This RP is for Thosi Pandryl (Divena and DivenasMom) and Axel (Sunchasher9000)  Thosi furled her wings so she could drop out of the sky and land gracefully by the river she had spotted. She refused to wince as the landing caused a slight pain to shoot through her legs. If she was the type to admit when she was wrong, she might have acknowledged that her descent was a little too quick. She wasn't the type to acknowledge when she was wrong, though, even to herself, so she ignored it and kept her head raised, proudly, as she gave a quick glance around the area.

 Axel's head was bent to the stream, his muzzle partially submerged in the water as he drank. The water was nice and cool, just what he'd needed after his exploring. He'd covered lots of ground and found many interesting places, but unfortunately, none of these places harbored much anything that interested him. There were a few nice rock formations, but no ladies. What good was someone as handsome as him if there were no ladies around? He happened to glance up and spotted a strange looking creature coming near. But what luck! She was a she! Bingo!, he thought, as he straightened himself and strode over toward her. "Hey there, babe. What are you doing out this far?"

Thosi blinked and arched a brow to hide the fact that he had startled her just a bit. How in the world could she have missed a creature that was so very.... pink? She shoved that aside, not really caring. The important thing was not appearing as though he had caught her off guard. Well, that and...
"Babe?" she repeated, stiffly.

She stared at him for a moment, trying to mentally translate what he was saying. Finally, she asked, "Do you have a death wish?" No one spoke to her in such a manner. So blatantly.... inviting. She wasn't certain if she should be offended or flattered. She chose to go with irritated. "Who taught you how to speak to a lady?"

Axel grinned, "Most ladies tend to like the way I talk to them. All I was offering was a massage. If you've been flying as much as I have, I understand how easily those muscles can tense up. Just a friendly offer for a pretty mare. Nothing more than that. Think of me as a good Samaritan, out to help all those women in need."

"It's your prerogative to say no. I wouldn't force anything upon you." Axel snorted in disgust, "I find those kinds of things to be despicable. Males who feel the need to do such things should be eliminated." He shook his head, causing his braid to flop around near his feet. "You're not overly friendly, are you?"

"Friendliness is for those with little confidence," Thosi sniffed. "Why should I go out of my way to make someone like when I'd have to go against my nature to do so? It makes no sense."

"Not all friend ask you to be someone you're not." Axel pawed at the ground, "Any person who doesn't accept you as you are isn't someone who you should call a friend. I would even go so far as to say that one needs confidence to have friends, as you must be confident in yourself before another will see your worth."
