(( Any student can join this. You are forewarned, however, that Coralie and Morton and maybe other students are up for crazy things so...come only if you dare! ))

The last week had been boring. So boring Coralie thought beating her skull against the wall would be more fun. Luckily she was more creative than that and had decided enough was enough. They were going to do something fun. Really fun. So it hadn't taken her long to grab Morton and let him in on her little idea: This Spiderday they were going to plan a massive game of Truth or Dare.

She made posters, really odd things that seemed to ramble and not really explain anything. All they said was "looking for something fun?" or "we have booze! Oh wait, not really, but the next best thing to it, or something". They didn't say what the game was, just that they'd be playing something. Despite how unclear they were (because Cora had found it much more interesting to see how ridiculous she could make those posters), they still said the time and location: Midnight on Spiderday on the edge of the Weeping Forest.

That night she flew over to the agreed location, leaving both Wilfred and Luka behind. Wilfred would have just complained the entire time and been a spoil sport. While often she found it funny, tonight she didn't want any party poopers if she could help it. She didn't know about the rest of who was going to show up, but she was bored and that mean she was going all out.

It hadn't really bothered him that Coralie had practically dragged him away one day he'd been napping, claiming that they had things to do because jack-damnit, she was bored. He had little to no time at all to react, and despite it, he had gone along with it. In all honesty, the ghoul could have practically told him she was determined to walk off the edge of the world and he'd have told her he would happily join her on that particular adventure. If only because it was bound to be interesting.

So thus, when she'd come up with this particular idea, the gargoyle had swiftly decided he wanted in on it. Of course, then again, he'd probably have been dragged in for the ride even if he hadn't been up for it. So many students had left on the Train, and while it'd been nice to have the school sorta empty-ish at first, it'd grown boring soon. He was glad they'd all seemed to return, and with them, the activity and life he recalled and actually cherished. As soon as they'd returned, he helped Coralie create the posters and notes he'd carefully stuck around school, in the strangest of places, from bathrooms to other crooks and corners. He'd gone as far as sneaking around some of the dorms in order to slip the posters under some doors.

The date and time the posters indicated had come rather swiftly and... while Morton had absolutely no idea if anyone would show up (hey, if they didn't, he figured they'd still do something fun regardless), he still went to the Weeping Forest. He flew there in his true form, landing as silently as he could manage, "What time is it, exactly?" he asked as he emerged from some shrubs, quickly favoring his more humanoid form for the game, "Did anyone come?" he was addressing Coralie, whom he'd spotted right before landing, arching a brow at her lack of hat, "Where's the hat? You ditched it?"

Midnight on Spiderday on the edge of the Weeping Forest?

Carthusia had pondered this for quite a while. Whatever they had planned, it promised to be fun, exciting and interesting. Plus, she could possibly meet a great deal more people than she would normally! Donning her best attire (which consisted with the outfit she took her school picture in, plus a jacket in case it was cold), she packed up a few snacks and drinks she'd pilfered from the creepateria and headed in the direction of the Woods. She'd trekked for a while, piece of a poster in hand, before she started hearing voices. She either had to be in the right spot, or she was interrupting someone's private time. Shifting through the underbrush, her wings caught a branch and she let loose some choice demonic phrases before stumbling into a clearing of sorts.

She looked dumbfounded. "Umm... greetings!" Carthusia feigned as much excitement as she could. Hopefully they'd overlook her terrible entrance and focus more on the food she had brought with her. Spider snacks, Spookacola... "This is the right spot for the stuff on this poster, right? I found it in the dorms." She held it up, indicating she'd followed the directions to the best of her ability. Now, who were these people? She'd never seen them before.

Crap, introduce yourself! "I'm Carthusia, by the way, but call me Carry. I'm game for just about anything." Sound confident! Right, now pretend you know what this whole shindig is about in the first place...

It was only because he was deathly bored that Ren decided to actually pay attention (for once) to the fliers and posters that kept popping up all over the halls of the school. Normally he would have just passed them by with a yawn and a roll of his eyes, but since he had spent the last three nights lounging around in front of his computer, unable to nap (whoever was in the room next to him needed to turn their Jackdamn music down already) he decided, on a whim, to actually -gasp- go out for once.

It was still a foreign concept. Not to mention Ren had no idea what on earth he was doing, on the edge of the Weeping Forest, and he had no idea who the other students were.

Oh, well. Ren shrugged as he landed quietly on the grass beside two others, tucking his wings neatly behind him as he straightened. He had left Rhys, Takashiro, and Felix at home tonight - the pesky little critters would undoubtedly just get in the way - so it was just him.

Ren glanced around. "So," he said, leaning against a nearby tree and folding his arms across his chest. "Where's the 'next-best-thing?'"

