As one approaches the staircase, their eyes will meet a good sized rotating rack near the door to the stairs. Within it are small compartments that contain various pairs of shoes both for men and women, old and new, clean and dirty.

A small sign is affixed to the edge of the rack:

"Feet weary from the road? Leave your shoes here and you will be weary no more."

As one climbs the stairs, if they are not wearing shoes, they will feel an almost magical relief on this floor. The floor is made of tatami but of a grade that is amazingly soft. Any back pain, leg pain, or weariness will leave the feet of the traveler on these stairs. If one wears shoes, they will find the stairs easy to climb and cushioned but each step in shoes leaves a small indention in the carpet as they step up the stairs.

Once a visitor finds their way to the hall upstairs, they will find the floor as soft as can be, each step without shoes is amazingly relaxing. Each room is marked with gold letters across a solid mahogany door, each room on the first upstairs level are in the 200's and 300's in the floor above. Each door contains a keyhole near the knob for easy locking and unlocking.

Within each room, the visitor will find a room that is designed with amazing comfort and style as the primary objectives. Were they to be shoeless, they will find that the floor in this room can only be compared to walking on a perfect cloud. Pain fades from the body and a sense of tranquility overtakes them. Were one to be wearing shoes, they would find the floor to be likened to walking around an inflatable moon bounce and stepping with shoes might even feel slippery even though it is not actually so.


The bed is raised a bit higher off the ground than the rest of the room and laying on it feels even softer than feet on the carpet. The whole bed almost seems to envelope the one in it with comfort that is almost unnatural. Outside the window is a stunning view of the grounds with some rooms showing the beach below the inn and some showing the amazing forested lands upon which the place was built. The sitting area is designed for comfort and to help one enjoy the amazing views of the area.


Through a door leading off to the side, a visitor will find an amazing Japanese inspired bathroom with 10' soaking tub and shower bucket. By sharing the window wall with the main room, each bathroom provides the same amazing view of the breathtaking land around the inn. The water seems to run at the perfect temperature with a twist of each knob and along the edge of the bath, a visitor can find a heating mechanism that, when activated can turn the bathtub into a hot tub with little effort. All the hardware from sink to tub to toilet seems to be a perfect fit to the room.
