n a m e: Akiko Sarandon

a g e: 19

z o d i a c - s i g n: Leo

p e r s o n a l i t y: Akiko is relatively a nice person. She likes to joke and laugh. She's friendly and is willing to help others but tends to push people away when she is in need of help. She is secretive. She can be silver tongued if someone crosses her the wrong way.

b i o: Akiko was born in Okinawa, Japan as a half Japanese and half Italian. Her parents then moved to America where she lived through her childhood. During her high school years they moved back to Okinawa, Japan. After graduating she choose to attend Domino City University for continued education. Akiko has had a pretty good life so far, except for one little thing, she was down with a very strong sixth sense. She can hear, see, and sense spirit of all kinds. Some spirits good, some lost, some frightening, some bad. Although she is used to it, it still frightens her. Because of her sixth sense, spirits are also naturally drawn to her.

m a j o r: Education ( K-8 )

c l a s s e s: Ancient Egypt Civilization, Biology 1, College Algebra, and Ceramics.

e x t r a - c u r r i c u l a r : Music group

h o u s i n g : Dorm. The other girl she shares a dorm with is rarely ever there.

j o b : Part time cashier/server at a local cafe named 'Mocha Lounge'. Mocha Lounge is a quiet cafe offering a lounge area with books for customers to read, wifi capabilities, and a television. The place is usually quiet in the afternoon and evening. They are not open late.

o t h e r : She always wears four necklaces: an ankh that is semi hidden underneath her shirt, a catholic cross hidden underneath her shirt, a necklace with a small round mirror attached to it hidden underneath her shirt, and a necklace with two seashell that are closed together- within it is a sprig of rosemary- this is fully exposed as a choker necklace. All of these items are meant to keep away evil spirits. She also keeps a bell in her purse for the same reason. They have no affect on the spirits in the Millennium Items.

n a m e: Katsuya Jonouchi

a g e: 19

z o d i a c - s i g n: Leo

p e r s o n a l i t y: Jonouchi has a big personality- he is loud and energetic. He's a good guy but can get agitated easily. He's proud and loyal. Some who definitely practices 'fight over flight', he also tends to jump the gun.

b i o: After high school, Jonouchi immediately moved out of his abusive father's house and rented a small beat up apartment. It wasn't the best, but it is manageable with the income from his job and child support he receives. His mother comes by from time to time to help him out. She was able to help him get into college- but only as a part time student.

m a j o r: Mechanics

c l a s s e s: Body shop 1, college math

e x t r a - c u r r i c u l a r : None

h o u s i n g : Small run down apartment near the college

j o b : Mechanic in training at a local auto-repair shop

His schedule is as follows (simplified)
Monday and Wednsday @ 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Body Shop 1
Tuesday and Thursday @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM: College Algebra
Tuesday @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Math tutoring
Thursday @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Math tutoring
Monday and Wednsday @ 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Work at Auto shop
Friday, Saturday and Sunday @ 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Work at Auto shop

School work at night time, College Algebra only since working at the auto repair shop is like homework and study already. Though the teacher may assign research material, Jonouchi uses this time at night to do it.
Free time, hanging out with friends, and partying dominated over study/school work time.
Work = Full time
School = Part time

n a m e: Malik Ishtar

a g e: 20

z o d i a c - s i g n: Capricorn

p e r s o n a l i t y: Malik is quiet and keeps to himself. He can get angered easily, he doesn't put up with people's bullshit. He isn't afraid to 'take care' of people. He needs to be in control or it drives him crazy. There is a deep darkness in his soul.

b i o: Malik remembers leaving his home in Egypt to live a free life, but he feels as if he is missing a big part of his memory. Something is telling him that he has forgotten something very important, a big event in his life. He tried to ignore it and go on living his life. In truth, he has in fact forgotten something very important. He has forgotten the evil spirit within his soul, Duelist City, and his vendetta against the Pharaoh. After Marik was dispelled from his body those memories evaporated along with him.

m a j o r: Liberal Arts (World Literature)

m i n o r: Philosophy

c l a s s e s: Ancient Egyptian Civilization, Creative Writing, Psychology, Introduction to Philosophy

e x t r a - c u r r i c u l a r : None, though he reads a lot in the Library.

h o u s i n g : Dorming.

j o b : None at the moment

o t h e r : He no longer keeps the Millennium Rod with him, though that does not prevent Marik speaking to him and taking his body over.

n a m e: Lerena Leigh Helena.

a g e: Nineteen ~ 19.

z o d i a c ~ s i g n: Taurus.

