Her brother had slipped away from her in their game of 'Prot the dragon and the knight' that they'd been playing. Making up games off their grandfather's stories was fun, it gave them something to be creative about. Sure.. her brother often became 'knight fricassee" but it was all fun in games. As she looked for him, wondering where he'd gone. She poked her head into a hallow log, her rear sticking up in the air as she looked to see if her brother had been hiding in the log. Just where had Prot's prey gotten to this time? Had he gotten angry and just left the game this time? Or was he really that good at hiding?

 Cadmium didn't venture far from the shelter of home without her constant companion and she didn't want to be out now. It wasn't that she was particularly grumpy about being sent out 'to find something pretty' but she felt as though she was being set up. Set up for a surprise and if there was anything in all the world that Cadmium hated, and she didn't often hate things, but if there was one thing she did hate it was surprises. They were so surprising and she could never tell if the idea behind them was to frighten the surprisee and set them up for failure or what. She didn't even want to know what 'what' could possibly be but if it was the alternative to being scared witless she didn't want to know.
Brows furrowed and mouth straight she was busy silently cursing whomever had created surprises when she was ironically surprised to see a wiggling foal bottom coming from a tree hollow not even five feet ahead of her. Concerned and curious. Mostly curious. But concerned and curious for the foal's well-being she quickened her pace in order to check things out. What if the poor child was stuck? What if the foal had been forced to stick her head into that hole for nefarious purposes and in any moment the horrible monster that had perpetrated such a deed was on it's way back?
"Hello? Little one..." she managed to say softly. Should the offender return. "D-d-do you need assistance in escaping the monster what p-put you there?"

She nearly hit her head as she back peddled to the sound of a mare's voice. " What? Oh no.. I'm looking for that foul knight who dares to challenge the great and mighty Prot!" Grinning wide, she trotted over to a bush and sniffed around.. "Rakshi you spineless Curr get out here and face your doom!" She looked around a bit more before giving a small pout and giving her brother up for leaving the game. "Hello! I'm Tian... but my brother and sister call me Tia..." Large innocent olive eyes stared at the green mare before her and she gave a rather mischievous grin. "Want to play?"