Gargantuan liked fun things! Fun things were nice! And nice things were fun and... well, yes. The point being, after G had finally been able to read the poster (it had taken him a while, and he'd had to painfully sound out the words), he'd made sure he knew when Spiderday was, and lumbered out to the Weeping Forest with enthusiasm.

There were people there! That meant he hadn't gotten lost, and now he was going to get to have fun! And maybe, if he was really lucky, they would have hats! G didn't know what booze was, but 'the next best thing' had to be hats!

He recognized Cora--she had come to visit his table when he had been trying to get elected! That immediately made G very fond of the girl, and he would wave at her before he dropped himself to the ground in a seat. "Hullo."

Fun times!

Christof knew he needed to be more sociable, lurking in shadows late at night was not the best way to make friends, even in Halloween- and so the posters hanging all around campus had immediately piqued his attention. It was awkward to go alone to a party, though, and he wasn't about to ask Amrita to go with him, lest people get the wrong idea. They wouldn't have been a DATE- the ghoul was what, nine? And so he had sought out his next... I suppose you could call him a friend? At any rate, Barth needed to leave his room more as well, and after climbing into the demon's bedroom via the window as he had become accustomed to, he dragged the irritable, sleepy boil with him. Cruisin' for ghouls with his home-boy. Much better than going stag.

She had just happened to come across one of these strange posters advertising about something going on at the edge of the Weeping Forest. Midnight. Spiderday. One of LW's minis had seen the poster floating about (it must have fallen off the wall or wherever it had been posted). Intrigued that something interesting was bound to actually happen for once and a Spiderday, the she-wolf had marked it down and planned on going out there. So when Spiderday came around, she threw on something warm and stealthily made her way towards the forest.

As she grew closer to the edge, she could pick up the scents of other students that had come this way. Following those, she found herself stumbling (literally) into a small group gathering. She tripped over somethings foot. It was big and green and...a student? The she-wolf had never seen this boil before! Her stumble had her accidentally bumping into another boil that was leaning against a tree. When she had her balance again, her tail was curled around her legs as she gave the two boils a sheepish look.

"Uh...sorry about that." Her voice was small until she cleared it and glanced at the others. "Hiya.."

The distant whining became ever-closer.

"How far is it?"

"We're doing what?"

"Is this even remotely important, or somehow crucial to my well-being?"

None of the questions received answers, of course, but finally dragged to their destination, Barth looked at the group of boils and ghouls he mostly didn't know, and the woodsy backdrop.

"Er," he said, tentatively, "If you lot are about to beat me up over something, I would like to enforce that whatever I did to offend you was probably an accident." He added, as an afterthought, "Hi, Carry."

Of all the places for the small note to end up, Calder had found out about the party first by a small sticky note stuck to the back of one of his many leeches. Gregle was not a happy leech, and came to his room, whining that some boil had shoved a note on his back. Frowning, eh was about to rip off the note and swear vengeance on this person when he read the note and perked up. Ohhh! A game and people would be there. It sounded like fun. In fact, the note promised fun and he always held a note to follow with its promises.

Seeing as the leech would not get it's vengeance, it demanded to come along, which was no problem with Calder. The more, the merrier.

Getting to the Weeping Forest was rather easy. It was a distance away – nothing if you could turn into a horse and gallop there – and shift back just before you hear the sound of whimpering and soft sobbing. Yeah, the plant life was often depressing, but he noted that they seemed rather quiet today. It was probably all the company, aside from one tree that had started to wail in the distance before going quiet. Ooookkkaaayyy.

Once he heard merrier voices, he approached, dressed as he was any other day, and stepping through a shrub who whimpered as if he had just hurt it. Ugh. He hated depressing plants. It was just one thing he would not eat.

Stepping in, he looked around. "Did the game start yet?" He asked, looking around. Would they pick teams? OH, he wanted to be a team. They could have cool names like Monstrous Merciless Menaces!

Ren did not recognize the redhaired girl that stepped on his foot (ow, he thought) as she stumbled against him accidentally. Nor did he recognize any of the other students, really (although some of them looked vaguely familiar).

"Nmmmproblem." Ren said to the she-wolf, stifling a yawn (he had meant to say no problem, but it had come out sounding rather garbled). "S'a lotta people here. Easy to trip over people. I think."

Rubbing a hand on the back of his neck, Ren let his eyes drift from boil to boil, ghoul to ghoul. The orange haired one and the skeleton...thing...looked that they might be the instigators of this whole event (whatever it was), but Ren was too lazy to actually go and ask.

Or just go and talk to anyone, for that matter. He yawned again, sliding down the trunk of the tree to sit at its base, pulling his knees up against his chest. Apparently they were still waiting for more to arrive, although it was a decent gathering already.

