Of course as usual, Fidda was one again stuck in some near about impossible situation that was really not so impossible for her. Having started off her day with the bright idea to go on a hunt .... because well nothing could go wrong there could it....Fidda had managed to get her self stuck in a ditch that was half full of water.

Now you might be thinking, oh she could get herself out easily. And in fact, she thought the same, but good fortune had never rained upon Fidda in her life. While attempting to free herself from the ditch, she managed to get half way up before the dirt fell loose beneath her, causing her to fall back awkwardly on her hind paws, spraining one in the processes. "Ooooh...oh dear." she half groaned, half sighed. "Oh now just stay calm." she soothed herself while gently licking at her now throbbing ankle. The dirt now mixed with the water, staining her once bright white and silver coat, a dark muddy brown. Not to mention she was now soaking wet from head to toe. It couldn't get much worse....or so she thought. It seemed a chilling breeze was picking up too. Such was the luck of this poor damsel.

Surly someone would come along who'd take pity on her....wouldn't they? Usually someone came.... but more often than not.... well, at this point in time, the lioness could only hope.

Tsu'Kaa flicked his tail, irritated. He had been searching for Daa for what felt like millenia. He was tired. He was tired....and not just in the physical sense. Daa had been his comforter, as well as his master, since he was a tiny cub, and his wings had trailed on the ground. Daa had been everything to him, everything and more, until they were seperated at adolescents. Kaa still woke up, some nights, with a scream on his lips as he remembered the fire. The burning...the burning. Eyes wide, lost in memories, Kaa almost fell over the very ditch Fidda was trapped in.

Only his quick reflexes propelled him back, and in doing so, he spied a familiar face...even if it was covered in mud.

"....Fidda?" Quickly discerning it was the female he had helped before, Kaa got stuck in...though not literally. No. There was a nearby tree, so breaking a branch off with his mouth, he passed the leafy end towards her, mumbling around the thick wood in his mouth.

"bake mold."

The voice was pleasing to her ears, someone was there. But what was even better was that it was a voice she recognized. Glancing up, after wiping a few bits of mud from her eyes, she noted the familiar purple and white fur of Tsu'Kaa. A quick smile plastered over her face. "Kaa?! Oh I'm ever so happy to see you!" she beamed, trying to stand up and balance her weight off her throbbing paw....that is until a branch was shoved in her face.

"Bake mold? I hardly think this is the time to be baking mold.... if a lion could even bake." she giggled before it clicked. "Oooh....right...right sorry." she said and deeply blushed. She was almost certain he could see how flushed she was from up there and quickly burred her face into the leaves, searching for a firm place to bite down. Once she had done so, she sank her teeth into the wood. It was an odd feeling, but she was desperate at this point.

"Oohkeh. Ai'm weadee."

Had his mouth not been occupied with holding onto the branch, Tsu would have laughed....well, actually he probably would smiled...maybe smirked. But the amusement was there, ,and surely the intention was what mattered? After all, a few moons ago Tsu would have never even though of being amused. But he had mellowed. This part of the lands was rife with creatures of all species, and Tsu was learning from all of them.

When Fidda had mouthed her equally unintelligible statement, Tsu dug his back paws into the earth and pulled, heaving as hard as he could. It wasn't that Fidda was particularly heavy, moreso that she was thoroughly stuck. Tsu wasn't the biggest of lions, but nor was he a weakling, so pulling hard on the branch, the resistance lessened more and more as he pulled the normally-pale coated lioness out. He looked somewhat like a packhorse, but the metaphor would be lost on him, not having ever seen one.

As Tsu kept tugging, Fidda's cheeks began to get hotter and hotter from her blushing. One would think she was used to being in such situations by now, but hey.....this was Fidda we were talking about. But also as Tsu tugged, she too began to budge. Using her own strength, or what was left, she began to push herself upwards with each pull until she was free.

In fact, she rather came flying out of the hole with a scream, dropping her part of the branch and straight into legs. For a moment she lay dazed, not remembering a single thing that had happened. Her feathered earring was all ruffled, her bracelets nearly falling off, and her necklace was twisted and wrapped up around her muzzle. It was rather pathetic really. And she knew it. She could only glance up at him, doing her best to mumble an apology, but seeing as her mouth was bound of sorts, that was rather hard. In stead she gave a weak smile and blinked at him with large, wide, sparkling pink eyes.

As Fidda came free with a sucking sound and then cannoned into his legs with a scream, he fell onto his backside, letting go of the branch. Slightly dazed, he chuckled, before shaking himself off, and nudging the branch aside, returning to his feet, and turning to the sparkly pink eyes, smiling awkwardly. Wasn't something he usually did...but he could practice.

"We seem to meet in the most interesting situations, Fidda. Here, let me help."

He lay down, and peered close to her muzzle, delicately untangling the string with his claws, and trying not to hurt her, or damage her necklace. His face was set into a mask of concentration, the tiniest hint of a pink tongue poking out as he untangled the jewellery. After finishing untangling her necklace, he began carefully grooming the mud from her fur, pushing it off with his paws and then wiping his paws on the grass. By the time he was done, she wasn't clean, but she was certainly less dirty than before.
