Crown's body was covered in a thin layer of sweat after his work out. He was panting slightly from the exertion, but the smile he wore proved how happy he was. "Alexander..." He called, his voice harsh sounding due to his panting and sudden sore throat. "....how did it look from up there?" Sure enough his little owl friend came and perched on his rump. He nodded, such a majestic looking movement from the wise creature. "Much better. You're still lowering your guard on your right side though." Crown bit back a curse but nodded; he had been trying so hard to impress the herd protectors Drashi and Maion, but it seemed he still had a while to go. "Let's take a break. We've been at this all morning." Crown didn't regret his dedication at all, but sometimes he did wish he could meet someone new...... his sister and brother were both looking for mates, even if they didn't advertise it he knew them well enough to know that they wanted someone special in their lives. It was a longing that seemed to cling to them. Crown on the other hoof had no idea where his heart would one day lead him, all he knew was that right now he was happy. He enjoyed working out and training, he enjoyed doing odd jobs for the herd and offering support..... but it could get lonely. He felt the weight of Alexander suddenly leave his rump and only then realised he had been lost in a world of his own. He looked around, his hooves had carried him to the common land just beyond those of the Miakoda herd. His mother had brought him here once as a foal to collect blue flowers for his Christening into the herd. Blue flowers had been the food his mother had craved while pregnant with him. He smile at the moment and straight away his eyes looked for some of the rare treat. It didn't take him long to find what he was looking for...... three beautiful blue flowers. A sudden spring in his step as he raced towards them to eat his fill. A well earned treat after a harsh workout.

Rajput wasn't very knowing of the area, so Pavitra hadn't expected him to know of anyone really able to train him. That was mainly why he was just wandering around, trying to perhaps stumble on someone who might know someone.
Wonderful logic, no?
Rajput, always eating, had offered Pavi to go out on his own for the day in his quest and here he was. Walking with no intent or direction, except to talk to strangers. Sheesh.
It was a long walk for Pavitra, and he considered the idea of flying but it quickly turned it down. He preferred to walk much more than soaring. He just... didn't enjoy flying. Almost not at all. That, however, turned out to be a great thing in hind-sight, probably. Or else he wouldn't of felt the thundering of a stallion that soared right past him. Through the trees, he could see the male fly past by, quite a distance away.
This might be what he'd been looking for!
Setting off, Pavitra picked up a fast speed quickly. Speed was his best aspect. He galloped breathlessly towards the male who he could see again, talking to a bird. An owl..? Is that what they're called? Such a weird word. oooow-ll. Hmm.
Slowing, still not revealing himself from the trees, Pavitra considered the idea, for the first time, the male might be dangerous. He sometimes had a hard time remembering not all company is good. He waited, trying to decide whether to approach or simply turn around and skulk back to his pointless searching.

Crown ate the first flower, it has a tang to it that made his face wrinkle up. He smiled as he swallowed it..... his mother had craved these? He knew that not all blue flowers were so bitter, but his mother Renesme Cullen had wanted anything and everything blue..... it hadn't mattered if it was bitter or sweet, spicey or salty, she simply wanted them. How strange...... the theory was that his mother wanted them to aid with the throwback to Scythe and Aethers blue, his great-grandfather and grandfather. He had to agree, his mother was pink and black while his father was green, yet he had a pelt of many colours.
He looked towards his rump, flicking his tail from side to side as he watched the fading rainbow that was his tail. In comparison to his brother and sister he was strange.... but he liked strange. Just as that thought popped into his mind he saw something, something lurking in the trees.
His attention was to it straight away. A white blurr? He was almost positive he saw something. Cautiously he approached, pulling his wings into his body so that he didn't appear threatening. "Hello?" He called out, although he was no longer in his herd lands Crown felt safe enough, and although he knew of the evil that usually lurked in the shadows he had a feeling this was not among them. He tilted his head, trying to get a better look.... had he just imagined it? He stopped short of the tree line and stared into the trees for a long while, simply watching the shadows dance.

