Eirwen was used to being alone. He always had been, for all he knew. He almost found comfort in solitude. He stretched his wings down to his sides, the tips nearly dragging the grass. This area was new to him.. He was never afraid, though. Nothing had really endangered him yet.
The stallion held his head high, looking around him at the hills and plains. He doubted anyone would approach him.. The lands were quiet.

Being home was starting to make Shi itch. There were foals around, it was chaotic - Her brother wasn't as susseptable to her tauntings at the time. Miserable.
She thought a walk might make her feel better, get her mind off of things...But there was something missing. She needed to play a game. But a proper game needed a pawn.
"Ay! Watch where yer goin', wouldja?!" The words slipped from her mouth before she could stop herself as she collided with the winged stallion.

Eirwen's eyes locked on the mare as she spoke. How had he not seen her before?! He quickly tucked his wings against his back, his feathers very ruffled. "Excuse me? You're the one who ran in to me." He wasn't usually one to snap at someone, but she had reacted so rudely! The least she could do was apologize! His day had been perfect.. until now.
He took a few steps back away from her, looking down at her. She was quite pretty now that he took a good look at her.. but that attitude! "Why weren't you watching where you were going either? You could have easily moved."

Shi's ears flattened slightly as she stared down the winged stallion, her hooves shuffled against the ground. "I was...You shoulda jus'...You were...I..." She verbally flailed a moment before hushing herself with a huff. "I was lookin' over mah shoulder'n din't see ya." Her eyes narrowed, not at the stallion but at the ground to the side of him.
With great reluctance she offered a "Sorreh...", her ears remaining flattened as her tail swished unhappily. She wasn't really sorry of course, but he didn't need to know that.
