The snow was fairly deep and getting deeper as thesh-ah made he way back from her self appointed patrol rounds toward her snuggly warm tepee. It wouldent have been so slow of going if she hadent been haveing to break her own trail. Noting her crow familiar rodrick shivering away she spoke at last. "rodrick you fly on ahead back to the tepee before you freeze. The last thing I need is another dead ornament on me. Let Alone a frozen one." she said with a hint of humor looking up or at least trying to look up at him perched on her masks horn. "no way sister I'm sticking it out with you." he retorted trying not to shiver. "rodrick just go you know I will do more than fine by myself besides you should probably tell everyone not to worry it's getting late." she replied. For a moment he was quiet she had won he knew she was right. "*sigh* fine." he replied taking wing and flying off in the proper direction. She was alone no nothing but the sound of the snow falling and crunching beneath her hooves to keep her company.
Synestra really couldn't wait for winter to be over already. Sadly though there was quite a bit of the cold and snow riddled weather left before spring would return. Perhaps she wouldn't mind it so much if she was an averaged sized Soquili, but when most drifts were just as tall, if not taller than she was it was getting really tiring very quickly. Bad enough that she had to push through drift after drift but rarely could she see over the top of them to know what was waiting for her on the other side. The worse part of all, was that after hours and hours of walking Synestra really hadn't gotten very far. Each snow drift slowed her down immensely and she was beginning to tire quickly.
Up head, well it was a wall of white. Yet another snow drift was blocking her path, through this one was particularly deep, and even rearing up she could barely see past it. "This is ridiculous." Synestra muttered quite loudly and began to travel the length of the drift looking for a lower spot to cross. Curses the drift was wider than she first thought. Well this was a fine day to not have her buffalo companion Keres around to help out, not that she liked to admit that she needed help, but at least Keres never said anything about Synestra's small size.

On she trudged one hoof infront of the other untill she heard a voice. She pushed trough a large bearm and found that there was a trail already on the other side with a tiny ushida makeing it. As far as could be told she was travleing the length in an atept to find a place to cross. "I agree quite rediculus." she offered with a freindly smile to counter act her frightening apperance. "and it's only getting more so." The snow had no sighn of letting up anytime soon. "I'm thesh-ah."
So caught up in her current misery from the deep snow bank and grumbling to herself about that very thing Synestra failed to hear the approach of another. And so when a friendly voice called out to her the small grey mare jumped into surprise and let out small yelp. As began to turn around to face the other she spoke. "You scared me." And then her eyes fell upon the skeleton clad mare and quickly regretting her choice of words and tried to correct herself. "I didn't mean because of your..." Her eyes ticked to the bone and felt even more embarrassed that her wits and words seemed to be eluding her at the moment. "I...meant you kinda snuck up on me there."
Giving her head a shake Synestra wasn't sure if she was making the situation better or worse so she decided to stop trying to make it better and move on. "I'm Synestra." And then she glanced up towards the sky as the snow continued to fall. "Darn stuff, I do wish it would stop falling." Her eyes settled back upon the mare and looked upon her curiously. Unable to hold back her curiosity she asked. "Are they heavy? The bones I mean."

She-Ra of Etheria
Tagsies
Thesh-ah looked at at the tiny mare bemused she took no offense such reactions any longer as they were a commonplace occurrence when it came to meeting new faces and she had gotten ussed to it what seemed like ages ago. The day she stopped getting any form of shock out of her appearance would indeed be the unusual one. "its all right i know what you meant and i know my appearance even better. A pleasure Synestra here let me lend you a hoof or two you look like your having issue. " she said with a chuckle rearing onto her hind legs to dig at the large berm of snow. " At least we know we wont have a dry summer with all this snow . . ." she commented "The Bones? . . .they were at first and sometimes they still are but Ive grown accustomed for the most part. not like Ive got a choice its healed itself in place so i cant very well take it off even if i wanted too as im sure what under it is even worse." she explained. trying not to imagine what her face beneath it looked like . . . a mass of scars and old battle wounds . ..truly hideous she was positive.
