Osiris Academy.
Generations upon generations of student have come here to become the best that they can be. There is a hierarchy that runs the school. They are the student council, but are formally known as “the Azure Guard”, due to the exclusive blue uniforms that only the student council may wear. Their leader, the student council president, is the son of the school board chairman.
There is a secret to the student council that no one but the staff knows. They are descendants of the Egyptian gods. Descendants of the Egyptian gods have been on the student council for generations and have been keeping the school safe from outside forces.
The latest threat is a person who claims to be the son of Anubis. The Azure Guard is trying to stop him at all costs. The only drawback is that they have no idea where or who he is. The only clue is that he is a fellow student at Osiris Academy.
There is also a rumor spreading thought the staff that worries the Azure Guard. There is a legend about a girl with an ankh birthmark who is destined to be the other half of the descendant of Anubis. She alone has the power to bring peace or destruction to not only the school, but the entire world.- And she has just transferred to the academy.

Secrets Known Only to Me
Astrayl is the descendant of the goddess Hathor, she was a goddess of protection and also the goddess of love and joy. He learned that he wanted to love th world as much as he could one day but in his own twisted ways. He decided that the best way to do it was by becoming the student counsel president. He does not remember to much from his years as a child. All he really remembers is the temple in Dendera built to honor his ancestors as it keeps appearing in his dreams.
...But I Must Warn You:
Like to stay laid back a lot and stay in a somewhat calm but playful mood. Likes to act serious when he believes the need shows itself. He likes to get his work done and trys to get as much done as possible just so he can have some down time afterwards. He rather enjoys getting on the other counsel members nerves sometimes and loves to play games and really thinking games like chess and Go.

As I am the descendant of Ma'at, the goddess of justice, it was only befitting that I became vice president of the Azure Guard. I am an able-bodied fighter when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Not many can rival my skill. I am very loyal to my fellow guard and I will stop at nothing to find this girl with the ankh birthmark. I think we should protect her and keep the descendant of Anubis from finding her. several of my fellow guard dissagree. Either way, we must find her first at all cost!

I am very strong willed. I am also a bit oblivious at times. I guess you could say that is my weak point. But, I have a courageous spirit though and I am also very kind. I suppose you could say that I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Callirae’s parents died from an accident 3 days after she was born. Luckily, she has an older brother that turned out be very caring and protective of her. But that’s not all. Knowing that their family is the one true descendant of Isis, The Egyptian Goddess of Magic and Healing, she was trained by her brother as she was the one who inherited the Goddess’s power. Callirae in her everyday life practice the art of enchantments, how to control it, and eventually became a Great Sorceress. She has a mild OCD when it comes to her job as a secretary.

I am the younger twin brother of Chione, though I am much more level-minded. Unlike her, I am in full control of my emotions at all times. Also, unike her, I think we should find this girl and destroy her along with the son of Anubis. I think my sister is foolish for wanting to befrend the girl with the ankh birthmark.

I am stubborn, and come off as a bit cold, but I have a sharp eye for certain things. I think that should make up for my lack of sense of humor.

Secrets Known Only to Me
Every since I was little, I was connected to the underworld. I could see and converse with the dead. I suppose it is a freaky thing for a child to be able to do; but it was normal to me. Granted, there were definitely times when it was hard to handle. Sometimes it caused problems with the other kids as well, but my parents were proud. They were supportive and encouraged me to get more involved with these entities. Yea, my childhood was not typical at all.
Of course I know that I am the son of Anubis. My parents only drilled it into me since I took my first breath. They seem a bit too into the whole thing. In fact, they are extremely obsessed with my rapid growth in abilities and constantly expect great things from me. At first I loved the attention they threw at me everyday. I was happy to please them and would do whatever they asked. What an innocent child I was back then. After a while, I caught on to their little schemes. I found out what they really wanted: what they were really doing. Let's just say that things didn't go so smoothly for them after that. As they tried to deal with me: they showed their true colors. Right before high school, I figured out a way to deal with them.
Currently, I am lingering in school so I can meet my other half. I moved to this area right before I started high school in order to be a student here. It is all part of my plan. Of course those annoying azure guard roam around like they run the place. Well, they aren't that bad really. At least I have more people to play with. As for the normal school life...somehow, I happened to become quite popular: one of the heartthrobs of the school. The only people that seem to dislike me are of the jealous variety. I get good grades even though it doesn't look like I put much effort into it. People tend to challenge me at sports because I am pretty good at them and they always want me to join their club. Now that I think about it, I am good at almost anything I do. Of course that means that I am not particularly great at any one thing.
...But I Must Warn You:
I don't really care what others think and definitely don't flaunt my popularity. I suppose they like me because I am smart, friendly, laid back and charming. I do what I want to do whenever I feel like it, but I never try to be the center of attention. Behind that cheerful exterior hides many secrets. Some might say that I have a few screws loose, but I was born for some greater purpose and I am determined to make my plans become a reality.

