High along the mountains, a cold wind blew, stirring up the never-ending snow and brushing it across Alias’ face, settling along the pelt along her back and falling off her sides. She had stopped there, her fire-colored eyes scanning the edges of her pack’s territory intently and her nose raised to take in the wind. She was scouting along the invisible border that made up the pack’s territory, making sure nothing threatening approached and that the scent marks were still noticeable. And, she was doing this alone. Although it had been a while since she had first joined the back, she was still suspicious of most, if not all, of her pack-mates. Still, she was dedicated to doing her best to protect it. It was her pack, too, after all.
When another moment passed, and she was satisfied with the knowledge that nothing dangerous was in the area, she turned back to face the path and continued on her way. She was going at a moderate pace, not so slow that she would check every nook and cranny before moving on, but not so fast that she would only do a quick scan before moving on. It was the way she usually went about the task, and she had no plans to change it any time soon. Of course, it meant it would take a while for her to return to the main group of the pack, but she didn’t mind and, if they needed her, a summoning howl would have been enough to draw her to them.
Soon, she reached her next stop: the lowest area in the whole territory. Here, no flakes fell, and what snow there was was shallow and damp. From this vantage point, she had access to the area below and she observed the strange, brown and green trees that grew all around there. It was so close to the bare mountainside, yet so different, with its bright colors and liveliness, she was surprised the two places could live so near one another.
Her eyes to stray towards the stream, the one that cut through the rock and fed the mountains as much as it did the forests beneath. It lived everywhere, and reminded her of the time she once believed she could do the same. For a short period of time, she had chosen to live in the lands below, but... she was a mountain wolf. Her longer coat proved troublesome in the summer and, compared to the wide, open space of the mountain, everything but the sky and sea was stifling to her. No, her place was where she was now, and this she knew for certain. And so, looking away, she prepared to move on.

Small paws dipped in wet snow slowly dragged across the land as a tiny purple nose sniffed weakly at the ground, for some scent. Anything really, she was so hungry it didn't matter what she smelt. Her body was small, frail, and anything but strong. She was weak with hunger, and frightened out of her mind from what she had witnessed happened to her mother just a week ago. A pup so young shouldn't be out alone, not when it was cold, and she could hardly hunt. She let out a whimper, a sound so soft and pathetic, yet one that would carry across the lands. She was so tired, so hungry. Light blue eye's turned weakly up to the clouded sky, feeling a freezing breeze as it seemingly passed through her.
"Momma..." she whined, not aware that other wolves were in the area. She was alone, and frightened, and hungry, images of her mothers dead body filtered through her mind as she wished her throat wasn't so weak so she could howl. If only someone would be able to help her...
((I don't know who else to bring in... O.o I could breing in Kamea, She IS part of Alias's pack too =D any ideas?))

The soft crunch of snow could be heard under the large pups paws as he trotted behind Aloisia. His bright orange fur stood out from his snowy surroundings as they followed a stream. Ronon was a strong young pup with a stern face. He was slightly older than Aloisia, who was sleek and agile. Her pelt appeared to be laced with blood and her personality was anything but pleasant. Suddenly Ronon stopped. "Aloisia." He whispered sharply as he picked up the scent of a nearby wolf. He was still young and unable to determine the direction of the smell, but it was clear that it was very fresh and not far off. "Do you smell that?" Aloisia slowed down and raised her nose. "Of course I do you idiot." She said sniffing the air. "Onward." She snapped as she continued marching along the bank. "Don't be such a fool Aloisia." He sneered. "You have no idea what you are walking into." Aloisia turned around quickly and threw Ronon to the ground. "You listen to me... I'm the one who spared you from a painful death don't make me regret my decession... you follow my orders! Understand?" She growled and huffed in Ronon's face. He whimpered softly and nodded his head. "You really are pathetic Ronon." She let herself off him and turned back in the direction she was headed. "Get up."

((Ooh, that'd be great. BD Alias could use another friend, since she just has her fox. xD (Fox isn't made or named yet, but he'd be the second pet I bring in once he is. o vo)))
Alias didn't know what it was that made her stop, but something did, and when she looked back down again, she could see a pup whose bright colors made it hard to distinguish against its equally bright surroundings. If she had not looked again, she would not have seen the pup, but she did and, despite the fact that she hated leaving the pack borders, she couldn't help but think, even from her distance, that the pup looked frail and helpless and that it was alone.
One could say she was stoic, cruel, even, based on her actions. But that was not the way she was and, unable to help feeling the small wave of worry that filled her now, she began to trudge down the slope that would lead her to snow-less lands and the pup.
Before she had reached the bottom, she saw not just one, but two more pups. From her previous vantage point, a moderately-sized rock, which would have failed to hide a larger, more grown wolf, covered the two small figures from her view who, from where she was now, stuck out like a sore thumb against the white backdrop. One was a bright orange, similar to the pelt on her back, and the other held the look of a bloodied form, yet it was nothing more than the natural color of the pup's pelt.
She looked between the three with growing curiosity, a sense of foreboding filling her when the amount of what seemed to be parent-less pups began to rise.