Whatever. Ren leaned rested his chin in the palm of his hand.

Wasn't there supposed to be booze at this party?

He had been heading back to his dorm room when he noticed the poster. Probably a good thing he had looked up from his fashion magazine long enough to notice it. "Truth... or dare...?" His head tilted a bit as he thought about it. Well, it was a bit better than plotting new outfits to get Amrita to try out without her freaking on him. And it would help pass the time as he waited for his foxsquirrel to appear. Memorizing the day, and making notes to locate the place, he had returned to his dorm until the appointed day.

Upon arriving, he looked at the group who were already there. Not many that he was familiar with, as per the norm... other than Carry and Barth, but he had never truly talked to them much, even before. But his slight smirk was still in place as he raised a hand in greeting. "Good evening, all. Sounds like tonight's going to be some kind of fun."

Looking for something fun? Why, yes she was! Junko always loved fun! And so she paid attention to those posters, happily awaiting the day to arrive and when it did she put her hair up over Her and began her trek to the location of the game. She hoped she wouldn't be late! If she was it would be totally Her fault in all seriousness; She was less than cooperative.

When Junko finally arrived she found that while there were a few people here already it wasn't a terribly large number yet, and they hadn't begun the game or anything. Thank goodness! "Ah, hello! I'm not late, am I?" It had sounded fun, and Junko had quite happily not 'noticed' the posters about the next best thing to booze. What was the next best thing after booze? Not that Junko was very interested in the drink in general...she was just curious.

"This is stupid, Junko! I want to go back!" Once again, Junko happily didn't notice this voice. Voice? What voice. There was no voice!

Coralie quirked a brow at Morton, "Of course I ditched him. You know how he is. He probably would have ruined all the fun." And she planned to have fun if it killed her. Yes, she had been that bored. She passed grins to the other students as they came in, even offering a wave to G, after all who could forget him really. When there seemed to be a good group of them she nodded to Morton and began speaking to the group loudly enough so everyone could hear her.

"Hey guys, the name's Cora and this is Morton. We're the ones behind the signs. We decided the student body was long overdue for a little fun...so we're going to be playing a little bit of Truth or Dare." Her grin was crooked and mischievous. If there were any innocent student types here, well, they were in for a ride. "There are only a few rules. And I mean it, aside from these rules there aren't any. So listen up! First, if you take a dare you have to do it, and if you take a truth you have to tell it. Second, no dares that mess up the game, like daring someone to tell all their truths as lies or something, that's just no fun. Lastly, if you don't want to do something, you leave, but you can't rejoin the game after that."

She took a seat where she stood and indicated for the others to follow suit, "We're going to sit in a circle and go around one at a time. When its your turn you get to ask anyone either a truth or dare." She tilted her head a little and raised her brows, "Annny questions?"

(( HERE IS THE ORDER: Cora, Morton, Carthusia, Ren, Gargantuan, Christof, LW, Barth, Calder, Livi, Junko

When you post a TRUTH or DARE, make it BOLD so we can see it.

You can post out of order, but you cannot post a DARE or TRUTH out of order. Though use common sense like...don't post 10 times in reaction to one dare k.

If you want to join late, that's fine, just go to the bottom of the list! ))
PostPosted: Sun Jan 09, 2011 5:31 pm

So many new people here, though she recognized Livi and Barth. Livi was known for his sense of style and lovely green accents, and Barth... well... was known for being Barth. Apparently, he came with an entourage. Jackdammit, Carry needed an entourage why did she not have one yet?!. She set down the cooler and went to greet them, since they were the only ones she recognized. "Glad you two could make it as well. Are you up for an interesting evening? Nice shirt as always, Livius." She shot him a wink (right, right? Winking meant confidence, right?) and she listened to the instructions.

Truth or Dare?

Oh boy, this was one way to garner attention, but she had to play along! Keep your insecurities to yourself! Act the part! Remember who you're supposed to be! You're Pride, candlejackit~ her head screamed at her and Carry kept (or tried to keep) her head held high. The reaper and the skeleton thing seemed to be in charge. She pointed to the cooler she brought full of snacks and (non-alcoholic) drinks.

"Food and beverages are up for grabs if anyone's interested."

Truth or dare?

Oh, good, he'd thought it was something horrible. Since truth or dare was mostly a big game of Who Would You Do, he probably wouldn't even have to get up.

That was a lot easier than being pummeled.

But the principle, staying still and hoping no one would notice you, was the same. He gave Christof a look, hoping he didn't have any additional motivations (revenge for...laundry, or something), although Christof's attempts at communicating his questions or dares should prove for, as Carry said, a very interesting evening.

"I think so. It is a nice shirt," Barth said helpfully.