p e r s o n a l i t y: Famous for her temper, Lerena Leigh Helena does have a history of collecting cards and creating decks for the amusement of it. Of her friends, Lerena is the Eccentric Type, motivated by her own eccentric, persistent, and creative behavior. Known quite easily for being self-absorbed and forgetful, not many people see her worth the effort it takes to win her respect, making her prone to holding grudges. Lerena is normally busy with her writing or some other creative outlet, working better alone than in a group (yet she's in one, that makes sense). Despite everything she says she actually does care. A channel surfer, Lerena is also socially awkward, which is why she appears so self-absorbed (in reality her selfish exterior is an attempt to push away people who would judge her). She doesn't show any particular interest in "normal" people, because she is easily hurt by those who criticize her. At times she can be very vengeful and bitchy, but she tries to respect people to atone for her past crimes. Those that are in her way, however, suffer from her twisted, deranged psychopathic nature.

b i o: After years of torture, blood, guts, and gore, the mind games from the Natsuki Clan stopped, thanks to Lerena finally killing them all off. A few months later, she began her first semester of university. Lerena applied for a job as an advice columnist to help others with problems similar to hers, and perhaps some she has no experience in dealing with. But she has a flaw. She is downright horrible with math. Even basic computation will take her ages without a calculator, because she is a huge perfectionist, having to write down every number perfectly. Her handwriting obsession is so severe, she often spends time with a disabilities counselor and a math tutor. Her social skills are next to none, especially with men, as she does at first appear to be sexist. To most men, however, she just appears hard-to-get.

j o b: She works at an adult bookstore on Saturdays and beta tests for Kaiba Corp's virtual reality simulator on Sundays. Mondays and Fridays are for working on her advice column while Wednesdays are devoted to writing and other schoolwork.

o t h e r: Her tutoring in math happens before class every Tuesday as does her therapy sessions. Her jobs are used as a coping mechanism for her serious problems. She's a frequent user of Kaiba Corp's virtual simulator, which she is allowed to use thanks to Mokuba's generosity and understanding. But as payment, Kaiba wants her to test new virtual technology for the system. Also thanks to Mokuba's kindness, and Kaiba's obligations, she is paid for it, but only at minimum wage.

Yuugi Mutou - Takes College Algebra, Biology 01, Business Management. Works at his grandfather's card shop, which is also his home. He's taking three classes so he has more time to make sure Jounouchi doesn't kill himself with responsibility. He has a major in business as he plans to take over his grandfather's shop after he dies.

Atemu/Yami - Former Egyptian pharaoh, somehow still here, yada yada yada. Also plays card games amazingly well and is overly self-righteous. He thinks he's always right. Better and more appropriate profile coming...sometime.

[[OOoo Psychology :3. I may change Akiko's classes to add Bio in there somewhere. And I will add info for Malik and Jonouchi.]]

The sound of a motorcycle ripping could be heard throughout Domino City. Malik swerved through the lanes on his bike, passing everyone gracefully and without fear. Nothing beat the feeling of him on his bike, he felt completely free. It was exactly how he thought it would feel when he lived back in Egypt. Now that he was living alone Japan- free to go where ever he pleased he was much more at ease. Malik lived in the apartments within the city, his sister helped him pay for rent. For some reason, she wasn't so against his leaving anymore. He didn't question it, he was satisfied with it. The bike soon traveled to the campus of Domino City University. His sister had suggested that he take classes there- lengthen his knowledge. It sounded boring.... but a little interesting. He never went to a school before- he was taught at home. And what he was taught were simple basics. Malik furthered his own education through books. Once parked he took off his helmet and straightened out his hair. He got off of his bike and placed the helmet on the back of the back seat.

Akiko sat in the solar lounge on one of the couches. The lounge was a place for people to chat, hang out, study, or even play games. Akiko brought her legs up so she was curled up on the couch comfortably. She was finishing writing something in a black and white marble notebook. This, however, was not an assignment for her classes- this was more personal. Not a diary, but a journal of events one could say. Once she finished she put it away in her bag and stretched out a little. It was nice going to a school where you can where normal clothing instead of uniforms. She had done that all her life until Junior and Senior year in a high school in Okinawa. It was annoying. She preferred being comfortable in her own clothing. She looked up at the clock, still wasn't time to go to her class. So she took out her Ancient Egyptian Civilization notes and began to reread them over. It was interesting, but hard. it wasn't like Ancient Greek Civilization which was a little easier to grasp onto. She had to take one ancient culture class for her major, she had to choose the one that was harder..... of course. She sighed and folded her legs off to the side comfortably as she propped her head onto her hands, elbow to the arm of the couch. She liked to study, but it was only so much before she became bored with it. Akiko scouted the room with her eyes. The normal.... which to her was pleasant to see.

