pulling her wiggling self between his forelegs as he sat down as well. Things were rolling, and he listened to Huong and Dongo mention their little litters. Wow, the pride was getting so big.

Although he was an adolescent now, Manipi came forwards watching the other younger cubs. He smiled proudly, he had asked his father if he could announce himself though his dad wanted to tell the clans about the whole family. He itched excitedly as he waited for his father to announce his litter.Abiona steps forwards, his spine had always been naturally scattered with tattoos that belonged to his fur, he hadn't yet taken on any more tattoos to his body despite being amongst the ela for quite a long time. He was very proud of his family and he stepped forwards a smile on his face, his watery green eyes looking at the crowd of lions.
"I wish to announce the birth of Mine and Oyas litter. Seven cubs were born to us a few moons ago they each sport the noble name of Aduladi." He smiles proudly and nudges his chocolate brown son with a light smile.Manipi steps forwards, taking a deep breath he grins a little cockily . "My name is Manipi A duladi." He puffs out his chest and lets out a deep breath . "I am proud to be the son of Abiona and Oya of the bird clan, I greet you all." He bows his head just a little and settles himself beside his father smaller than his dad yet but sporting the adolescent mane he felt so pleased he had been able to announce himself. The pale hare popped up beside her companion and settled in the curl of his tail "Very nice Awesome." She whispers settling down to watch the other youngsters, her ears flattening against her head as she observes all of the young lions padding in.

A visible frown could be seen on Nisha's face. What was taking her parents so long!? Oh well, at least she had gotten to see what had happened so far. The first couple had quite a large family to introduce, with cubs that had even grown up since the last festival. How long would it be until the next festival? Surely she would still be a cub, though it was hard to think of being "Grown up" at her age.
Nisha quickly turned her head, looking over at a younger lioness than herself who had blurted out a noise. Her eyes quickly focused on the beautiful emerald colored feathers she adorned. Where did she find those!? She hadn't a feather anything like that in her collection. Tucked behind her fathers paws, and with another family beginning to introduce themselves perhaps this wasn't the time to go ask her about them.
But look at them! They were sooooo pretty.
Nisha shook her head and turned it towards the Aduladi family, no, she had to pay attention. After all, she wouldn't want anyone distracted while she introduces herself. She quietly watched as Manipi introduced himself to everyone, seeming so confident and cool while doing it too.

Chepi arrived fashionably late as was known for her to do. She only had Nuda with her as it made sense to drag one along and let Arun deal with the other two. Chepi had started to admire her mother somewhat now she was bringing up three cubs of her own especially with what they were like. Three balls of mischief!
As they arrived Chepi saw her niece Nisha on her own and couldn't help but roll her eyes. Her sister was never the cleverest of the siblings. Of course Chepi generally kept her arguments with her sister so she smiled nicely at Nisha.
"Where are your parents and brothers?" She asked quietly not wanting to at all seem rude to everyone else.
After her clan mate had finished speaking though she stepped forward.
"I Chepi Kidudushi wish to announce my own three cubs with Arun Kidudushi. Nuda, who is here along with her sister Tadi and her brother Mika. They are growing a lot faster then I originally thought they would." She smiled and then stepped back trying not to trip over Nuda.
Nuda had followed well more had been dragged to the ceremony. She really wasn't that interested in the whole ceremony thing in the slightest. She had arrived and sat there with a grumpy look on her face and gave her cousin the dirtiest look she could muster up, only to be clipped round the ear by her mother.

Camarillo blinked as she watched more lions gather. Young and old, colouring and not. She glanced up at her father with a huge smile, happy that he had let her come out here with him. She snuggled up to her father's leg, watching as a darker-maned adult announced his family, and one of his kids announce himself, Cama a little mesmerized by his blue feather and very colourful hare.
She didn't have a whole long to think about it, though, as another adult showed up, really dark as well! Cama's violet eyes blinked as she watched the mom scolded her daughter. Ohhh, what did she do? She didn't look to happy...
Cama's whole body lost itself as she rolled onto her back, unaware of the fact that her father had stood up until she was looking at the sky. Owlish eyes blinked in confusion as her father's shadow temporarily blocked the sun, and she wiggled to roll back onto her belly and watch him.
It was so strange, being one to announce a family. He never thought that it would happen, but then, his life had been strange since he was born. He didn't mind, and liked the fact that few knew his true story. Still, his daughter would love to be announced by him, and as such he took the pause in announcements to do his own.
"I am Kimbilio of the Wolf Clan, mated to Mng'Ariza. We recently welcomed two little bundles of joy. This here is Camarillo Adohi, and my son Mzao'tamu Adohi is currently with his mother. I hope that she can grow up with many friends from all the clans, and not just Wolf."
He bowed, and took his place back near Cama, where she instantly pounced him and tried to chew on his ear.

She knew of the ceremony that her father wished to be apart of her. Oh, how this would be such a treat for Mapiya Aduladi. It wasn't very often that she got to wander from her clan, especially considering her disability made her very vulnerable to getting lost. Not being able to see did have it's disadvantages.
The scent of her father and brother were very strong as she wasn't too many paw lengths behind them. But, she could smell the scents of many other lions here. Oh! How she wished she could put a face to a name, but she couldn't do that to anyone...instead, she relied on her very keen sense of smell. When each spoke, she tried to match their scent to their names. It was a task, and she'd probably be wrong for most, but it was still something that she was working on.
After her father had done some introductions, she shyly glanced around, although she wasn't sure if her gaze was hitting anyone or not as she introduced herself, "I am...Mapiya Aduladi. It is nice to meet you all."

"They are taking their sweet time getting here... I don't even know if they will make it before the end." Nisha whispered to her aunt, then quietly watched as she introduced her cousin Nuda.
... what?
Why was Nuda looking at her like that!? Nisha hadn't done anything to aggravate her cousin (This time at least). How dare she try to ruin the most exciting day of her life!
As a few more lions introduced themselves Nisha decided two could play that game. She discretely made faces back at Nuda, taking care that her aunt only saw her excited little face paying full attention to whatever family was presenting whenever she looked down. Finally, when things seemed to be slowing down she stuck out her tongue one more time and stepped forward.
"Good morning everyone." Nisha said nervously, but quickly gained her composure.
"My name is Nisha Kidudushi. My mother and father are Awintia Kidudushi and Helaku of the Earth clan, and I have two brothers and a sister who couldn't make it to the ceremony. So um... Thank you for your attention, and I hope to get to know you all better." And she meant that quite literally, Nisha was quite a social little lioness. Not entirely sure if that was all she had to say, she wrapped things up by bowing her head down and trotting back to the spot she had been occupying.
