This is a stickup!
New Years Resolution: Get in touch with old friends.
HI OLD FRIENDS DO YOU STILL EXIST?
I noticed that nobody has posted anything since LAST YEAR.
So I assume this guild is pretty much dead sad
But the front page looks the same as when I left, so it's like coming home, only without the comfy furniture. And the home is kinda empty.
...bad analogy.

How have you been, my dear?
Busy Soooooo busy. I own a business. Well, co-own. I work there from 9am to 9pm three nights a week, and 9am to 11pm the rest. It's tiring, but I enjoy it. It's a comic book shop/cyber cafe/gaming lounge type deal. Just a place to go and hang out with friends, playing video games or reading comics or playing cards etc. Some days I wish I had more time to myself, but for the most part, it's pretty damn awesome. How 'bout you? edit: Reading this made me feel old. D: I assure you, I'm still just as immature as before! I hope. =|

see those are some crazy a** hours. I like being in england where there are laws on how long people can work. o.o;
Because yeah over 40 hours is crazy tiring anyway and jesus christ having to work until 11 and then get up at 9 again is COMPLETELY unreasonable. D:

Oi! I'm in Canada! Also, an employee couldn't work this many hours. Not legally, anyway. But because I partially own the business, I work whenever I want. And getting a new business off the ground (even one based on an existing business changing ownership) takes one hell of a lot of work. v_v; But...yeah...we're probably gonna change our hours to be 10 or 11am opening except on weekends. Right now we just use the first couple hours to clean up and stock and whatnot. OH! I'm posting from the shop so I might actually have pictures! *rummages around my desktop*

Indeed it is, but it's not your average internet cafe. Those are all up to date gaming rigs. And we have a few xBox's with big TV's and a big screen at the back with a PS3 on it for movie night type things. And we sell comics (as you can probably tell) and hobby stuff too. And we have gaming tables for people to play said hobbies (ie. Magic the Gathering, YuGiOh, D&D, Warhammer) on. AND we have a tiny kitchen in the back for making pizzas and snacks and stuff. counter-top oven, microwave, freezer, all that. I AM IN A LOT OF DEBT because getting this place running was VERY PRICY. But our finances are in the green enough that three people can live off it as we very VERY slowly pay down the debt. =D
