There's a Hidden Village of Yaoi at y!gallery, but since this needs to lean more toward... erm... >.> Shounen-ai-ness...
Anyway, I was thinking of starting a yaoi/shounen-ai role play with original characters only. Meaning, we're all in a hidden village and characters of our own design. No Sasuke, Naruto, or Shikamaru (*hides from teh Chieira*) up for grabs. ^^ I think it would be interesting, at least.
Or we could have a 'new' village. ^^ *raises fist* Humpkage! *coughcough* Anyway.... Suggestions? Comments? sweatdrop Think I'm crazy?
What we have so far -
Village of the Lost Arts (Or possibly Hidden Hump Village. Lost Arts sounds interesting though. ^^)
Characters -
Yamato Riku (Henta-kage) [Rosekoneko]
Nakamei Shiro (Jounin, Henta-kage assistant) [Chieira]
Momochi Nezumi (Chunnin, ANBU... person... blaugh She's yet to decide) [Henada]
Yama Yasuo (Jounnin/ANBU squad leader) [AngeliqueDaemon]
Sumarra (Chunnin) [Sumarra]
(I'll put up the plot later. ^^ And I could donate the gold needed to make a subcategory for this, in case we start several threads with the given characters.)

Sex: Male
Age: 27
Description: Black hair, green eyes, average height. Has tribal tattoos over his upper arms, and across his chest.
Background: Orphaned at an early age, his father was one of the assassins sent to kill Gaara as a child. While he holds Gaara no ill will, he prefers to stay away from Sunagakure. His teacher, Tonbo, is the founder of Hidden Village of Lost Arts, and passed the title of Henta-kage down to him three years ago. Riku is very close with his assistant, who is often more diplomatic than he is one moment, then more sharp tongued than the Henta-kage the next. He also enjoys flirting back with Yasuo, much to the annoyance of Shiro. Riku considers Yasuo a good friend, but enjoys Shiro's reactions enough to keep up with the harmless flirting.

Background: One of the first children to be born in the Hidden Village of Lost Arts, he achieved average marks in the academy, and did not excel until he reached chuunin level at the age of sixteen. After that he moved quickly to jounin level, and was eventually able to become assistant to the Henta-kage, the man he looked up to most during his teenage years, though he'd never admit it. He is a talented ninja, but still has a lot to learn, and sees working under the Henta-kage as the perfect way to do so. He's usually very calm and ordered, except when he's lecturing the Henta-kage, or trying to keep Yasuo from flirting with him. Quick sketches of Shiro:   ^.^ Gwen is in the process of coloring those for me.

Though, it'll take 'em a few days to even notice this thread, NO ONE goes to the RP forum >> Maybe we should put some sort of announcement on the front page? A sticky or something?