Jonouchi had already finished his automotive class and he had no other classes today. He had work later on, so he was killing time with his friend in the solar lounge. Yuugi had class in a while, so to pass time they started playing a game. Leave to his friend to bring a game with him, well, then again he knew he would be here with him. This time, he had with him a portable backgammon set. Jonouchi wasn't the greatest at the game, he just wasn't that great at predicting his opponents moves. Rather, he was more interested in what his own next move would be. They were 3/4s through the game and Jonouchi was now stuck and.... well..... screwed. He sat there taking forever to try and figure out away around the obstacle that was in front of him. "You.... you are a very sneaky person..... you know that right?" he said to Yuugi for the umpteenth time.

"Stop going so damn fast!!!!" Lerena screamed at the top of her lungs. Her adopted brother Dante stopped his motorcycle near the general vicinity Malik was in and blinked at her innocently. "You son of a b***h!" She got off the motorcycle after him, grabbing onto one of the parking rails for motorcycles. "I feel so light-headed..."

"I was only going 40 miles per hour. You have no guts nor a sense of adventure, you wimp." he remarked with a snicker. "Oh, s**t!" Her sister's hand was lifted and she smacked him hard across the face. "Oh, and, my mom is dead. Don't taunt me!"

"She pulled on his ear. You are the son of a b***h. Deal with it, moron." Lerena retorted. She face-palmed and sighed. "Just go to class."

"Hey, don't use profanity! These are school grounds!" Dante was only working to annoy Lerena of course. He never cared about the rules on any school campus. "I'll go to class when you stop pulling on my ear."

She pulled it harder.

"This is why no one asked you to prom..." explained Dante, irritated. "Just let go of me!" He smacked her hand away from his ear. "You asked to know what it was like being on a motorcycle. Now you know. With your luck, you'll fall for someone whose main transportation is a motorcycle."

She raised her hand again, small bolts of electricity illuminating from her finger tips. "And with your luck, you'll fall for a demon from the depths of Hell."

"It's illegal to slap people where I live." Dante pointed out, dodging her blow.

"It's illegal to think like a douche bag where I live."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Stop there. We're making a scene." He had apparently noticed Malik when Lerena just assumed he didn't care what was going on.

"Then leave! Quit wanting the last word!"

"Bye, power whore!" said Dante. He started walking off, all too amused with himself.

"I will get my revenge!"

"You've already gotten it!" Dante shouted back. "And your inhumanly heavy bag will give me stomach scars!"

Before she could respond, Dante was out of earshot and wouldn't be able to hear her anyway. She sighed. "b***h. I'll get you next time." she muttered under her breath. She chained up Dante's motorcycle, unaware that Malik may have actually listened to the entire argument. Maybe. As far as she knew, she hadn't met her roommate yet, though she heard he was a man. Awkward. The lock snapped on and she sat against the motorcycle, pulling out a small bottle of water to drink. She was careful not to push it over as she did have some experience in avoiding clumsiness.

((Dante is a filler character used mostly for my introduction, but he might come back in later.))

"I'm not sneaky; you're just lazy." remarked Yuugi. He took the final move, winning yet again. "That brings me to 352 wins and for you 1." He laughed. It was funny to joke around with his friend. Though he was still a bit shy, Yuugi managed to become more open and less of a complete wimp over the years. One could blame his numerous wins in a children's card game, but perhaps it's the fact he's actually been through some pretty messed up crap. "Up for Battleship, Jounouchi?" Yuugi asked. "We have time for one more game."

Malik heard a motorcycle in the distance, then get louder and louder. Looks like he wasn't the only one who came to college riding a bike. Not that he was interested, but he watched as the two bickered. Rather dark speak for girlfriend and boyfriend, brother or sister? Friends? It didn't matter. When the guy walked away from her Malik finished chaining up his own bike. It wasn't any of his business, though he guessed it was rather amusing. Malik started walking to class, he didn't see the girl ahead of him, she must still be back there.

Jonouchi crossed his arms in a fake pout as he lost. "No.... I'm pretty sure you are just sneaky," he said as a joke. He then playfully glared at him when Yuugi gave his fake win count, ".... ok I can't disagree with that, haha. Battleship? Hell yea you bet!"

"You sunk my battleshiiiiiiiiiip," Akiko said in a small murmur mainly to herself as she continued to look over her notes. This could not be helped, someone mentions Battleship you must say that line. No matter the situation. Kinda like when someone says 'Mortal Kombat' you must instantly scream 'MORTAL KOMBAT!' and sing part of the melody to the song. She didn't even know who said it, she was mainly focused on the notes before her.