Secrets Known Only to Me
I don't know who either of my real parents are. According to the orphanage I used to live at, I was fished out of the Thames in the middle of the night on a new moon, in a basket. The orphanage nurses that had heard my screams were surprised that anything had survived in that cesspool of a river. One of them called me Anput as a joke. She's supposed to the "Lady of Magic" and the nurse claimed that only by magic could I have survived. That, and I have an ankh-shaped birthmark on my back. I lived in the orphanage and grew up spoiled by the bigger children. Something about me makes people want to do that, I guess.
At age four, I was adopted by a middle-class family from Colchester. My parents worked hard, my mother as a secretary for the chairman of the local public transport system, and my dad as a freelance computer technician. They did their best to raise me well, sending me to Holmwood House School, a private academy. I attended school there up to the eighth grade, and live a normal, ordinary, boring life.
After the eighth grade, I attended Colchester High School. In my freshman year, I met a girl who was really into Egyptology. She got me interested in anything having to do with Ancient Egypt, especially the gods. I loved the tales about Anubis and his wife, Anput, with whom I share a name.The girl and I became good friends, and I was happy. She nicknamed me "Lady Night" because, as it turns out, the goddess Anput is known as Queen of the Starry Heavens. I can also see quite well in the dark, especially during the new moon. Everything was normal, and boring had been taken care of with my new interest in Ancient Egypt.
Then came the transfer. My dad got a permanent job as a manager of computer techs like him at some big company. We had to move away from Colchester and I had to leave everything I knew behind. Now I go to this new school where everybody treats me really weird. I thought it would be cooler, seeing as how the name of the school is Osiris Academy, but now I really wish I was home in Colchester. I mean, I'm at the bottom of the social ladder thanks to the student council or Azure Guard or whatever. For some reason, they've gone out of their way to persecute me.
...But I Must Warn You:
I might look like a boring Brit to you, but I'm actually just shy. If you could hear what I'm thinking, you would probably punch me or hug me for it. I have a deep sense of honor and respect for those who deserve it, and a wicked sense of humor for those that don't. While I don't mind what happens to me, do anything to my friends or badmouth them in front of me and I'll go ballistic on you.

For some reason, I see things that others don't. Maybe it has to do with my name. Anput was supposed to be "great in magic", and names are supposed to have power. I don't know, do you think it's a coincidence?

Standing infront of the entire student body, the President, Astrayl Helio Heartness clears his throat before speaking into the microphone. "Welcome back students from a long and joyous vacation. I kow had a lot of fun myself, beaches, candy, kids, and being along side of friends. Now that we are back in school and I assure you that this place is no different. Here you can share your secrets with your friends, here you can eat candy and have a joyous time while studying and preparing for the future that is your life. For now, while you still go to this school, I ask that you place your trust upon us, the Student Council. Always know that we are here for you and here to make sure that you have a safe and wonderful highschool life." Pausing for a moment to drink some water, he soon cleared his throat and continued. "I, Astrayl Helio Heartness, promise you that as your president I will listen to your complaints and I will always act upon them. Each and every single one of you should always remember that. Now, as I come close to finishing my speech, I end it here by saying thank you. Students of Osiris Academy, we begin a new year. WELCOME!" As most of the students repeated by saying welcome together, Astrayl walked off the stage and sat next to his vice-president. "Not to bad dont you think?"

Chione rolled her eyes, but smiled with a toothy grin.
"Whatever. Mr. Persident." she muttered, tapping him in the shoulder with her fist.
Heru coughed on the far end. Chione looked over at him. He pushed the glasses that he wore for apperance's sake.
"Respect, Chio." he corrected his sister in a sing-songy tone. Chione stuck her tongue out at him and Haru blanched. He knitted his brows together in annoyance.
"Oh you know you love me." she told him. He looked as if he were about to say something, but decided against it last minute.

Astrayl just smiled at the two while thinking about candy. 'Maybe I should have a pineapple flavored, or maybe strawberry. Oh right important stuff.' The assembly started to look like it was coming to a close. 'Well about to start another year.' Astrayl just sighed as he looked at Haru. "Haru, later check how much funds the student council has this year. I need to know before I start planning events again." The only part Astrayl really hated about this job was the amount of paper work he has to do for these events. He started to think to himself again. 'Man, I know I said that students can come to me at anytime but I have to make sure to at least have a hour to myself a day.' He looked at Chio. "What is the first item on our list to take care of after the assembly?"

Tarik, known as Rick to everyone at school, wasn't present among the student body when the president gave his little speech. He didn't want to bother going to such a thing. Plus, he was almost positive that the guys speech would be predictable and utterly lame. There was something about that guy that didn't sit right with him. Granted, they were basically mortal enemies; after all, he was the leader of the Azure Guard. Those guys goal was to get in his way. Luckily for him, no one knew that he was the son of Anubis. It made things a bit easier on him.
Even though Tarik wasn't at the gathering: he was still at school. During the assembly he was sitting on a tree limb with his back leaned against the trunk of the tree. It was a place he came to when he wanted to be alone. Most people didn't walk over in this area. If they did: he was so quiet that they wouldn't even notice he was there. His eyelids shot open when the breeze picked up and tickled his skin. Dark eyes shifted to look at the time on the cell he just pulled out of one of his pockets. It was about time to head to class.
Tarik shifted a bit before jumping to the ground with a soft thud. The bag that held his books, which was slung over his shoulder, slammed into his back after he landed. He didn't pay it any mind as he headed off to the school. Other kids were wandering about by now. It seemed that the little opening ceremony was over. It didn't take him long to make it to his designated room. He plopped down in a random seat that was in the second to last row by the window. The brunette set his legs on the desk with one crossed over the other. Then he proceeded to lean back while interlocking his fingers and holding the back of his neck with the palms of both hands. A small smile spread across his face as he waited for everyone to file in. He was a senior this year: it was going to be great fun. "You can't see them..."¤₪₪¤ "...but I can."