Kamea watched her pack mates decent from their territory, she hadn't meant to be spying, only out hunting a little snack. To which she had been rewarded by the rabbit hanging limp in her jaws. It was a clean kill, and she wasn't worried about it bleeding all over her as she chose to follow Alias a few paces. When the other Femme stopped so did she, and that's when she saw the pups. Two it seemed were together. while the third, whom was heading more their way, seemed lost... She heard the little one's cry, and also heard the seemingly blood covered femme's words as they echoed across the field, causing a small growl to rise. 'bully...' she thought silently as she continued a few paces to stand beside Alias.
"What should we do... leave them? Or see if they need help?" She said after lowering her kill to the rock she stood on.
-------------- Small ears' flicked to the sounds of others behind her, She turned horrified blue eye's in the direction the voices had come, spotting two other pups in the distance. She froze, a whimper escaping her as she caught a wiff of fear scent from the boy pup on a breeze. 'The other girl must not be nice...' she thought to herself as she tried hard to blend in, hoping they wouldn't see her. They could kill her she was so weak. And she wasn't ready to die yet...

Ronon stood back up shaking himself off. Aloi was always like this, it was just something he had to get use to. She had saved Ronon's life, without her he would be dead, and he felt that he owed his loyalty and life to her. -------- Ronon was very weak when it happened, he had been lost from his family during a caribou stampede. It had been nearly a week since he had last eaten and he was losing hope. A large hawk attacked Ronon at his weakest hour. He put up now fight to the large creature as it's talons raked his flesh. Ronon was sure he had died. Everything was black. When he opened his eyes he found himself staring into the, what seemed bloodied, face of Aloisia. She explained to him how she fought off the hawk by sneak attacking it. She nudged his head towards the dead bird laying feet away from him. "Eat." She said harshly. "You need your strength to travel with me." Ronon nodded, still shaken up by everything that had just happened. -------- Ronon's eyes began to focus on something in the distance. "There" he whispered pointing forward with his nose. "Do you see that Aloi?" Aloisia huffed and came to his side. She peered out into the distance and saw nothing. "No you idiot. I don't. That hawk must have screwed with your vision." She snapped. Ronon shook his head... "just keep going, you will see it eventually." Ronon had clearly seen a small pup up ahead moving. He almost feared going near it with Aloisia, because he was sure she would either kill it or recruit it. The later being the worse of the two. "Don't you dare give me orders." she glared at him. "Onward." She began marching forward searching in the distance for what Ronon claimed to have seen. As they continued walking she finally picked up on what he had seen. "A pup!" she exclaimed, the tone in her voice worried Ronon. A shiver ran down his spine as she took off after it. "Aloisia! Don't you're only going to scare it away!" Ronon took off after her. He used all the strength he could to out run Aloi. Once infront of her he came to a halt causing her to crash into him only feet away from the scared female pup. "ARE YOU NUTS!?" Aloi screeched as she untangled herself from Ronon.

Alias flicked an ear towards an approaching wolf (Kamea Shi, if her sense of hearing and smell hadn't betrayed her), acknowledging her presence but refusing to take her eyes away from the pups that held them lest it was the alpha himself. However, even without turning around, she could tell the light steps were not those of a male's and, being less inclined to converse during moments such as these, when she had something more important to do, she said nothing.
If things had gone her way, the silence would have lasted much longer, and the gamma would have left her, but it was not long until an inquiry was directed toward her. For a while longer, her lips stayed as they were, and the only sound from her was the soft sigh of her breaths. She continued to watch the pups, taking note especially of what appeared to be the most dominant (the one bloodied in appearance) and her movements towards the bright, frightened little pup, but knew eventually she would have to say something. And, finally, she did.
"They have no parents." It was said simply, with no hint of a uncertainty despite the short amount of time she had spent observing them, for it was the only way she could explain their strange behavior. However, she did not add onto it, suggesting that they either leave or retrieve the small forms, for she was still new to the pack and uncertain of its ways. If it had been up to her, she would have left them as they were, for certainly they held a better chance of survival down by the mountains, where wolves to find and care for them would be more common, and the land of cold and snow was always scarce regarding food when compared to the forests. Still, she did not know the alpha as much as Kamea did and, reluctant to try the temper of her savior, withheld further comment and waited for the gamma to offer her own opinion.

Faith: let loose a horrified squeak as she attempted to get away from the pups, only tripping on a snow covered rock and falling to her side with a yelp of pain. Her ear's back as she tried to get up. watching as the male pup seemed to be protecting her from what ever the other femme had planned.
Struggling to her shaking legs she realized she'd hurt her back paw and with a limp went about quickly trying to retreat higher up the mountain, having not seen the two older wolves above them. "N-noo dun...noo.... Please...n-no!" She didn't bother calling for help, her mind still on the fact that she was alone, and dying. She just kept limping up. not fast enough to get away, just a sad attempt as fear drove her away from the scary female pup with blood all over her. Eventually she stumbled again into snow and just dropped there. Her energy gone she just kept whimpering hoping that the mean pup would leave her alone, or the other one would be able to keep the meanie away long enough to catch her breath.
----------------
Kamea: Golden eye's rolled at her pack-mates blunt answer, she had forgotten that this femme was new and seemed to keep to herself. As the situation below escalated her ears went back. The little purple and peach pup was so frightened.... and that blood covered one, just had something off about her.
She stopped the rumbling growl before it escaped her but instead turned her voice to Alias, her ear flicking in the pack mates direction. "Should we intervene? Something about that Aloisia...or at least that's what the boy pup called that blood covered femme..." her voice was hushed as to not catch the younger one's attention from their perch above. But she wouldn't have it that way for long, She planned on watching for a few more minutes, hoping that her thoughts of the young blood covered girl were off.