[[male roommate as in Malik? I can change his profile if you want]]

Lerena made her way down the hall towards her Psychology class. It was hard, but she loved the subject. Yet she had a feeling she would fail if she wasn't good enough to keep up with the work. She walked into the classroom and sat down at an empty desk, assuming no one would sit by her like usual. The professor was apparently not there yet so she was early. She took out a book on astrology profiles, which focused more on personality than silly horoscopes. There was a section full of them, but she basically taped sheets of paper to those pages so they'd have good advice like, "Don't run into a car, depressing b***h." or something obscene like that. On December 23rd, she had written that it was the only decent day left before Christmas destroyed her like a bowl of rotten yams; weird comparison, but she enjoyed freaking herself out with her own descriptive imagery. Right now she was reading on the relationship compatibility between Taurus and Capricorns.

((That was the plan. Of course, I posted before seeing your updated profiles. xD))

Yuugi laughed. He loved it when people said that, but he wasn't really sure where it came from; the Internet, he guessed. He started battleship, which put the ships in randomized places so the players could not cheat and know where every piece was. It had cooler graphics than the original Battleship. He preferred the original but wasn't quite sure where it was. There was no problem starting up the video game version, though it was larger and more complicated. There were twelve ships on a 20 by 20 grid. Yuugi picked B12 for his first move. He missed.

[[I changed it to fit your post- I think it would be interesting and push Malik out of his comfort zone OwO

Let's cause trouble]]

It was ok that Malik was early to class- more time to read. He entered into his Psychology class seeing only a few people. He saw the girl from earlier. How interesting. He took the seat behind her, for no particular reason really. He didn't know anything about her or her reputation- so he didn't fear her like some of the other students. And even if he did know, he still would fear her. He was quite capable of handling himself. He went through his bag to find his book- a collection of Edgar Allen Poe's short stories and poems. He left off on the poem Lenore.

Ah, broken is the golden bowl! the spirit flown forever!
Let the bell toll! -a saintly soul floats on the Stygian river -
And, Guy De Vere, hast thou no tear? -weep now or never more!
See! on yon drear and rigid bier low lies thy love, Lenore!
Come! let the burial rite be read -the funeral song be sung! -
An anthem for the queenliest dead that ever died so young -
A dirge for her, the doubly dead in that she died so young.

Malik stopped and thought. He should have taken European history instead of Ancient Egyptian Civilization, Poe's references may be a little bit more easier for him.

Jonouchi smiled when Yuugi missed, "Ah ha! Luck is on my side this time Yuug!" Jonouchi picked A7, and missed. "Damnit all..." he murmured.

A group of college students entered the solar lounge and looked around. The head of the group; a guy with black hair off to one side, a tight black long sleeve shirt, black pants, and a red ascot, stepped a head of the group and looked around the solar lounge. "Ok people! Let's move! We have a lot to do!" he said to his group as they started to move things in the solar lounge. Him and one of his buddies started to move the table that Yuugi and Jonouchi were using.

"Woah woah woah! What are you doing?!" Jonouchi said to the two as he stuck his foot in front of the table leg preventing it from moving. "We're PLAYING here. Do you mind?!" he said pointing out the obvious.

The head of the group flunh his head back and said, "Well didn't you hear me before? We have a lot to move around here. We don't have time for little kids like you."

"Listen buddy," Jonouchi said as he stood up and started to approach the guy.

"Uh uh uh. That is Vinard to you," he said pointing out that he had a name.

"What ever. We don't mind moving but don't act like a little snuck snob and move things on us!" Jonouchi complained to him.

Akiko looked up along with other students who heard Vinard and his group enter in the solar lounge. Wait... they looked familiar.... oh. "Ugh.... the theater group....." she mumbled lowly to herself. They were just a bunch of drama prone snobs. How did she know? They were always causing trouble for the music group. Akiko grabbed her stuff and packed up. As she started to walk away she said loud enough for Vinard and his group to hear, "Uh oh! The theater group are here! And there aren't enough rotten tomatoes to throw!"

Vinard looked up at Akiko when she said that and pointed at her, "You wouldn't know talent if it slapped you in the face!"

Akiko turned around and looked at Vinard. As she walked backwards she put the side of her fist to her face and made a crying gesture, "Awwww cry more theater freak...." And with that she left the solar lounge. She wasn't going to put up with there assery, or their bad acting.

((Let us cause trouble indeed. I'm going to have some fun. Lerena needs a college rival, but someone who isn't worth killing.))

Kirsty Stickler walked into the room, looking at Lerena. "I knew it was you, freak." she remarked. 'So, tell me, how are they?"

"What are you doing here?! I told you to leave me alone!"

She chuckled. "Did it hurt?" she asked, smirking.

"Does your brain tumor hurt? I do truly sympathize." remarked Lerena sarcastically.

She snatched the book from Lerena's hand. "Taurus/Capricorn compatibility...they only seek high quality mates. You're best suited to slavery. Give up on love, b***h."

"I am high quality." Lerena pointed out.

Kirsty scowled. "No, you're not. Your body is hideous. It was destroyed a long time ago by the scars."

