I haven't really heard a lot about the kind of songs you mentioned, but I think I'll look up those bands. If you want something epic, get a few anime theme songs... contrary to how stupid so many of these ani-fags make them look on Gaia, there are some really good ones. Of course, if you don't like that, there's always Cradle of Filth. A lot of their songs actually do sound really epic.
On a side note magnum, Dimmu Borgir's "Progenies of the Greath Apocalypse" was a really good song.
I have heard some anime theme songs. My callsign alone implies that I am an anime fan of some type and that I therefore have a knowledge of many songs.
razz On that note I am in love with the themes from Tokyo Underground, Melody of Oblivion and the Black Cat TV series. Those are very epic. A shame because the shows themselves are...muh. At best.
I couldn't get into Cradle of Filth. I heard one of their songs...I think it was "Her Face In The Fog" and, well, the lead singer sounds like some kind of goblin king. Maybe I'll hear another one and that'll change my mind.
