Another day, another outfit to ponder. The trip from hell and back was over and honestly, he was terribly grateful. Not only was he glad that he had been helpful to some and met a lot of new faces, he had not liked the explosions, monsters and the destruction of his clothing. Having awoken with a large headache on his bed to Enma Kai patting his forehead to see if he was okay, he had fed the minions and pondered his attire. Fifteen minutes later all he had decided on were pants and a new wrap-tie. Pulling the long length of black and red checkered material, he reached back and shoved aside the thick length of white that served as his hair to get started on winding it on. Thankfully, no one was asked why he kept rubbing his neck without his tie, as the large, jagged scar running across the entire back of his neck and stopping just below his ears were a hard thing to explain. Or even want to explain.

Tie in place and clasped, he picked a black and red checkered belt to match the tie and put that in place. Forgoing a shirt for the moment, he grabbed his red themed boots and sat on the edge of his bed to put them on. He tended to go with themes when he dressed, but it was hard to find colors that didn't clash horridly with his eyes and hair, so the red was a rather dark shade indeed. But he knew how to make colors work for him. Unlike his brothers, it was a skill he had been born with.

Now to fix his hair and ponder how he was going to spend his day. No, he hadn't forgotten he was without a shirt. Just he tended to do that part last, to make sure his shorts and jackets didn't get wrinkled just yet. A bit later, dressed and as ready to go as he was going to get, he gave orders to his minions to behave... hopefully, and headed out into the main dorm area. Now what to do? Maybe go to the maul? Hmm....

It was a good thing he had no classes, as he was pondering going out to get his minions some snacks. Possibly some toys too to prepare for his newest arrival, whenever Luka pops up anyway. Maybe gather up some more magazines... pondering a few things with his eyes gently narrowed, he was working on his jacket when he heard someone speaking. It had to be Carry for his name was wrong and he knew her voice reasonable well. "I'm usually typically bored if i can't plan anything amusing." Snickering a bit, he faced her as he straightened the cuffs of his jacket a bit. "Borrow me? Naturally, if you need me."

It was a first that he was being asked to be borrowed so he was a tad bit curious as to why. But he knew well that the best way to figure out the why's of a thing was to simply just go along with it. "Is there a place you wished to go? I know not if this school has a proper cafe yet... take a walk, perhaps?"

The way she said that made his curiosity that much worse but he offered his arm and then walked her back to his room. Once inside, he closed the door a bit before he worked on taking off his jacket. He somehow had the feeling that they wouldn't be heading out for a bit. A big plan that needed his assistance? He was actually rather flattered so he made sure to pay attention as she finally laid it down' thankfully before he gave into his own need to ask what it was she needed of him.

Because a plan that would make everyone envious of him would be a very good thing indeed. It was what he needed to grow and to get his parents off his back and show his cocky brothers that he could do much better than they every could. A brow shifted up as romance came up and he was really lost now. Though what she said was very true. He hadn't even been at the school long and he heard the word tossed about quite often and seen it in action. From Braum to, shockingly, Barth in some way. Romance was the 'in' thing but what she proposed made him almost drop his jacket. "Pretend to date?" He read about dating... but he had never done it before. "And how does us pretending to date work out in our favor?"

No matter how confused he was, however, Carry could tell she had caught his attention and he was listening. "Just to make you aware, I've never done such a thing before... dating, I mean. Have you?"

It was quite amusing to him how she was just about to try to say she had dated but pleased by her honesty and nodded slowly. Though he was vastly amused, it was rude to laugh at a lady, so he would never dream to do such a thing. He didn't know the name of the guru kid but he was positive that Carthusia wasn't the type to make things up for absolutely no reason, so he believed her. But still... to pretend to date each other? It seemed a bit far fetched for two people, who seemed to have no dating experience, to do... but then again, wasn't that the basis of dating anyway? Everyone started at the bottom and learned as they kept doing it. Or... something.

The requirements seemed reasonable; taking each other out made sense and the buying of trinkets. Notes shouldn't be too difficult. "Seems that way. As well as sending each other texts and having specialized ringtones, I'm assuming." He recalled well during the Christmas trip and Braum's ringtones for the ghouls in his life. There was another demon who seemed to be gathering himself up a harem. "It is rather easy to do. I don't see how it'd be difficult in the least." it would also mean getting to now her well enough to know things like her birthday and what she likes. That also wasn't difficult.

Leaning against a wall, he watched as she paced, the rings on his horns jingling gently with the motion of his head shifting back and forth. "I've heard of some couples, or of those who seem to be the talk of the school." For some, he wasn't sure as to why. "But what you say sounds... promising. It is the pride of our kind to be the best of everything we do. For us Avarice, that need is worse than in other demons. It is a brilliant idea. However, we would need it to be believable. Which, I figure, means that we'd need to be..." his gaze shifted down a bit, feeling slightly embarrassed to say it. Or perhaps it was nervousness. Either way, he didn't like it. "Close."

Agreeing seemed like the most logical path to follow. They would both be gaining something they needed, it sounded like fun and a good way to spend time in school outside of class and other things. And since it was pretend, they should work out rather well, right? Made sense in his head. "Awesome. I'll finally have a reason to use mine." He had two; a personal and a project skellyphone but since coming to the school, neither were in use often. Or, ever really. A smile curved his lips at how happy this plan seemed to make her so he was glad that he had agreed to it.

