 Aoi was off on her own, finally. It only took months to convince Runaiu and Tenshi to let her off on her own. Tenshi was fretting about her safety, and Runaiu had been trying to get her to say goodbye to her adopted brother, Mercury. But in the end she had escaped, and now was on her own. She was more similar to Runaiu than Tenshi. Colored like her except the glowing and pink markings under her cheeks, and she wasn't insecure, but she was snappy at times and loved traveling. Oh, oh she was prepared for this journey of hers.
The rocky bottom of the large mountain did not frighten her. She'd trek up that all by herself in no problem! Duhh, she was Aoi after all, she needed no one's help!

 Rai decided that now would be a good time to come out of the cave he had found in a mountain side. He had went in hopes of finding something interesting or an adventure but all he found was stupid bat poo and a dead end.

Aoi was passing a cave when she bumped into something large and warm. She leapt backwards, letting out a rather loud and vicious snarl in shock. A mountain lion? No, a white male! Her ears flicked backwards, head tilting as she relaxed, only barely. What was some guy doing out here?
"Watch it!" She yelped, though it was her fault she had bumped into him. She examined the male, noticing his markings and blinking. Hey! He looked about her age! Strange, everyone she met was always so much older than her.

Rai let out and 'ouf' as something ran into him. It snarled at him so he hackles stood up and snarled back. His bared teeth gleamed in the light. His lip curled to let everything know he was not in any mood what so ever.
When his eyes focused he found him self staring at a glowing female. Why she was glowing he had no clue but she had the nerve to tell him to watch it. "Excuse me little girl your the one not paying attention and running into people."

Okay, fair enough. She had indeed run into him, but she was not little! Aoi puffed up, glaring right at him, almost even scary. She was not going to let some punk yell at her like she was little! "Hey, we're the same age! Don't say you aren't because Blue Mother taught me how to tell peoples age. Nomads know these things." She raised her head proudly, tail flicking.
"And excuse me, but you ran into me, too!" Oh, she had fire all-right. She was not like White Mother at all. Not a single bit. She resembled Runaiu all the way, except she was not insecure like her. Aoi was tough, and knew how to protect herself.

Rai chuckled to himself. "Well little spit fire we might have been born in the same season but that doesn't necessarily mean we are the same age." He spoke with some arogence thrown into his voice just to tease her.
"I wouldn't have run into you if you hadn't run into me,"He grumbled back "No wonder father says to stay away from most foxes they cant keep their facts straight."

Aoi glared at him. Idiot, could he not count? "Actually, it does. Born in the same season of the same year, then we are. Maybe not the same day wise, but year wise we are the same age." She snapped, flicking her tail in annoyance.
"And this is why my blue mother told me to avoid all males, because they can't get their facts straight, either." She was annoyed, clearly. Seriously, was he dumb? Calling her all mixed up in facts, but he couldn't count!

Rai was listening to her and watching her every movement. He was trying so hard not to crack a smile. This girl had fire and he liked it. In the end he ended up failing and started smirking. He than got an idea in his head and pounced on her pinning her to the ground. "I know how to count thank you. But I was being exact as to where your generalizing. Which is fine." He kept her pinned. "Anyone ever tell you that you have some serious fire burning inside you miss?"

She did not like that one bit! She kicked the male off her with her back feet, flipping back onto all fours and snarling at the male, shaking herself off. "Watch it! Don't go pouncing on random females!" She snapped, tail lashing. At the mention of fire she blinked, tilting her head in surprise. She moved back a few steps, tail flicking.
"Yea, my blue mother and Lavi." She responded, relaxing only slightly. She kept away from him to stop him from leaping onto her again, eyeing him.
"Do you have a name, bunny?" She said, reffering to his leap at her.

He grinned to himself as she got all puffy about being pounced on. She was right he really shouldn't have done that but it made her react and he found it amusing.
"Your mother and who?" He asked watching as she seemed to calm down a bit. He supposed that was a good thing.
"My name is Rai and I have never been called a bunny before. Whats your name miss full of fire?" He asked her and bowed his head to her.

She huffed, sitting on her haunches. Well, he was a bunny! "My eldest brother in a litter of six. Lavi." She glanced at him, sighing. "He sticks with Akira though." She mused, shrugging. Akira was like a baby, she needed to be supervised or she'd hurt herself. Well, no one knew if she would, but Lavi kept her safe anyway.
"Names Aoi." She sighed, glaring at the male. Rai and Aoi? Three letter names, ending with i. Oh no no no! They did not have anything in common! Eck!

Rai nodded in understanding "Yeah your sister Akira sounds like mine Venton." he stated backing up some more to give the vixen more space.
"Aoi huh? Well you have a nice name." He said and watched her wondering what she was thinking.

She beamed at him, ears flicking. "Means blue! What does your mean, Mister. I-Can't-Count?" Teasing, there she went again. But hey, she meant well! Sorta. Sorta kinda.... she was trying to make friends. Once again, sorta.... The glowing vixen's aura turned lighter as she laid down, tail flicking back and forth lazily. This male was going to get a face full of tail fluff if he gave her a smart remark.

"Oh huh ho we are back to that Miss cant get her facts straight," He said teasingly and let it known that he was playing. He stuck his tongue out at her. "My name means lightning. Yes I don't have any lightning marks on me but my mother does and I think my father named me to remind himself of her or something I don't know" he kicked a rock away.

"Oh." She said, shrugging at the male. Interesting. She rolled her eyes, narrowing them. "I was going off the facts you gave me, mister." She snipped back, tail flicking side to side. "Sheesh, you remind me of Lavi, you know that?" The vixen rolled her eyes once more, nestled onto her stomach, and rested her head on her arms.