Heru nodded and began playing with his PDA.
Chione thought for a second then looked at him.
"Aside from the complaints about the cafeteria food and the new clubs that have yet to be sorted out, I think we should be looking for. . . Well, her." she stated, her voice turning low.
"Sorry to interrupt," Heru added "but we have almost ten thousand dollars in school funding. It appears that someone placed in an anonymous donation over the summer."
Chione shrugged. "Maybe one of the parents wanted to help out. It's no secret that this is a school for mostly rich kids."

Astrayl skin went pale and he looked the other way while his face became ghost like. 'Damn those idiots.' In his mind a image of his parents appeared in his head. Both of them waving to him while crying. Astrayl then had a flash back.
"Its too soon, why does this have to happen now? You are to young." Mother was crying as she was on her knees. Astrayl just looked at her and put his hand to his head and sighed. "Mother I am 17 now. I think I can walk to school myself, even better I will drive there ok." When he was about to turn around he felt a tugging sensation on his legs. He looked down to see his father. "Please anything but that, you are just throwing it in our faces aren't you?" Astrayl put his foot to his fathers cheek as he tried to get him off. "Father, what am I throwing in your face?" His father looked up at him with a crying face. "That you are old enough to drive which means we are old." Both of his parents proceeded to hug each other and cry together. Astrayl started to twitch at them then turned around. "I dont have time for this." As he walked away his father yelled to him. "Son, remember may our ancestors watch over you. Oh yeah and we decided to help you out a little at your school."
'So thats what those idiots were talking about.' Astrayl stood up and put his smile back on. Walking to the exit he looked at his fellow council members. "Well we best be on our way. Class is about to start and we have plenty to discuss."

Chione stood up and saluted the student council president.
"Yes sir!" she said, immitating a soldier.
After her, Heru stood, though silent. They followed after Astrayl one after the other.
"Let's see." Chione said, looking at a slip of paper in her hands that was passes along to her by Heru.
"It appears that I have Ancient History first period, then Physics. Ew. Oh! Cool! I got into Study of Ancient Combat! "
Heru winced. "Why would you take that class? I heard that that class is extremely hard to get into. You know, with the possibility of the inexperienced dying and all."
he said, causing Chione to roll her eyes "No, I'd rather have Study of Anciend Philosophy myself."
"Boring." Chione sang. "How about you Astrayl? When's your lunch? We should meet up then."

"Hmmmm let me take a look." Astrayl pulled out a booklet that said "Me Time," on the front of it. "Ahh here we go. My first class is Math, Ancient History, study of ancient combat, lunch, english, art, and then Council dutys." Astrayl looked over his schedule again. He knew he was going to get into the study of ancient combat class. His scorse to get in the class were at the top. "Hmmm math doesn't sound to fun, I might just sleep through it again, but I do have to set a example for the rest of the students don't I." He frowned a bit while walking.

One of his guy friends paused, as he was walking by the room, to greet him with a wave when their eyes met. "Hey Rick! How was your break man?" Tarik merely shrugged in response. There was nothing worth mentioning that the guy would really want to hear about. His friend sat on the edge of the desk beside him. "What's your schedule like?"
Tarik let his chair fall back to the ground and swung his legs off the desk. Then he started looking through his bag until he found the paper with his schedule on it. He was pretty sure that he remembered it all; but it didn't hurt to check. "Let's see...I have Lit, Physics, PE, Sign Language, Calc and Culinary..." he responded as he flung the paper onto his desk and leaned back in his chair again. Of course he told him the order that his classes were in.
"Why are you taking Physics and Calculus? You don't even need them!"
Tarik looked up at his friend. "For fun..." he replied before flashing him a small smile.
"You're crazy...wait why are you taking a cooking class?"
Tarik let out laugh at his friends question. "Who else do you think would take a class like that?"
"Oh..." his friend replied after suddenly realizing something, "chicks...lots of chicks. Oh man, you're good...I should have taken that class!"
Tarik shrugged as he glanced out the window. "You can still change your schedule," he suggested. In reality, he didn't really care how many girls were in that cooking class. In fact, it would be wrong to assume that there wouldn't be that many guys. If you look at all the experienced chefs in the world: the majority are guys. The other classes made sense. They were either easy or needed. Granted, he could have taken Ancient Combat or something; but he was almost positive that he'd run into one of the Azure Guard there. Not to mention the fact that he might get to into it and reveal himself somehow. It's not like he really needed to learn that anyway.
His friend told him his schedule and talked about a few other things before heading off to his on class. Tarik went back to his previous position.