It didn't take long for him to realize that he may have used the wrong term. When he meant close, he meant the more 'lover' like actions, not just being close to her in general. But he could help snickering at the comment about Barth. "I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. I saw him briefly during the trip of Christmas Town and he just drew people to him... almost like bees to honey. If it hadn't amused me so much, I think I would have been secretly worried. But Barth did have Lilith's favor... mayhap some aspect of her rubbed off on him without him realizing it or something. "But it's a good thing he has companions, don't you think? I'm sure Lilith won't mind or anything." As long as Barth kept Lilith's attention from him, he was vastly pleased anyway.

Crossing his arms over his chest, he was pondering something as she spoke. Oh he was still listening to what she had to say, but something seemed... a bit off. "But wouldn't it not make sense? If we just suddenly got together without much context to it? I've seen how some couples have gotten closer and it's been due to interaction outside, where others have seen it. If I suddenly just asked you out, I think it would cause some confusion. Mainly since not many people know who we are as of yet. So, I propose, to make this believable of course... that I should court you first before I ask you out. That way, more people see us getting together and it can garner more attention that way. Least I think so. Sounds logical, yes?"

His magazines spoke of it quite often, though he wondered why romance marred pages of a supposed fashion magazine, but whatever. "So I should first be the one to send you gifts and flowers.. what kind of things do you like?" It'd be a bad idea to poison the ghoul, right? yeah, he thought so. A rather bad idea, indeed!

"Hmm... it's truly hard to say." A slight shrug was given as his nose wrinkled a bit. "She always did coo over him more than the others, but that could be a good thing for the rest of us, I think? As long as she's not too close..." Her lack of memory seemed a concern but he wasn't about to pry into that.. not just yet. There was time to ask why she couldn't remember stuff. "I've heard something about it. I'm still truly trying to figure out why some of us were asked to deal with that character. He can't even dress himself properly! Did you see how horrid he looked?" A shudder ran through him as he recalled his run in with it, as he called 'steve'. "Horrible..."

To court her had been something that came to mind from things he had seen. Typically, if someone just went up to someone and asked them out randomly... though he had never been slapped, he had seen it and it looked rather painful. Rubbing his chin, he smirked at that. "That's not very informative, then. I've seen a good many of them and it seems the right course of action. And if we make it a display for the other students to see, then they can grow more envious. If the courting is done well." Which made him a bit worried. He would need to either break down and call his mother for advice or do research. And truly, asking his mother about anything was something he feared so that one was definitely out. Research it was. "Hair things? I personally only have a few, nothing suitable for a ghoul such as yourself. But that shouldn't be too difficult to locate and gift to you."

Pushing himself away from the wall, he moved over to where he kept some notebooks and moved them about til he found a blank one and took up his snakepen. It was best to take some notes so he wouldn't mess up. He doubted he'd forget but it was best to not do something that horrible to begin with. "Don't worry, my dear, I shall find something perfect for you. It is, after all, what I do best." his smile was definitely sensual but he couldn't help that. But it faltered a bit when asked what he would like in return. "A gift... for me?" Had he ever truly gotten gifts from people? he was vastly thrown off by it and he tapped the small notebook against his chin as he tried to wrap his mind about it.

"Um.. hmm... it matters not to me." He did have two of every from the best of labels and he was picky and could gain what he wished with a call or two, but he was always learning to expand on such things. "Perhaps some more cookbooks wouldn't be amiss... or... cooking supplies... fashion isn't my only hobby." Still a bit thrown for a loop, it took a second for his brain to recall the Steve thing and he scowled a bit but nodded. "Yes, that thing. I have no idea why Lilith was interested in dating that kind of filth creature but... whatever she wants to do, I guess. It would have just been nice to leave us out of it... hmm I saw him on the Christmas trip, thankfully, he didn't recall me. I consider that a good thing. You really don't recall why we were brought here, do you..." It was a gentle question cause he was concerned. She was a fellow Avarice and as there weren't any others of their kind there, it wasn't a bad thing to at least be on good terms with each other. "Speaking of those not here, I have yet to see Greed. But he's most likely locked up in his room, glutting himself on his mini pets as usual."

In all truths, the Envy demon was doing his best to not mentally worry himself too much. To date at all would be an interesting thing to do and this was practice, right? Well, it would be interesting regardless... hopefully he could pull it off all right. Chuckling at the easy part, he waved a hand gently as he closed his book and set it on top of his desk for easy finding later. "I doubt that very much, my dear. I shall have to do much research on the topic myself to make sure I'll be a suitable partner for you. I'd hate to do anything that would embarrass you, considering you're asking me for this favor. There aren't that many but it seems there are people tossing ideas for couples around. I hear Riley's name quite a bit in the halls of the school; though she's often being paired with other people..." Though the usual pair up was her and the Doctor. "I think we can make ourselves get what we need in our own way. Anything we see is for reference, I think."

Don't buy anything? A slight pout graced his lips at the thought of it, considering there were clothes he needed to replace. Patching it up simply would not due. Finally, after a moment or two of indecision, he dipped his head into a nod. "All right. I shall do my best to not buy anything for myself." it should be possible right? Yeah, he could do it.

"I heard that you found the two of them at the restaurant and there was a confrontation. I'm not clear on all those details, but I'm sure Lilith should have to know something about it, considering that she was there when it happened. I was too busy trying to get that image of that outfit Steve used to 'defeat' me out of my head." His head tilted a bit before he placed a soft hand onto her shoulder and gave it a light squeeze. "I'm sure you'll find all the answers you need. Ask Lilith whenever you see her, but don't push yourself too hard or anything. There is no need to harm yourself."