"I heard your mom tried to get an abortion around the general time you were born."

"Look, we may be in the same class, but I have noble blood. I'm better than you." Kirsty explained. "And furthermore, no one would love you anyway. You have no skills worth a damn." She handed the book back. "But whatever, keep fantasizing, slut."

"Is that what your mother tells you when you beg her to pay your child support?"

"I don't have a child, my mother is dead, and I am definitely not a slut. By the way, the Raven said 'Nevermore'."

"So did your boyfriend when he dumped you."

"You're no fun to degrade anymore. What the hell?! You're supposed to suffer for your crimes, b***h!"

"Karma's a b***h, and so am I. Does that make me karma?"

"You've been taking lessons from HER haven't you?"

"No, I took lessons from your face. Now go away before I make you."

"You know, I bet you're still horribly weak. How would you defeat me without your powers?"

"The same way I defeated Justin; by ripping the heart out of your goals, tearing apart your reputation's guts, degrading the lifeless brain within your skull, and shrouding myself in darkness so I can't be seen."

"Oh, my god...you didn't..." said Kirsty, looking frightened for once.

"A lot has happened since Middle School, Kirsty." Electricity glided between her middle and right marriage finger, wrapping around her hand from the middle of her palm.

"Was it worth all that? Darla, she's...what happened to wanting love, peace, and happiness?!"

"Myths. All of them." Lerena remarked.

"And I suppose you're giving up then? On being my rival? I can't fight an apprentice of Darla's."

"She's more than just a tutor, Kirsty. Things have gotten that bad."

"So she's helping you improve your magic as well?"

"Beat it."

"You're different." Kirsty remarked. "But why?"

"Yes, Kirsty. It hurt. A lot. It still hurts. Now go. away." she said firmly.

"I've lost respect for you. I thought you were a good person." Kirsty walked away and sat down in the back of the classroom to speak with her friends, the other two in the room besides Lerena and Malik until she walked in.

Lerena put her book up. She didn't feel like reading anymore. Another good thirty minutes before class. Maybe she should try talking to that guy. She looked at Malik for a moment, really worried about him. He was subjected to all of that and he had no reason to be. Should she apologize? No. That was Kirsty's job. She started it. But wasn't that hypocritical? She starts arguments sometimes. Oh, whatever. She realized that her eyes were resting on the book he was reading. Did Kirsty intend to stir Malik's attention to the argument by quoting the Raven or just insulting the fact she has schizophrenia? This worried her.

What was Kirsty's intentions? True they existed as rivals, but Kirsty was still a stuck-up b***h. She feigned pity, letting it linger over your head whenever she would betray you. And then, when you were at your worst, she dropped a chandelier on your head; it was the aching feeling of losing everything when Kirsty betrayed you. Not everyone fell for her ravenous trap, just the weak-willed. She used to be that way, but then s**t happened. Thinking it best not to reflect on it too much, she redirected her attention to the door. Nothing was interesting there.

"Let's just go to class now, Jounouchi. I have Business management in fifteen minutes, so I'll see you after class." Yuugi was irritated so he headed for the door. He wouldn't take this garbage and he really preferred Jounouchi didn't either. But the man could handle himself. This was college. It was a more lenient, yet more structured environment full of people who were supposed to be more mature now. And Vinard was breaking all hope he had for Jounouchi to succeed in college. On second thought, he should probably stay here and make sure Jounouchi didn't start a fist fight with Mr. Flamboyant Spotlight.

Malik didn't take notice in the new girl walking in, or anybody at that, until the new girl started blabbing. What any annoying voice, it turned his stomach a little. He couldn't ignore the conversation, they were right there arguing. He only glared up at Kirsty when she quoted The Raven. One, he thought she was directing it at him, but when he saw she wasn't looking at him he discarded that notion. Second, it annoyed him she used the quote. Kirsty looked like someone that knew nothing of Poe, of literature, or of anything like that. Just another mindless twit. He looked back down, trying to read the poem but the distraction caused him to read the same line over and over again. How annoying. Though they were both arguing- Kirsty started it and her voice was obnoxious, Lerena's wasn't. Toward the end he was gripping his book in annoyance, if he let go he felt he would freak out at the girl. But then she left, that was it. Malik kept his eyes on his book and said, "That c**t talks too much...." He said it mainly to himself but loud enough so people in the general area could hear him- Lerena probably could but not Kirsty and her friends. Whatever, who cares, even if they did hear him what were they going to do? He'd like to see them try to 'put him in his place'.

