User Image Siciro slowly made his way through the trees, the occasional twig snapping under his hooves. His tail swayed from side to side as he gracefully made his way through the trees. It was a nice day, from what one could tell. The sun was gently filtering down through the leaves to caste a sort of greenish and lush glow to the ground below. There was as well a gentle breeze that kept slipping between the trees to run along Siciro's fur.

He couldn't be sure, but he felt this was possibly one of the best days so far. He had been wandering for about two days now with no real set place in mind. His mind hadn't been able to focus on any singular thing, and as such he had simply had no real grounding point. He was tangled within his own mind and as such the outside world around him didn't register fully.

He wasn't even sure where he had slept last night, just that he had slept. It was about the time he was trying to figure out just where he was that a sound caught his attention. This caused him to stop in his endless walking and his mind to actually focus on one particular thing completely. It had been a soft sound, like the wisp of a mane or the soft sound leaves made when stepped on. He glanced around him, his ears twitching this way and that to pick up on any lingering sounds. However there didn't seem to be any.

Well aside from the normal sounds, of birds and the like. It occurred to him then that he was in the middle of a forest. He was in the middle of a forest and wasn't completely sure how he had gotten there. Once more he looked around him, only this time he focused on the trees and the actual scene around him. He was positive there was no reason for him to worry, but he had to admit that he wasn't positive on his location.

He was for sure in a forest, the forest itself didn't seem to hold an evil aura. So that must mean he wasn't near any evil herds. Birds were chirping happily and the wild life around him seemed to be at peace, the trees were tall and they looked vaguely familiar so he guessed he was still fairly close to home. However he was entirely unsure of the exact location. No matter he thought vaguely to himself, when he heard the sound again.

This time he was positive he had heard something. His ears flicked forward with interest but he stated still, his tail only swaying slightly by his hoofs. Whatever it was, it would undoubtedly either move away from him or closer and he had to admit he was a bit curious as to what it was. If it was anything supremely dangerous, not that he thought it was, but if it was he could always run away. However until such a time as he felt threatened he would stay where he was.

The bright, golden female rustled in a near berry bush. For the past day or so Aaurshi had started to feel a bit put-off. As she chewed on the black berries she had stumbled upon, the femme mulled over the bit of information she had come to realize. What had distressed her the most, was the bit of information was about her father. The bottom-lined fact was, her father was an overbearing bigamist. Recently she had come to find out what that word meant, and began to notice all the signs pointing to her father being one. With him always telling her that females were fragile, weak, and should stay close to males, it wasn't very hard to place the accusation. More than that, though, he was constantly watching over her! She knew that she had only recently come into adulthood, but he was still treating her like a newly hatched foal! Now she was reduced to sneaking away under the cover of night, and staying away until the next one, only to come back to more bickering on the subject of her freedom - or in this case, the lack thereof.

Exhaling in an airy sigh, Aaurshi moved away from the blackberry bush. The wind fluttered in the feathers of her wings, causing her to feel uneasy. Staring at the ground, she opened her wings and then repositioned them against her flank. She was still a young, adolescent mare, she thought. Why should she have to worry about such things, so quickly? Surely there would be more time for worry and distresses, such as these, later on in life? The young mare chuckled dryly to herself, not bothering to watch her path before her. If she didn't worry about these now, then she feared that she would never be given the chance to live her life without the control over her father.

With the final 'cluck' of her tongue, disapproving of her own self, she tossed her head into the air - mane tossing widely, and shook her head with another one of the laughs. Here she was with time away from her father, and she was using it just to think of him again. When she opened her shockingly blue eyes again to check her surroundings, she stopped abruptly, only to gasp.

Aarushi was only inches away from a very large, and strangely colored stallion. His colorful mane didn't match the rest of his body, but she found that to be slightly comforting - like his visible discordance soothed her emotional one. The other thing she noticed about the male was that he had a tail like her sister's - though she'd never seen the spiked appendage on his head before. He also had eyes just as strikingly blue as her own, "Um...sorry to uh...come out of nowhere?" Aarushi wasn't exactly sure why she had phrased that as a question, but it was probably just the fact that she was still perplexed with him....and the fact that she had been so obvious to her surroundings to wander up to another without notice.