By his voice, Pavitra felt safe enough. It was just something you can see through tones and greetings whether you felt in danger or not. And his was rich and friendly enough. Certainly not hostile or threatening.
Emerging, Pavitra bowed his head, exending his wings to his side. He'd seen this a custom between those of who shared the ability to fly, though Pavitra honestly didn't see the appeal. He'd flown maybe twice in his life. At least as an adult. He had to learn when he was young of course.
"Hello... uh, sir." Stupid. This stallion looked like he deserved a title of some sort, but he couldn't muster up any other than a stuttering, generic 'sir'. He was just nervous over requesting such a silly thing. It really does seem odd to approach someone and ask you to train them. He didn't even have a lot of youth or adorablness like a foal would. He was an adult. Barely.
He stood up straight and smiled tentatively.

Crown raised an eyebrow at the strangers actions. Although a lot of the Miakoda herd members had wings he had never witnessed such a greeting before. He looked to his own wings and then tried to copy the action. Bowing his head and spreading his wings out wide before standing tall once more he took in the strangers appearance. Completely white, almost like a ghost. Wings and a unicorn horn and tail. Crown knew that this mix of breeds had a special name, but he couldn't seem to recall that either. Not a good start. He sighed, he still had so much to learn.
Still, he was snapped from his thoughts as the stranger called him sir. "Sir?" He said with a tilt of his head and turned to see if someone was standing behind him. From Crown's estimation he was about the same age at the strange white stallion, and he had never done anything to earn the title of 'Sir'. When he discovered no one behind him he turned to face the white stallion once more and shook his head. "My name is Crown, Crown Cullen. I... eh.... don't think 'sir' suits me." A soft blush found its way onto his cheeks just as he caught the movement of Alexander behind the stranger.
With a blow of air from his nostrils he called out to his owl, "Alexander. Stop." He knew his owl well enough to know that he was likely to attack the stranger for being here uninvited, despite the fact that the Miakoda herd welcomed strangers who didn't intent them harm... and they weren't actually in the herdlands anymore, simply near the border.
Alexander obeyed and flew over to land on his head. Crown growned and his head lowered as the bird covered his eyes for a moment with his wings before he settled himself upon Crown's head. He let out another puff of air. "Sorry about him." He said to the stranger, attempting to smile in comfort but knowing it probably looked more awkward than anything else. "Who are you?" He asked at last.

He'd at first thought that maybe the stallion was talking to him and he jumped slightly, but calmed when the bird soared above them. Oblivious to what the male had said "no" to, Pavi still found the owl. Pavitra had never seen a bird act like that with any one. Was it just him, maybe? It was adorable.
"Er... well, Crown, its a pleasure to meet you. I'm Pavitra." Swishing his tail unconsciously, Pavitra nodded again, another greeting.
The male certainly was curious. Very handsome and very intimidating, he was. Miniture wings were peeking from behind his ears, though his wings looked to be only a little smaller than his own. Small fangs stuck over his bottom lip and he too had faded pupils, though he thought he could see them faintly. Pavitra's were completely invisible, no matter the light. Curious he was. But the bird was what kept drawing his attention.
Glancing up at the bird once every few moments, his curiosity got the best of him. "Is he.. well, yours?" His feathers were quite beautiful. And it matched the stallions so well! It was miraculous. He fluttered his own wings, tilting his head a little, smiling.

Crown smiled and nodded at the stranger, "A pleasure Pavitra." Still, even as he nodded Alexander remained glued to the top of his head.
He blew a strand of hair from his face, causing it to bounce up and hit Alexander for a moment before landing back in place. But the bird did nothing more than dig his claws in a little more. With a sigh Crown gave up.
As the white strangers next question reached his ears Crown found himself nodding, "Indeed. It seems he is rather attached to me..... not much of a talker though I am afraid." In all the time they had spent together Alexander had only spoke a handful of words, and only in insistents where he thought it was important to point something important out to Crown.... which was rare. Instead he was happy to simply remain silent, clawing and scratching his way into Crown's book of irritation. That didn't mean that Crown didn't like his friend, it was nice to have someone always there... everyone around him seemed to be moving on. Eden, Paris.... no longer needed him, were probably leaning on mates instead for all he knew... it wasn't as if they talked to him much.
He missed the past..... growing up seemed to stink.