Akiko left the building and started walking to her ceramics class. Leave it to drama freaks to ruin the vibe. She didn't get it, the theater group in her high school was great- very open general nice people. She gets to college here and they all have their thumbs up their asses. They caused problems for everyone from what she heard- but especially the music group. Their are different theories why- some say they are simply jealous because the music group is much more talented. Some say because the music group gets more attention - they are more recognized. Maybe they were jealous because the music group was people friendly, always putting on events to entertain people. Or maybe, just maybe, it was a turf battle and the theater group felt they 'deserved' the practice room more. It bothered her, why couldn't people just get along? Oh well, s**t happens. She was sure things would be ok in the end. She entered her ceramic class and waited for the introduction from the teacher.

"Yea, you're right Yuug. This place is reeking of snobs now anyway," Jonouchi said trying to be a bit more mature then usual. However that didn't stop him from making a quick gesture forward towards Vinard then stopping short to startle the guy- which it did in fact startle Vinard. Jonouchi walked away out of the solar lounge but pointed at Vinard, "You better watch it punk. Keep acting like that and nobody will even want to come near you let alone watch you!"

Vinard growled as Jonouchi had the last word. How dare he..... how dare he! His friend and him, leaving as if nothing important was about to happen! They disobeyed him, they didn't listen and now they were judging his talent! He would show them, he would show them the talent he possessed! And that girl, she knew who they were and yet she insulted them just like that! He had seen her before..... but where?

[[I'll be making some schedules up soon ^ ^']]

"That's all she does. She really isn't worth your time. My enemy, your annoyance. I'll deal with her." Lerena commented back. She didn't look back to the man who spoke, just in case awkwardness would ensue. With a glance towards Kirsty, it was all she could manage before picking up a few insults about Poe. She bit her lip furiously. How dare they! Her favorite poet shouldn't be trash-talked that way! Kirsty never appreciated literature, preferring to enact her dramatic scenes without fail. She was apart of the Theater Group. Of course, her talent was recognized right away. The drama group always accepted the best, but that was their flaw. When Lerena went to sign up, the pack of elitist dipshits managed to change her opinion to join.

Kirsty yawned obnoxiously. "Terra, I am so bored. Bitches don't know their place around here."

She giggled childishly. "So, who's the hottest guy in Theater?"

"Definitely Vinard. He has talent enough for all of us."

"Hm, he has talent, but I wouldn't say that."

Kirsty laughed. "Who's the worst person in school so far?"

Terra laughed too. "I really do not know. Music group sucks. They know nothing about true music."

"No. Their music is good, but they hog the practice room."

"I actually like the extra time not practicing." said Terra.

"You do? Why? We never get any publicity. I was born to shine on the stage of life! I was born to be the best with the best."

Yuugi managed to find his Business Management class quite easily. He walked in. Kaiba was in there, of course, but he didn't show any particular interest in his entrance. He sat down at his desk.

[[OH SHIIIII- s**t just got real with this theater group]]

Malik put the book down for a moment and looked directly at Lerena, "She is really taking this class? She has to be dealt with the whole semester?" he said still low enough for the c**t head to not hear. For some strange reason, Malik was under the impression that he would be in classes with relatively smart and mature people. Just because he missed out on high school doesn't mean he wanted to live the stupidity. No, nobody can get along with everyone, but some people just need to be put in their place.

The psychology teacher walked into the room as more and more students filled the chairs. He was an older man, probably around his 50's, tall but bulky, yet not fat. He had graying hair on the top of his head though it was still full, as well as a graying short beard and mustache. He wore the usual teacher clothing- a dress shirt, tie, and dress pants. He also wore glasses and a wrist watch. Overall, the man looked like he was a decent guy, probably very understanding and homey. "Alright everyone, take your seats. Look, this isn't high school anymore so I don't assign seats to anyone. I will not move you, unless it is out of this class room. You are hear to learn and most of you payed to be here- don't make me kick you out. OTHERWISE, this is an easy class to follow and I hope you find it interesting. Hey, brighten up, you don't have to do any math equations or anything like that. BUT! You will have to write one term paper. But just one. Common, don't belly ache!" the teacher said to his class as he took out his material and started to call names for attendance.

[[I'm thinking the psych teacher is going to be an awesome guy. hmmmm *personal experience* Sorry if you intended otherwise! I can edit if you like. I think we should be able to control every teacher we create. I guess just a little time in class and then a time skip?]]

Students filled into the business classroom and so did a familiar face. Vinard. That was why he was in a rush, he had to set up the room for the other members of theater class. So what if he isn't there? After class he can go back. Or maybe he can even cut class short. Speaking of short, he saw a familiar face. That boy, star head, the one with the loud mouth friend. How quaint. He could have so much fun playing with him. And it would be easy. After all, he was an actor. He walked up to Yuugi and said, "You know..... back there. Well, I'm sorry. I was a real jerk back there. I was just in a rush and under panic mode. I had to make sure my group was ready to practice before I went to class," Vinard said to Yuugi. He put the side of his fist to his mouth and looked off to the side, "God you know, I feel horrible about it. You don't have to accept my apology. But I did want you to know that I do apologize to you and your friend...... who isn't here. So, if you could at least pass that on." The kid looked like a sucker for sure, he'd buy it. Vinard was awfully convincing, he was indeed a good actor. "Could I.... sit next to you?" he asked after a moment of silence.