Siciro had stood there for a long moment until finally a golden mare had come into his line of sight. He was about to say something when he noticed that she seemed deep in thought. He didn't want to disturb her and thus he remained quiet. He was also sort of wanted to see if she would notice him. As she was heading straight toward him and he couldn't help but wonder if the femme was going to walk right into him or stop. Though with how deep in thought she seemed to be, there was a very big possibility that she was going to walk right into him.

As he waited he took note of her very bright colors. She was almost as golden as the sun itself. There was very little color aside from gold on her and she was small looking. He took note of the very... messy? that didn't seem like the completely right word, but it would have to do for now. Her very messy mane, it was very pretty but it didn't seem to have any method to it, he decided that he liked it. It was very pretty and for some reason he felt it fit her. Though he knew little to nothing about her.

Though what interested him more than anything was the wings that lay along her back. They looked like that of a bird, only much longer than any birds he had ever seen. They were very lovely, and he wondered for a moment if they would be soft or not. He had come across some very soft feathers as well he had come across some very thick and almost rough feathers. He had to admit he was very interested in hers. As well he sorta of questioned if she was capable of flight. He had never seen someone fly; well someone that wasn't a bird or butterfly or something like that.

He was brought from his thoughts as she stepped closer to him, it seemed she really was going to run into him. Siciro was just about to speak to her when she stopped and seemed to notice him. He gave a light sway of his tail and bowed his head in greeting, his horn catching in the light that managed to make it through the trees.

"It's quite alright. I took notice of a strange sound, which seems to have been you. So it really wasn't a surprise to me. Though I do wonder just what you were thinking about. You almost ran into me. I was starting to worry you might have been in some sort of trance." He said, his head lifting and his ears trained on her. What a very interesting mare.

Those blue eyes of hers were trained on the male's horn, watching the light refract off of it and go off in a million different directions as he moved his head. Aarushi almost had to forcibly drag her eyes away from it so that they could train on his face, only to start noting features about that - instead of replying to him, like they way his face has the remnants of a hard lining like her father yet rounder and his snout seemed to curve more than should be normal. After having continued to stare for a moment or two, she seemed to twitch out of her stupor and looked right into his eyes, suddenly turning defensive as her brows furrowed together with hints of irrational accusation and distrust tangling in with the simple facial expression.

"Strange sound?" She snorted and eyed him warily, "I've only just met you and you've already called me strange. What a rude male you seem to be." Aarushi pawed at the yellow green ground, her pointed hooves unearthing brown dirt to mix in with the grass. A light breeze ruffled over the two, ruffling both of their manes and her wings, it felt mild and deliciously good against her short fur. The trees and grass bent along with it's invisible strength, somehow seeming almost happy to bend to it's will. The light, carefree gust didn't seem to fit in with her current mood of anguish - but perhaps it was just one of those days where nothing seemed to fit. In a slow motion, both of her ears flattened back, but then perked up again, quicker than they went down as she slowly drew her eyes over the male once more. All at once she felt bad for snapping at him. He probably wasn't really calling her strange, more than likely he had probably just meant what he had said.

As she stepped back, her expression softened the smallest bit - losing the accusation, but her brow was still furrowed with distrust. "Why should I tell a stranger my problems? Who knows what you'd do with my information - for all I know you could just be another drop of frustration in my pond of distress." Aru lowered her head and sighed. Its true, after all. What if all males were like her father? Ok, probably not all males were, but what if this one was? Wouldn't that just be delightful, it would only be her misfortune to run into him then. Her wings spanned out as she lifted her head and cocked it to the side, her face suddenly softening completely - allowing her visage to take on the true feminine beauty she had been born with. She wasn't really seeing him though, and at the same time she was looking at all of him. Her gaze was almost wistful. What if he wasn't like her father? Perhaps it was better to converse with a stranger than to tell someone she knew. Either way, it's not like she knew anyone at all yet, not with her father breathing down her neck. Maybe.....just maybe she could make a friend here - if she opened up first.

