Akira was born blind and not very social. He has always wanted to see the outside world, but he knows its not going to happen. At school, he is always made fun of and always harrassed by other kids who think of him as a freak or that they are better than he is. Now that he has enrolled in high school, the torment gets worse, and has yet to meet anyone who would be his friend. He then encounters -insert name here- who feels sorry for him and stands up for him. She then becomes his freind, but will it go any further? Cool. Name: Zakura Momoji Age: 15 Personality: Nice, upbeat, easy going, funny, smart, athletic, and caring. Bio: Zakura grew up an only child. She never had anyone close to interact with. When she started school, her parents worried that she wouldn't be able to adapt easily. But they were wrong. Zakura took it nicely and has ever since made friends easily. Akira was sitting on a bench...alone. He was completely unaware of what the kids were doing around him, considering he was blind.

Zakura gasped as a book slipped from her grasp. She muttered something unintelligable before bending down and picking it up. As she was straightening, she caught sight of a few people heading towards a boy sitting on a bench. The boy looked familiar and Zakura remembered that he was blind. She groaned. This wasn't going to look good. With a sigh, she started walking towards Akira.

Akira kept his head down, then after hearing footsteps, he looked up, wondering who it could be or if they were actually walking towards him.

Zakura quickened her pace, seeing the few boys getting closer to Akira. A few of them caught sight of her and slowed down as they saw where she was headed. With a quick movement, she sat down next to Akira. "Go along with this." she said quickly and quietly. "This will help you, trust me." The bullies wouldn't be as jockheaded around her. She was well known. They wouldn't do anything physically, hopefully.

Akira looked around, wondering who the girl was that sat down next to him. "Uh...who are you?" he asked, not really looking at her.

"Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Zakura." she said. "I'm not very familiar with your name either, but there are some people about to antagonize you." True enough, Zakura could most likely guess their intentions.

Zakura smiled. "It's nice to meet you too!" she said in a cheery tone. She tilted her head and looked at him. "Really?" she asked. "That's not very good. Don't you tell anyone about it?"