Akiko's teacher came in, a woman who seemed younger then her real age (probably around 37ish). She wore fancy yet comfortable clothing, she was thin and had straight shoulder length hair. She seemed nice, but demanding. That was fine to Akiko- this was college after all. The teacher went over the agenda and tools they would need. The first half of class revolved around note taking. Even though she was concentrated, Akiko thought in the back of her mind how happy she was. Normally, back in Okinawa in High School, classes weren't this smooth and undisturbed. Known only to her, Akiko could sense other spirits- ghosts and such. Okinawa is actually filled with wondering spirits due to the bomb that was dropped in WWII. She would always sense them during classes, wondering aimlessly and confused. She has sensed close to no ghost ever since she moved to the dorms. Of course there will always be some, no matter where she went. But it wasn't as condensed as Okinawa.

((It's actually nice to have a different variety of professors. I imagine my Psychology professor to be the same way when I finally get to that point. I'll be the Creative Writing teacher.

EDIT: Yes. Class should end in a couple posts.))

She folded her hands on the desk in front in front of her. This teacher seemed cool. She could get along with him. Lerena couldn't help but snicker at his small joke. It was amusing because it was like he was talking directly to her. The term paper, however, wouldn't be so bad. Sure it would be hell to write, but that was part of the university experience. So was love. Pff, love. She felt sorry for the next b*****d to ask her out. It wasn't like dating her was a luxury ride.

When the teacher walked in, Kirsty and Terra masked their disgusted faces with a small smile. They did intend to take this class after all, so behaving was of the utmost importance. Education was important for both of them, despite how stupid they both acted. In fact, their maturity during class, work, and other civilized settings made them all the more vicious. Oh, how she loathed Lerena. But the both of them often did put their rivalry aside for the problem at hand. Kirsty was an enemy, not a fool. Most of her behavior was well-rehearsed; the way she treated Lerena was not.

It was that fateful day in sixth grade that the two girls became enemies. The b***h was paired up with her for a Biology dissection project. Not only was she overly squeamish, they both failed the project because she was also squeamish! Come seventh grade, she was greatly pleased to see Lerena punished for her crime. It was bloody, graphic, and disgusting. She nearly fainted, but she held her ground to see the girl wounded, both internally and physically.

Something was different about Lerena though. A glimpse of darkness was seen in her eyes as they argued. Her eyes seemed like those of a twisted murderer disguised as an innocent. Her comebacks had gotten better. No longer did she cringe and twist around at every comment that criticized her. Darla didn't teach those comebacks to her. They came naturally, that much she knew. So, what was Darla teaching that conniving woman?

Yuugi was naive, not stupid. He was a drama king, likely faking his apology. But the other seats filled quickly, and to be fair, Yuugi didn't want to stoop down to his level. "Fine." said Yuugi. "Don't cause trouble." he requested.

A tall business woman with dark skin and her hair pulled back into a bun walked into the room wearing a dark blue business suit. Her brown eyes surveyed the faces of her students. "Greetings, class. If you're here, I assume you're prepared for some work. This isn't an easy class. Some of you will fail, others will become extremely successful. If you want to manage a business, the customer is always right. Know what you're selling and know your policies. Be able to price things properly, draw in customers, and bring in the revenue. Learn how to keep your works and satisfy your customers. This is a class that you can't master in just one semester or even your entire college career. This class prepares you for the truth; some will succeed, most will fail. I will teach you about a successful company, but if what you're selling doesn't interest anyone, or if you're in the middle of a desert, no one will care about your business."

"Make no mistake. Even if you become successful, there is always the possibility you will fall under. Want to succeed? Work hard, extremely hard." The woman pulled down a projector screen, then projected an image from her computer. "This is a note-taking class, but it also involves heavy teamwork. A business cannot be successful because of one person. It doesn't work that way. I will put you all into groups of four. Your job for the semester is to come up with a business that will succeed. Remember to state your sources and do some good research. Really know your product."

[[Psych teachers are normally pretty awesome. And sure no prob ^ ^]]

Malik put his book away and listened. He forced a small smile when the teacher joked. Not that he didn't like the man, he just was very serious during classes. It was a habit, ever since he was a child learning time was serious time. But he admitted, the teacher seemed like a nice guy. He doubt he would have any problems with him. He brought out a notebook, ready to take down notes.

