The maul was crowded today and with her parent's credit card in hand, Carthusia was busy window shopping. She wanted something that looked fancy, that complemented her eyes and hair, and that overall made her look more appealing to the students at the school. She hadn't met too many people yet, but she hoped that would change. Despite her memory loss, she did remember one particular student - Lilith. She had some sort of relationship with the reaper before she fell asleep (for lack of a better term), so the demon wanted to rekindle whatever was there, if possible. She sent the girl a letter, asking for company while out and about today. Quote: Lilith, You may not remember me, but I do remember you, if only vaguely. Sorry about whatever happened at the restaurant - I don't really know what was going on beforehand. Still, would you like to come shopping with me? I could use the company and I have mom's card. Meet me at the maul at 2PM if you're up to it. Hope to see you there. Carthusia Would that be enough? The demon certainly hoped so. The more people she met, the better. Her inferiority stung quite a bit, so she tried to distract herself with a new dress in the window. "Only $300? That's not too bad." she said, tapping the card against the glass. Mom wouldn't mind or really even notice if her daughter dropped a few hundred dollars at a popular boutique.

Lilith was holding the letter that Carthusia had sent her in her hand as she stood at the entrance of the maul. The young necromancer was thinking about two things. In order: A. She hadn't paid too much attention to the maul since she transferred, but she certainly was all for going on a little shopping trip. B. She was pleased that Carthusia not only wanted to see her but she wanted to go shopping with her. She didn't really care about the fight anymore, it was just something that happened. Friends fight all the time.
Lilith looked at the clock that was on the wall that read 1:55 PM, and then to the letter which said to meet at the maul at 2:00 PM. She had the time right and Lilith was on time, but the ghoul was not sure where exactly in the maul the two were supposed to meet. There were a lot of people roaming around the walls of the maul but none were her pride avarice. No Carthusia and with nothing else to do, the ghoul decided to do a little window shopping. There was nothing of interest until she stumbled across a popular but expensive boutique. There was a cute hair piece sitting on a stand.
"This would look lovely in Carthusia's long hair," she announced to herself.

"You think it would?" came a reply from behind her.
Carry had forgotten to mention a specific destination in her letter (whoops!) but Lilith was unique enough to spot very easily. With the reaper's permission, Carry engaged her in a friendly hug. Lilith was lovely, as usual. From what she could remember, Lilith was the object of Pride's adoration, but the reason was unfamiliar. Carthusia frowned a bit in thought, biting her lip at the gaps in her memory. All she could recall was being a friend to the reaper, and perhaps a partner, but beyond that, all she could see was the flaming wreckage of a restaurant and several terrified denizens of Halloween. How embarrassing.
Pride was beyond relieved that Lilith had accepted her invitation and swelled with happiness. "It's so good to see you. I've missed you a great deal and... I'm very sorry about before." Despite any demonic inclinations, Carry couldn't bring herself to be even the slightest bit terse with Lilith. Indeed, the reaper meant a great deal to her. "I... don't remember a thing. I hope you would forgive me." The demon wrung her hands. Maybe Lilith could fill her in a little on what happened before?

Although Lilith went to the maul realizing she would meet Carthusia, she wasn't expecting her to be behind her at the very second she had made the comment out loud to herself. Her mouth opened a little in surprise, but no sound came out and after a moment she turned around and nodded her head to the demon. "I do think so." She said as she happily countered the hug Carthusia had given her with a smile. She was pleased to see Carthusia on terms that didn't involve the two of them fighting, even if they made up it was always unpleasant to fight with your friends.
"I've missed you as well," she said. "As for what happened before, don't worry about it. I'm just happy you're back."

Carthusia sighed. She couldn't remember a jacking thing about what happened before, and it worried her. It probably showed on the demoness' face too, but she tried to push it aside in favor of doing some shopping and catching up on things. She knew, and remembered, that Lilith loved the colors blue and purple, and before she had gone into the store to find the Reaper, Carry had picked up a necklace filled with gems on her way. It sparkled and shined with something akin to magic (and she didn't doubt the necklace had magical properties, having come from A Reaper's Wish).
"If it means anything, I found this for you." Almost skittishly, Carthusia handed the box to the reaper and clasped her hands together in anticipation. "I hope you like it!"

The reaper look the box from the demon and carefully opened it to find a necklace inside. If Carthusia had forgotten anything, it certainly wasn't Lilith's taste. The necklace that the demon had pulled out was blue, purple and absolutely beautiful. It seemed to shine in a way something natural couldn't, and perhaps it was magical. The reaper seemed to stare at it for a lingering moment before she looked up at Carthusia. The reaper absolutely loved it and she gave the demon a smile.
"I love it," she told her as she closed the box so the necklace would not be damaged. The maul had some questionable creatures out today and Lilith didn't like it. Although that wasn't anything new. She didn't like much. "Thank you so much."
Perhaps the reaper would repay the gift, coming back to this store later to purchase the hairpiece she had been looking a t earlier for Carthusia. She would do it in secret and give it to her as a surprise later. Yes, that sounded like a plan. She would just need an excuse to get away from her for a moment so she could surprise her.
"What would you like to do?"

What would you like to do?
The thought actually never occurred to her - she was so preoccupied with simply seeing Lilith that the thought of what to do afterward simply never happened. Carthusia blinked at the reaper for a few moments before shaking her head in embarrassment. What a great way to reunite with a dear friend - complete and utter idiocy. "That's... completely up to you. Admittedly, I never made it that far past 'I'd really like to see Lilith again and apologize.'..." she said, a hand making its way up to hold her cheek. A slight blush may have been seen. It'd been too long since they'd seen each other and yet, their last meeting was disastrous to say the very least. She was relieved that the reaper didn't hold a grudge of any kind, at least apparently so.
"Do you mind maybe walking around? I'd really like to speak with you, make sure you and that guy are okay, especially after... you know..." She fidgeted, something Carry rarely did. She wanted to know more about the situation if Lilith had any insight.
