Well, for one thing, I am a dork about alot of things. You can get me in a rant about how upsetting it is that the new Star Wars movies are so bad. I am a music dork, and oh yeah, if you go into my room, you'll see several LotR toys, Sun Wu Kong painted on the wall, a Gizmo(from gemlins) life-size doll, several books of newspaper comics (Calivn And Hobbes, The Boondocks etc...) some Spitfire plains hanging from the cieling, as well as several other such things. Most of them are, though dorky, cool in some sort of way. Like the powerpuff girl ornaments hanging on my wall.

Yeah, I usually don't get out very much. When I do, it's always with a very small, tight group of friends. I'm quiet, and a lot of people probably think I'm very boring, because I have a dry, sarcastic kind of humour about me, so, people kind of have to listen closely to get it. (I've been told that, at least, so, I'm not just making it up!)
I'm really into scifi and computers and all this jazz that most people have never heard of, so, no. I'm not a popular kid. But, hey, it works for me. And, you know, concidering that this is a guild for Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo... I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say that we're all probably very, very similar, in this regard.
But, hey. Danny is a proud geek, so, you know what? That's just fine with me. cool

I have a cardboard cutout of all four hobbits (adorned with silly hats, of course), THE SHRINE, posters of Star Wars and NMBC, countless "geek" type books, my music collection (my favorite bands are Boingo, Weird Al, Blue Man Group, and They Might Be Giants. That speaks for itself.), and.. other.. geek stuff. It's a good time. whee
I'm also a band geek, which is a glorious thing!

You know, it's WEIRD and kinda fun how many Boingo fans are also TMBG fans... they really don't have much in common cept they are both "out there." Man... my room... is TOTALLY decked out in Kingdom Hearts stuff, I also have posters/wallscrolls of Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Monty Python, I have this massive Nightmare lava lamp that cost me $75 back in the day from Suncoast, I've a Legend of Zelda KITE up on my wall *yes, a kite. Sadly it will never see the sky, because I don't want anything to happen to it...* And I keep forgetting... I'm 2 days away from being a 26 year old geek xd

Sometimes I wish I had genes like that... unfortunately, I must've altered my own chromosomes, cuz I'm nothing like my parents (what with all the Boingo being IV-ed into me daily)...except for my dad's dry humor. I've been told that my humor is good, because it's not just blaitanly (sp?) funny - you gotta think about it, and know stuff to understand why it's funny. ANYways...I don't really get that, but whatever. I've been told that's a good thing, since a lotta ppl at my school ...try? to be funny, i guess? rolleyes So that makes me normal. Which doesn't make sense. Cuz that really makes me ABnormal. Cuz I'm not like the crowd.
In short, I take pride in being and STAYING a geek. My life would be ruined if I tried to change that. Kinda like the effect of crack - it would ruin me domokun whee