When the teacher finished calling attendance and marking who was in and out he then said, "My name is Professor Laver. I have a degree in psychology and I am currently a behavioral cognitive therapist. Since this is more of an introductory class, we will be going over general psychology, a little bit of history of psychology, different branches of study, and touch basis on different disorder groups." He then handed out the syllabus for the semester and went over it. "Let's work on an exercise today, I want everyone to get into a group of four. Once you are in your groups I will pass out this paper with the directs so you can refer back to it. Everyone will write down their own answers. And please, make it as legible as possible and I will try my best to keep my handwriting for you guys as legible as possible. ANYWAY, there are three questions for everyone to share and write down," he said taking a moment to catch his breath. "The first question is easy, why did you choose to be in this class? You can be honest- if you only took it to get the credits you won't hurt my feelings. Second question is do you believe people are born with certain personality trait wired into them or are all of their personality traits taught? Don't worry if your answer is correct or not, we will be going over some theories when it comes to personality- these are just warm up questions. I want to see how much you know and what you think. The final question is, why do you think we dream and what do dreams mean? Make sure to answer both questions in that sentence. We will go over dream interpretation during the semester as well as Fraud's Book of Dream Interpretations. Now make groups of four, if there is an odd amount of people then we will have one group of three," he said and waited for his students to form groups.

Group work? Ughhhh he hated group work..... Why did he have to share his answers with other people? That wasn't a way of learning. His person's skills were lacking, there was no second guessing that. He looked around and saw people forming their own groups- as if they were predetermined. Malik just sat there, scowling at the idea. Who the hell was he supposed to group with?

Vinard put both his hands up and smiled closing his eyes, "You got it. And thanks." Vinard took the seat next to Yuugi and brought out his notepad waiting for the teacher. He didn't pay anymore mind to Yuugi- just so he wouldn't think he was brown nosing him. But he waited, he waited for the opportunity. And like that, one came his way. Group work? Perfect. Yes, he would show him. His talents stretched far beyond the stage. Vinard was a genius, yes he was. And he would show those who thought otherwise- who lived just to bring him down. If luck is on his side, he would be paired with Yuugi, after all, he is right next to him. He would show him that he was talented and that he was nothing.

[[Nothing for Akiko yet cause I'm having a brain fart lol. Her class is normally 2 hours long. But today she will get out when everyone else gets out]]

((Just a note, I know nothing about Business Management. I figured since Yuugi's grandpa runs a card shop, he'd be interested in taking over after he died, thus why I picked Business Management for him. I, however, have no knowledge of the subject so I won't go into much detail in that class. When it comes to Creative Writing, I can actually start some stuff there. In any case, I'll have Yuugi group up with...Vinard, Kaiba, and Renoko.))

As usual, no one paired with her. She counted the people who were present with her eyes. Twenty-two. Would Professor Layer decide to make two groups of three instead? Hopefully not. She just wanted paired up with someone who wouldn't judge her. As he passed out sheets of paper, she wrote down her answers as briefly as possible. After class, she would have time to speak with the teacher about her accommodations.

She chose the class out of interest and for her minor, number one. Number two, personality traits form based on the environment, experiences, and talents of each individual. Some traits are inherited, but most are entirely dependent on the resources and treatment they receive as a child. Finally, we dream to cope, collect, and organize ideas in our brain. She explained how dreams reminded her of her goals, fears, and desires, then stopped writing. When she finished working, she grabbed her arms and dug her fingernails into her flesh. This was a way she coped with stress and anger. It calmed her down to feel some sort of pain that wasn't too severe or excessive. She had no idea how to find anyone to group with, because no one liked grouping with her.

Luckily, Kirsty was all set, with a group of three students around her to work with. She watched Lerena nervously scan the room for a partner. None of her friends were in this class. Perfect. The girl would be squirming and drenched in tears before the class was over. Heh heh heh.

Kaiba was immensely interested in why Yuugi would be taking this class, as he had no idea of how businesses were actually run. His grandfather's pathetic little shop could be bought out by him in an instant. It was a few minutes before the teacher told them to pick their groups and discuss their project. He spoke Yuugi's name dryly, "Yuugi," said Kaiba, "Naturally, we should be in a group together, as all these other dweebs are not worth my time."

Renoko surveyed the room as people got together. She wanted people who were serious about their work, so she approached Kaiba and Yuugi. "May I join the...three of you?" asked Renoko. Her voice was low, a bit uninterested in Vinard He had a stench similar to Justin, which sparked her hatred right off the bat. True, she could tell the man was a different existence all on his own, but why change her opinion the two were alike?

"Er, yea, sure." said Yuugi to Renoko. The way she spoke was rather discomforting, but she seemed interested in the project. If she was in this class, surely she had the intention to pass it. Not many women took interest in business. Why was she interested in grouping with them?