The mare suddenly felt extremely light and happy, laughter bubbled out of her. Perhaps it was the fact that her troubles may get the chance to be spoken aloud instead of weighing heavily on her mind - whatever the cause, she liked the feeling. She knew, however, that she must seem perplexedly strange, but they could mull over that later. "Never mind my earlier question, Stranger, instead answer my next one" Aarushi stepped forward, eyes wide, "What are your thoughts on females?"

Siciro blinked at her in a sort of languid manner as she called him rude. He hadn't meant to be rude and really he had no idea how him hearing an odd sound had somehow translated into him calling her strange. "I don't understand how me hearing a strange sound translated into you being strange. You were simply the cause of the sound, not that you are yourself are strange." He stated in all honesty glancing her over once more before falling silent as she went on about other things.

He shook his head and let a shiver run down his body as the wind blew across it. She was speaking about telling others her problems which only seemed to confuse the male as he pawed at the ground gently. "I didn't ask to know your problems, only what you were thinking about. How was I to know that you were thinking about your problems and not something else completely?" He stated with another head shake as he glanced the female over. "I know nothing about you, let alone that you even had problems. As for what I would do with the information... well what would I do with the information? Exactly what could I do with it? They are your problems there is little I could do with it other than try and help." He stated with a slight nod of his head as he eyed the female once more.

He watched her carefully as her demeanor seemed to change completely. Siciro was honestly a bit taken off guard by the question that was sprung on him. What did he think about females? Well he hadn't ever really thought on it before. "I haven't ever really thought on it before." He stated in complete honesty with the mare for he felt honesty was the best option at all times. "I suppose I think well of them. They are gentle and kind souls that rear young. They have strong bodies and while smaller than males they come in all sorts of packages. There are some that are very brave and very outgoing. There are some that are even stronger than some males. I suppose it just depends on the personality of the female?" He gave a soft snort before shaking his head once more. "I suppose that doesn't just go for females. My thoughts on someone range person by person. I can't really group them all together now can I? I suppose my thoughts on females in general is that they should all be seen as equals and you should let them tell you how they wish to be treated. Instead of assuming that because one is this way they all are." He said giving a firm nod afterwards as if to confirm his point.

Aarushi's eyes were wide, and her mouth agape. After a moment or two, she abruptly shut it. Following that an outrageous blush spread across her cheeks and she glanced down in profound embarrassment. She stood a moment or two and then shuffled, she blinked at him and at the same time tried her hardest not to look at him. She had nothing to say and didn't know that she could say something that didn't make the situation worse. "I am....profoundly.....embarrassed and apologetic." She laughed lightly and looked away, ending in a sigh. "I uh...well, never mind. I would just start going on about my problems again - Always only thinking about myself."

The young mare stepped away from him but kept her eyes on him, "You are entirely correct, and I, again, am sorry for snapping at you." She nodded and twisted her head in a way that she was saying she assumed as much, "Yes, that seems typical -" She pegged him with her stare and explained in all sincerity, "I mean that with no harm, just...I mean, Why would you? Again, no offense." She felt uncomfortable now, like she were walking on egg shells. Aarushi listened with her ears perked, even though her expression seemed to say she was hoping he would speak the words she wished he would. A slow smile spread over her features, "If you don't mind me saying - I like you." She chuckled and flicked her tail, "Well, that is to say, you seem pretty ok. At least you put my mind at ease, instead of on guard." She frown briefly, "Im doing it again, aren't I? - Talking about my problems? Um.........My name!" Her eyes met his, "My name is Aarushi, by the way." Looking up at the sky, and then back at him she said, "May I know yours?"
