Cat was letting time pass by at its leisure as he looked over his remedial student's homework, a dull and slightly meaningless task that was usually saved for when he had nothing better to do but twiddle his thumbs. Oh, he valued his students equally and all that, but looking over such basic concepts over and over again was tedious even for the most patient teacher. Still, it's not like he had anything much better to do. A few beanbags lay piled on his desk, ready and waiting for when they'd been flying towards his new student. All she had to do was show up...

The overly confident Wrath/Liberality spawn strolled through the halls. In her eyes, she'd been acing all of her classes. This Spirituality Class wasn't going to be any different, she thought; easy peasy. Granted, she had no idea what this class was going to entail.
Throwing open the door with not so much as a knock, the spry tomboy waltzed right on in. "'Ello,'m.Bleez. I'm.here.for.the.class." She began stretching as she spoke, twisting her upper body from side to side. "What're.we.don'.now?"
A facepalm at her behavior would not be questioned. To be so nonchalant about this whole thing would most likely be her downfall.
"Wa's.with.da.beanbags?"

Jumpy as he was, Cat flew out of his seat when his classroom door was thrown open, head nearly ramming into the ceiling as his wings flapped frantically. Homework flew everywhere, and it was with a small grimace that he fell back into his chair. As frustrated as he was with the young woman, it was against his personal teacher's code to get angry at someone - especially a student - for simply scaring him. So the hippogriff forced a warm smile onto his face as he began picking up the scattered papers.
"Oh, hello there Miss Bleez. You certainly gave me a fright there." He laughed a little humorlessly, but kept the smile on as he set the papers on his desk. "And the beanbags are part of your lesson today. You see, I help teach you spawn your magical talent, and your talent is control over the density of your body." He gestured as he spoke, his smile growing more genuine as he taught. "What I mean by that is you could make yourself as airy as mist or as hard as a diamond, if you practice, that is."
A slightly awkward laugh sounded as Cat picked up the beanbags. This was the part that he was worried about: hucking things at a Wrath kid, let alone a Wrath/Liberality kid. But he tried to sound apologetic and casual as he explained their purpose. "And the beanbags are for testing your density. To put it bluntly, I'm going to throw them at you." He smiled a little pleadingly, hoping that this went over well. "This all make sense?"

Bleez eyed Cat curiously, what a strange person. She shrugged it off, though and listened to her teacher. She looked thoroughly bored until Cat was explaining what density implied.
Bleez threw her hands out, palms flat, and stomped her foot. "Whoa,wait,so.I.can.get...tougher?" She looked at Cat, eyebrow cocked. "How'm.I.gonna.do.that? Do.I.like.say.some.spell.or.somethin'?" She was starting to get excited. Her tail was swaying back and forth rapidly.
"Can.we.start.now?!"

The fierce-looking girl's enthusiasm was comical, and Cat laughed lightly as she bounced about, steadily growing more at ease. Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad after all. He raised a hand to tell her to settle down for the moment. "Hold on just a moment. We'll start in a second, but first I have to tell you what you're supposed to be doing."
"And no, you don't have to say anything, in fact. What you must do is try to do is imagine yourself as the substance you're trying to be like. For example, if you want to become as hard as stone, you'd have to first concentrate and try to vividly imagine what it would feel like. How heavy you would be, how quick you would move, et cetera." Smiling, he turned and grabbed a beanbag. "If that makes sense, I'm certainly ready if you are."
