Has anyone seen any bugs around today? I've been wandering around for aaaaaaaaaages and I haven't seen a single bug anywhere!!! crying AND it seems that I need 2 licences!! On to buy things and one to sell things! Not impressed! sad ::Goes to pout in a corner::

Right, if you spend too much time collected the things you're collecting will disappear after a while, it's the same with the flowers(which will hopefully be back once the snow has gone from Towns)
If you have more than one account you can swap and the bugs etc will be back again, but that it's much help to you i know , you'll just have to leave towns for a while, maybe try again this evening rolleyes

Awwwww, lookit the little pouty face!! Almost gives me reason to forget that you were leaving bugs all over the place. Almost. 4laugh
I've not investigated the Trades options yet. Do you really need to buy licenses to offer or to put trades up? How much? (( looks at the meager amount of gold I have managed to make )) Is it worth it? stressed

With the 500 pass you can make trades - but only to specific people. And I was spreading the buggy wealth. blaugh Now, I need to find some more, and keep the good times rolling. biggrin

It is worth it, especially in the long run. When you find a rare event box, you can sell one for more than you paid for the trading pass and vending license put together, and you only have to buy those once! If you're going to get into the donation items, then selling those is always profitable, especially if you wait for the prices to go up. Bipper made all her original gold just from buying and selling items, and she hadn't even posted until this guild was created (long after her avatar had been around.)
Selling ink and paper hats that you make from collecting bugs and trash in towns is good too, except I haven't seen what the current prices are. Since I hear flowers haven't been available in towns during the winter, I was about to check to see if I could sell my flowers for a little more right now.
1500g isn't a lot to spend for those abilities, as you'll see over time. Once you start amassing posts and are able to vote in more polls per day, gold making becomes quicker. And just posting enough to get 1000 posts gets you around 6000 gold, as a few of my mule accounts have shown me already. (Oh, if you're wanting to up your post count quickly, make a good colored 'bump and good luck' post and copy and paste it, or a bump image, and start bumping people's quests in the charity/quests forum. They appreciate it! It took me about 2 weeks to get 1000 posts total by working hard at that!)

Thank you for all that information!! I'm sure the passes are worth it in the end, but think I'll postpone getting them for a while since I have no gold. (I'm beginning to think this is worse than neo - or was neo this bad way back when we all first started there?!)

I do wish it was as easy to make gold here as it is to make neopoints on neo. I do feel bad for the newbies on neo who really want paintbrushes for their pets, but have to save up millions to do so. At least earning a million neopoints is an attainable goal on neo though! Here, it can't be done unless you miraculously catch some really rare fish, or sell mounds and mounds of donation items (which would cost lots of real money!)

what the Ummagine one says is true, gold making does become easily, but i remember how it felt initially, it was a major goal for me when i first hit 1000 gold, now i can make that in a few hours...those lisences do come in handy though, as i'm sure you'll find out if you stick around on here 3nodding

You guys make earning gold look so easy. I've been here over a year now and can only manage 10k in gold. What am I doing wrong. I don't have the time to sit here for hours and hours polling and posting. What else is there?

It's basically steady polling that does it, once you've reached 1000 posts. I just throw in a poll vote in another window when I'm reading here, or playing neo games, or whatever.
I did make a hefty amount when trash could first be turned into hats, and those were new. I don't think they sell for nearly as much now though. But really, most of what I make is from polling. I used to poll steadily throughout the day and make over 3k. But yeah, if you don't have the time, it will build up slower than that. I haven't been polling much for weeks and weeks now. But you'll still build up your gold if you do poll about every 30 seconds or so, or whenever you remember to in another window while you ARE able to be on gaia.

Just seems to take me so long. I didn't know whether there was some other thing I should be doing or not.
One more questions, are all the links to everyone's quests, bump boards, etc. in the important links thread? I went through there tonight and subscribed to everyone there just to make sure I had them all. There were a few I didn't and I bumped them all. I just want to make sure I have everyone's subscribed to. If I don't have someone's, please PM me your link and I will subscribe asap smile
