Gardening stores were always so sparse in the wintertime. Maybe because there was hardly anything that grew in the winter, at least around here. It was a good thing too, as it would be awkward enough with what Mizu had come here to get for her odd little daughter and her sister. She currently had Lucina on her back, carrying her through the store. The girl seemed lackluster, as if she wasn't feeling her best.
It was odd how heavy the girl seemed to be. Well, maybe heavy wasn't the right term. More of oddly distributed. Then again Mizu was not that used to carrying small children with bulky tails, but that was just her.
"Mama, there still no sun. Luci hungry..." the small girl whined, though her voice was warbled and weak.
Mizu frowned. "I know sweetie, that's why we came to the garden store, to find an indoor sun to use when there is no sun outside."
She peered down the current hall of items. "I don't see any here...Kit? Have you found them yet?" she asked.

"No not yet," replied Kit. Though to be quite honest she wasn't quite sure where to start looking.
"You feeling alright Mel?" She asked looking at the little girl trudging along behind her. She had her hand wrapped in the fuzzy tuft of hair on the tip Kit's tail.
"Hungry too," Melanie whined. She sounded tired and and weak like her sister.
"Mizu, maybe we should ask someone that works here. I don't know where to look for it."

Since Lori had come to live with Val and her family. She had fell in love with the garden that was outside of her room and even more so when she learned in cooking school that there are some foods that can be grown in the ground and she didn't know that or something that she didn't remember in her early years as those were fuzzy.
Walking into the gardening store as she looked around to what she wanted to see and found that there wasn't much, but she was just right now planning out what she wanted and get a few things from the last time she was here to get ready for the planting season in the spring. As she was nearing to the part of the store she wanted to get to she saw the cute girls and there guardians and they did look a little confused and Lori always like to be helpful as it was in part becasue of her virtue and she liked to do it any ways. Even with it being cold outside Lori was still not wearing much to others standers but warmly for herself.
"Is there anything that I can help you with?" Lori asked once she had gotten close to them all and did a little squeeing of her own when she saw how cute the girls were and wondered to why they didn't look so good but she had kept those thoughts to herself and smiled and so did her tummy mouth Lore.

Mizu looked at the girl who had come to speak with them. It didn't look like she worked here persay, but she was offering help, so it was better then nothing, right? Maybe she frequented the shop a lot.
"Yes, if you could," she said before re-adjusting the weight of the toddler on her back to stop her from sliding off. "You see, these girls need sun to sustain energy, but it's been cloudy for a few days so..."
She was interrupted by another sickly moan from Lucina, and thus Kit would need to ask the actual question, seeing as Mizu went back to tending to the small child

"Um yeah. we need to find some sun lamps for the girls... OH GOSH!" Kit began to fret. "Where are my manners
I'm Kit and this is here on my tail is Melanie.That's Mizu and Lucina over there... and I don't think I caught your name. Anyway if you could help us out that would be great."
Kit reached back and started stroking Mel on top of her head. Mel just sighed and scooted closer to Kit. She seemed shy around this new person.

Still smileing as she had gotten over her squeeing of how cute the girls were and she did know where the sun lamps were, as she had gotten one for her plants the other day since it had been still cloudy. "Well I'm Lori and this is Lore and its nice to meet you all too," she replied kindly as she gave her tummy mouth a pat and which it gave her had a lick. "I do know where those are located as they arn't too far from here," she added as she pointed in the drection of were they were but started to walk that way too as it was no problem as the girls were just so cute and she could not help them out. It didn't take them long to get there and there was even some of the light out and running to show people how the looked and such.

"Oh good, they have one going..." Mizu sighed with relief as she sat Lucina down in one of the artificial sun beams. This seemed to make the girl feel much better as she smiled and curled up like a cat in the sun.
"Thanks so much Miss Lori," she said with a smile, finally able to hold out her hand to shake the spawns.
"By the way, if you don't mind me asking, are you from the Seven of Seven labs?"

Mel took up a spot in the light next to her sister. She sighed a little and tried to sprawl out in the beam of light as much as she could. Looked like she might just fall asleep like that, right there on the floor of the store.
Kit couldn't help but smile a little seeing that Mel was already starting to feel better. She now turned her attention to the girl that had been so kind as to help them out.
