Shadow, to put it bluntly, isn't human. He may look it, and act like one, but he's actually a geneticly made being. The Ultimate Lifeform, they call it. He can drive or pilot any vehicle, he's strong, he can run fast, he can stop time(which makes him seem even faster), and many other interesting things. He's been doing missions for the government his whole life. But it wasn't until recently he discovered that this 'Ultimate Lifeform' scientists talked about was actually him. He wants out of this place, but because of a tracking wristband, he can't.
What if Shadow managed to escape, and a girl found him? What if she was sympathetic towards him? Besides Shadow's attempts at telling her to get lost, what would happen?

Age: Unknown, but he looks around 23
Personality: Find out
Bio: Shadow was born in a labratory, growing up in a test-tube until he was fourteen. He was taught about society, and how to live in it. He was taught how to use his skills. But he never knew that he wasn't human, and never knew that he was the 'ultimate lifeform' he heard the scientists talking about. He was sent on secret missons, and returning not only successful, but with better results then people expected. Then he overheard a conversation between two military recruits. They were discussing how the ultimate lifeform did jobs well, and mentioned some of the jobs Shadow did. He realized that HE was the ultimate lifeform....And that he was just a puppet to these people. Not only is he furious, he wants out of this place. But this isn't possible, because of a tracking bracelet on him.
Other: He can run very fast, he can jump very high, he's very powerful, his hair is unable to be changed from the color of red and black(no matter how much you try to dye it), his eyes are red, and he has funky shoes that seem to grow with him.

Name: Alice Heart Age: 21 Personality: She is often quiet and pushed around, but also caring and loving. When she sees Shadow, she wants to help him wholeheartedly, no matter how many times he shoots her down. Bio: She led a pretty normal life, working in a small cafe before she met Shadow. After she found him, she wanted to care for him as much as she could. Hearing his story, it made her worry for him. She wanted to make sure Shadows life wasn't as terrible as it began, but he keeps on pushing her away. She simply refuses to take no as an answer. Other: She sings very well. Image:

(Oh, and I'm adding a new rule in a second :3)
(Another reason I might not respond for a bit is because I has a lot of roleplays. I keep telling myself, 'Okay Laura, you're overworked. Don't make any more.' Then I get an idea, and poof, more roleplays! gonk )
On a hill near a city, there was a top-security building surrounded by a barb-wired fence. Inside was where the scientists did their experiements. Their biggest achievement was a human-like creation called Shadow. He was kept inside a room with four-feet thick metal walls, but that had all the objects of a human teen.
Shadow was sitting on the egde of his bed, tugging at the odd object which was a tracking device. It was metal, and a blinking red light on it, as well as wrapped around his wrist. "Damn this thing." he muttered to himself. He glanced around, looking for something that might be able to break it. Nothing. Scowling, Shadow layed back, staring at the ceiling.

((Oh I hate that! And then when there's no one on you make more, and it goes really slow, but then they all start going again and there's too much to handle!! XD Nice name by the way, I'm Diana. biggrin ))
Alice browsed through the aisle of the store, picking up cans of soup and party dip. Once she made her way around the store and got the items processed at the cash register, she paid and walked out, her grocery bags in hand.
She walked to her apartment slowly, not a care in the world, looking up at the sky and smiled at the moon as it shone brightly, illuminating her path home.

(Pretty : D And I know, right? Then I forget some and people are like, 'Vegeta? Are you gonna post or what?' xD)
Shadow looked up at the sound of his door opening. A man entered. The man's eyes widened, seeing an empty room. "Shadow?" The next second, he was out cold, being caught by the neck and thrown to the side. "Sorry docter. I'm not staying tonight." And with that, Shadow sprinted from the room. Almost immediately, alarms went off. He ran past all of scientists and people bringing food to other 'experiments'.
"What was that?"
"I think it was Shadow."
"What's he doing out?"
Shadow didn't stop to listen to these people, but ran to the security room, where two people opened and closed gates, as well as handled locking up the joint. He hit them both on the back of the necks, making them fall forward in their chairs, unconsious.
"Let's see here....How to open the gate." Shadow murmured to himself, leaning over a bit to see the complicated machinery. He began pressing random buttons. Doors and windows opened and closed, lights flashed, and a bunch of mish-mash happened. Then the barb-wired gate opened. "There we go." He left the room, and got outside to the gate, went through, and ran down the hill, along the way punching any guards getting in his way.
(Oh, and all this happened in the fraction offffffffffffffffffff about five minutes. mrgreen )

((XD It's like gonk I forgot about you guys!))
Alice was near her apartment in a bout five minutes. She was looking up at the stars almost the whole way over and she almost past her house. She walked upstairs and put the groceries away before going out into her balcony and looking at the stars again, trying to find constellations.
She smiled to herself and wondered how many wishes people we're making to these stars at this very moment. She wanted a wish too, so she shut her eyes for a while then opened them and looked up, grinning.
((Well, he's not fast for nothing XD I used to LOVE sonic games.))

(Sorry that I didn't reply, but two things have been going on that have making me laugh my head off.
ONE: My sister got this Michael Jackson video game for the wii, and my brother wanted to see how it worked, cause yo udance with them, and it's so funny looking. xD
TWO: Minostone 'San Frinsysco Style' soup looks like dookie. Which is to say, poop. O_O Even after it's cooked. And my sis made it, and told us about it. Then my dad tried it, probably to say it wasn't that bad, but his expression said that point was down the drain too. XD)
There was a loud screech, indicating a car had come to a sudden halt. "What the hell was that?!" shouted the man driving. He had seen a black-and-red blur speed past him. Shadow skidded in order to stop, coming to it infront of Alice's house, and under her balcony. He looked over his shoulder. In the way distance, guards were running down the hill in order to pursue him. He was surprised they hadn't found him sooner, then remembered he had broken the machine which was connected to the tracking device on him. They would not be able to find him.

Alice looked down when the man suddenly yelled, then looked down even lower to see Shadow. "Oh my gosh. . ." She ran down to open the door, then walked up to him. "Are you okay?" She scanned his body. "You wanna come inside?"

Shadow looked at her. "No." was all he said, before looking over his shoulder again. The guards had caught up quickly.
"SHADOW! COME BACK HERE!" yelled one of them.
"IN YOUR DREAMS, JACKASS!" Shadow replied, before running off again in a flash.
(Shadow's a pottymouth. xD He's much meaner here then in the games where he's a hedgehog, don't you think? xD)

Alice gasped as he darted off in a blur. She watched as he ran from the guards and stopped one of them. "What's going on here?" She looked around, concerned for the poor man.

(No, he doesn't. In my new one, there's a young shadow and an old one in the same timeline(the futurE). The old one claims that Sonic destroyed the world O_o But then there's the younger Shadow collecting Chaos Emeralds to HELP Sonic SAVE the world....Oh, and the old one doesn't has a mouth. ._. Methinks something ish wrong with that picture, don't you?)
"I apologize, ma'm." said the guard hurriedly, taking off his hat politely, then putting it back on. "But that's top-secret information." Then he ran around her, going after Shadow.
Shadow walked out of the alleyway seperating Alice's apartment from the one next to it. He watched the guards running, smirking slightly. "Idiots."

She watched as the guard ran off and twiddled her thumbs nervously when she heard Shadow speak from the alley. She looked around to see if they we're watching, and peeked around to see him. "Hey you're not a murderer or anything, right? You can hide out in my apartment if you want. . ." She whispered.
