So far, the day had started out just as boring and uneventful as usual. She had gotten up to find Lucifer (demon cat) had pinned Callix (batling) to the wall and the screeching between the two had made the she-wolf throw a pillow at the two. Like usual, her faithful hazmutt was curled up on the pillows with her, staying out of it all.

After the typical quarrel had been dealt with, LW had gone scampering through the halls to one of her classes. She made it just in time and did try to participate, but her mind was elsewhere. Once that was over with the she-wolf took up her customary roaming of the halls. It wasn't like there was anything else for her to do. Annnnd, somehow or another, Callix had escaped her room and flopped on top of her head. This startled LW a little and she glared up at the batling.

About to tell him what she thought of his 'sneaking up' on her, LW paused as a curious sight caught her eye. Tail twitching, the she-wolf stood for a moment and watched. What was that ghoul doing? She looked to be a monster on first inspection, but giving her another narrowed look, LW realized it was a...costume? of some sorts the ghoul had on.

Walking up on light feet, and making sure to shush Callix, LW approached the ghoul. "S'cuse me? Whatcha doin?"

It was to be her first day of official classes. Holly still didn't have much of any idea as to what she was doing at this school. Unknown to her she had barely lived the life before this one too but that didn't involve schooling. She had left her close to barren room in the morning and attended said class.

Near the end of class a wave of JOYful feelings washed over her. She shuddered. That really needed to stop happening. Now what to do? Frankly she was bored after her first class and wanted to find something fun to do.

Maybe time for a little fun? Ah she was a fox after all and what more fun then a little mischievousness. What to do, hmmm. How about a little snack. The Home Eck room was locked that that wasn't going to stop her!

Holly undid one of her hair pins and started to pick the door. Her human ears twitched at the approaching person (she missed her fox form for things like that). She turned and looked over her shoulder at the she-wolf. "Oh, uh. Helping myself to a little snack."

Drawing closer, LW realized that the 'costume' was of a fox. And that it wasn't a costume, but pajamas. Interesting. Her nose wrinkled as she sniffed the student unashamedly. What? She was a wolf and wanted to know this ghouls scent! The batling on her head just watched with big eyes while LW glanced around the hallway and stepped closer.

A quirky grin lit up her face. "Sneaky sneaky. Need any help with that?" She gestured towards the lock. Lock-picking was one of her devious skills. It came in handy for when you wanted to set up that really awesome prank in the wee hours of the night. Yep. The she-wolf knew how to pick a lock.

Tail wagging lazily, she looked the ghoul over again. "You're new, aren't ya?" She tapped her nose. "Don't recognize your scent. And I haven't seen you about before." Looking around again, because she knew a kindred deviant spirit when she saw one, LW made sure there were no teachers roaming about. "Names LW, by the way. What can I call you?"

As Holly concentrated more on picking the lock which was almost open, the tail of her pajamas started to fade out a bit. Side effect of being a ghost and all. Unlike most of the other ghouls, though she was really a fox (or had been) she did not take on any of the features of one. Instead, for some reason unknown to her, she ended up in pajamas. They were awesome and comfortable though. Whatever scent LW got would have been a foxy smell if anything.

"Not that sneaky if you saw me then, right?" She was still getting use to the ghost thing. "Not use to hands like this yet. I'm really a fox ghost, see, so it's all different."

Holly nodded and stopped the picking attempt for the moment. "Yep. I spawned just the other day, in Christmas Town. Which from what I hear isn't very normal." Okay, besides the foxy ghosty smell, there was probably a hint of JOYfulness to her scent. "I'm Holly. Want a snack, whenever I get this thing open?"

LW was watching the other ghoul work her lock picking skills. She as impressed that there was someone else that possessed this skill. Her attention was momentarily distracted by the ghouls tail suddenly starting to become transparent. Oh! She was a ghost! That was the scent she was sort of picking up too. They tended to have a cool earthy scent to them.

"You were just unlucky that a fellow deviant like myself came along." She said with a grin to the ghoul. "Ah. A fox, eh?" Her grin grew. Two fellow canine deviants. What fun!

Moving a step closer, she glanced at the lock in question. Then frowned cutely. "I don't like that JOY infested town. So glad to be back in Halloween." In fact...she picked up a little bit of that every now and then from this ghoul. "Nice to meet ya, Holly. And I might have a sweet tooth calling to me once you get it unlocked." Giggling and winking, LW kept watch of the hall to let the ghost finish her work.

Holly went back to concentrating more so she wouldn't fade out any more. The tail stayed slightly transparent though. She went back to the picking. The ghoul wondered what the other was, she had a real tail so some sort of animal? That would make sense she was talking about smell.

"Fellow? Good. I haven't met any others that liked a little mischief yet." Holly was liking this ghoul. The locked poped open. "Ah! There we go." She smiled.

She shrugged. "I don't remember anything at all of it. I just remember the first thing was white and a bunch of students. I like it here a lot more." Now not the lock had been opened the moment before. "Shall we then? Thanks for keeping watch there." Holly opened the door and motioned for LW to enter.

The she-wolf kept slowly looking along the corridors, glancing over her shoulder as well to check on this...Holly. She had to admit she was a little surprised that a ghost would need to pick a lock. Couldn't they just phase through the wall? But, she was a monster so what did she know about ghosts? Shaking her head at herself, LW looked around again only to glance back when she heard Holly speaking to her.

"Really?" The she-wolf asked with surprise. "I've met a few others. Well, not personally 'met' but I have run into a few." As she turned back to scan the halls again, she heard the distinct sound of a lock popping open. LW twisted around to make sure the ghost had indeed gotten the lock open. "Nice." She said with a smile.

"Be lucky then, that is all you remember." Moving forward cautiously and sniffing at the air, LW was happy to learn there was no one inside the door. She was always careful when sneaking into places that weren't meant to be snuck into. Listening for a minute, she double checked to make sure it was clear. Good. "We should be good to go." She nodded with a grin. "And no prob. I usually don't have anyone to watch my back." Well, that wasn't completely true. But her minipets usually ended up bickering with each other. Tail swinging lazily, LW stepped through the threshold and into the Home Eck room.

"Well, great minds think alike, eh?" She was interested in the others that liked to have fun like this too. No doubt she'd run into them one day. "Really? That bad? I haven't heard much past what I remembered." Holly turned and checked around. It was weird being this high up though then again having hands was pretty sweet.

Holly entered the room after and closed the door. She stopped for a moment and testingly phased her hand through the door and back out. It was weird, so weird to be able to do. "I, uh. Guess I didn't need to do that, did I? I can say I picked a lock which I'm never doing again." Ever. Though getting use to phasing would take some time.

The she-wolf grinned at the fox ghoul. "Great minds indeed do think alike." She glanced around the room, tail flicking at the end while she explored. Definitely no one in here. But there were traces of scents from students, gnomes and teachers that frequented this room.

"Yeah. We didn't even know what was going on." LW said, turning back to look at Holly. "They put us on this train with no real explanation about it. Then the train crashed and we found ourselves in this white JOYful hell." The she-wolf shivered. "I hate snow. And JOY." LW gave watched the other. "And on top of all that, something about the place messed with our student pins, so us shifters had trouble with our other forms." LW shook her head remembering the constant fluctuation of her wolf form and humanoid one. So annoying.

"Guess not." She tilted her head in that canine fashion. "How...if you don't mind me asking, how long have you this form for?" It just seemed that Holly wasn't used to this form.

"From what I gathered from my sort time here, no one seems to know what is going on anyway." Who had really thought it a good idea to stick a bunch of students on a train with no real directions? Holly did wish she had gotten to learn a little more about the place before having to have left. She had after all come from it but that is all she really knew.

Holly shivered at the mention of JOY. "It's the opposite of FEAR or something right?" Or at least that is what she had heard. "That doesn't sound like it was fun, aren't some boils and ghouls pretty large in there normal forms?" But the idea of no control wasn't very exciting.

The ghoul started to look around the room. What to eat? Hmmm. "Oh, uh. A few days? I think that sounds right. It's weird honestly."

LW shrugged and moved on light feet about the room. The dancer in her had taught her how to walk as silently and lightly as possible. Which came in very handy when up to no good. She tried to think, but the she-wolf was pretty sure she had never been in this room before. Her gaze traveled around taking it all in.

"Yeah, I think that is essentially what it is." Her tail flicked and goosebumps appeared. "Nasty stuff. Makes you feel...not quite right." LW turned back to look at Holly, a wolfish grin appearing. "Yep! You should visit the monster dorm sometime. We have a wide range of sizes. Very lage creatures."

Having made a round of the room, LW padded back over to where the fox was. "A few days? Wow. I bet it does feel weird." She tilted her head. "I can relate though. When I was little pup, it was always disorienting to shift between forms." Violet eyes widened as she realized, this ghoul might not have known he was a werewolf. Smiling even more, LW added, "I'm a werewolf. I have a feral form and this humanoid one."

Holly glanced around the room. Obviously she had yet to be in this room being new and all. Where would be the best place to look? LW caught her eye and she watched the other almost dance about. She was impressed with the grace the other showed. The ghoul went over to a cabinet. Opening it she looked through it's contents.

She just nodded in response to the JOY, just talking about it was giving her chills which was odd for a ghost. "That's what monster's are right?" From what she gathered most of them were not humanoid at all or were made out of things. "I'd love to visit it sometime and just see all the different creatures." She moved some of the stuff around in the cabinet. "Defiantly is." Pup? She some kind of canine too? "Oh! That makes sense." The tail and such made it all come together then. "Though you are both normally correct? I have to use a pin to stay like this." Darn inconvenience.
