- OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE!:
Ridley is no homebody, if she's not at school or not doing her homework, she will be found outside running, jumping, laughing, rolling and being a ball of energy under the sun. Well, hell, she'd probably also be doing her homework outside. If its raining, she's in the puddles, the day after she is in the mud, and clear days she's rolling in the grass. She loves nature, she likes being in the sun and she loves to wander and explore.
And not to be taken in a way that she is a tomboy, Ridley is still a girly-girl at heart and will just get her pretty clothing all dirty. With three messy children and a husband who plays just as hard, her mother has become the master of the laundry.

Even with her need to be in the wide open air, Ridley is a child of this generation and connected to technology. Computers, handheld games, pokewalkers, television, you name it. She's not a technological wizard, not one to be able to build you a computer but she is the one in the family that is asked to fix the router and modem when the internet suddenly goes down.
Her main technology of choice, though, is her iPhone. Jailbroken, of course, and covered in the most shock resistant protective case money can buy. She has really no one to call on it [she is nine], but it keeps her connected to at least her family and to the internet which she uses on a frequent basis as she often needs to figure out the world around her [yay for Google!].
- Soccer:
So, it isn't really much of a passion or even something she loves to do, but Ridley has been enrolled in AYSO since she was about six. Partly, for her to find a sport in a sports loving family and also for her parents to find something for her to do that would burn off that energy. Soccer just seemed to be the more heavily involved and the one that actually kept her interest, so it just kind of stuck.
Ridley is a Forward [usually Striker] but sadly, often penalized for beating up the other kids. [Too bad hockey is so demanding, perhaps in a couple of years ~]
- KITTENS:
If there was any weakness to this girl, besides well.. her weaknesses, it would be cats. Her shelves are littered with little cat figurines and there won't be any hesitation when you ask her what her favorite animal is. She loves all sorts of cats from wild to domestic and adores her own cat Pris to pieces. Ridley has also been known to love all the other cats she finds .. and brings home, much to the annoyance of her neighbors when she steals borrows their cats.
Virtues:
- EVERYTHING IS AWESOME:
There are no grey clouds in the world of Ridley, okay, they have the ability to come in from time to time and spoil the mood but its nothing that some positive thinking, happy thoughts and a swift kick in the rear can't do to get the skies to clear up.
She has a high opinion on everything, the glass is half full [hell, she'll make it full if you'll let her] and goes into new territories - especially new territories - full of optimism and with the best intentions. There are so very few things that get her down, she tries not to let them, tries to bear through them with a smile and a laugh even if she just wants to break down in tears [which will eventually happen, since sometimes a good cry will make everything okay again].
- Eventually, she'll figure it out:
Not to say she's slow or stupid, but complex things are just ... complex. And sometimes the things that a lot of people get right away, can confuse her. Ridley often doesn't handle being caught in the contemporary or normal ways, so she tries to figure out a way that will make her understand it. Sometimes it's on her own with just a bit of imagination and thinking, sometimes other people are able to lend a hand via physically being there to help ... or well, the internet [iphone comes in handy, am I right?].
The point is, she'll work hard and drive herself to get those tricky solutions that she needs to go on to the next situation.
- I'm jacked up on Mountain Dew!:
And she's going to come at you like a spider monkey. Ball. of. energy. Need we say more? Okay, we'll say more. She's like a small... er child on Halloween, like she's consumed a pound of sugar in one go that can last practically all day. And no one knows where it comes from [people speculate there is a hidden stash of pixie sticks somewhere]. This of course leaves her loud, a little obnoxious, in your face [wanting to know who you are and what your favorite color is], full of giggles [sometimes without reason] and a playful nature.
-Manners from the unlikely
Is there an off switch? Hard to believe but yes. These things, of course, aren't engrained in a small child, they have to be taught by diligent and patient parents. It took years of planning, years of training her like a seal or a dog, but somehow her parents managed to get some sort of behavioral structure into their daughter. It just took a lot of incentive and positive reinforcement [and, again, years of work]. It's the basics really, mind your elders, be quiet when you are told, DO what you are told and use your indoor voice. Ridley knows to behave in school - though recess tends to be fair game and where every rule is broken, church, around some of her grandparents and relatives, and when important people come to the house. It's hard for her, she wants to be in everyone's face and be loud and happy… but she knows that she'll be rewarded for her efforts in the end.
Her parents use the sticker on the calendar method and at the end of the month, she'll get a bigger reward. It's worked since she was five, why stop now? [even though her brothers totally didn't get that, but they were good children who sit still without needing to be bribed!]
Flaws:
- strike first and ask questions later:
Many of her teachers and peers see her as a bully, really [odd, I know. She's way too happy to steal lunch money]. But it doesn't help that Ridley has the slight problem with hitting people, insulting people and being a little agressive when her buttons are pushed the wrong way. It could be seen as a defense mechanism, but its more of a learned defense from the years of having to contend with two older brothers, well on their way of teaching her the ways of sibling-fu and brother cage brawling which rubs off on their little sister. Her first response, reaction or anything, to verbal insults or even just touching her is most likely a kick in the shins with her own slew of colorful language [also learned from her brothers].
Of course, she will apologize profusely - and a little too much - if she punched you in the face when you were just trying to say hello or some other kind gesture [otherwise, you probably deserved it].
-Taking the long way:
A flip-side of eventually figuring it out. Sometimes the path to discovery is a long winding road when there was that obvious short-cut a few miles back. It often takes Ridley a while to figure things out, mostly complex things but sometimes a few of the simpler ones that conventional thinking people get in mere seconds. And sometimes... its her own damn fault for making it so difficult because she doesn't want to take the easy route when she believes there is a better way of figuring it out on her own, or the few instances she's too stubborn to ask for help.
... and sometimes, she's slow on the uptake when the obvious answer is staring right at her face.
- Overwhelming and a little overboard:
Hyperactivity coupled with barrels of optimism is bound to lead all kinds of obnoxious. Not to mention, how she generally just reacts to things - be it with EXTREME OPTIMISM or a punch in the face [with a smile on her own]. Ridley can be unbearable at times, reducing many to tears trying to figure out an escape plan from the chattering little monkey [or cursing aloud, trying to figure out why this small child just kicked them in the shins]. She clings to people [abused or not]; to talk their ears off, find out things about them and what makes them awesome. Unless she's grown bored of you - which really never happens - or gotten all she can - again, never happens - or gets distracted - most likely - be prepared to never shake off the little leech.
It's all out of love and adoration though <3
-Focus *eyetwitch* Ridley …. focus.
One could say that Ridley is a little unreliable and has a one track mind, but there is the excuse that she is still only nine years old. But, Ridley is a little forgetful at times, set on something and most likely distracted by her own endeavors. She can really only concentrate on one thing at a time and asking her to do something while her mind is elsewhere, watching a movie, on her iphone, half awake in the morning, is basically futile. Tasks often need to be told to her several times and at different intervals in order for her to actually accomplish them unless you manage to get to her before she's started something on her own … and make it sound exciting for her to want to do it, then she'll focus on your task easy-peasy. Reminding her later about something with only garner an 'Oh yeeeeah, thaaaat' to which she might actually get cracking on it or let the thoughts be lost once again.
She's also the type that really needs to work in silence, or have something she's listened to and watched a thousand times in the background or the new thing will totally steal her attention.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: wide, childish and burnt orange.
Hair: yellowish orange, bright and happy in color [like an orange peel]. Pigtails, the longer strands look back into the bade of her head while the shorter strands hang loose. She also has longer strands that are pulled into braids to wrap around the bases of her pigtails. Pointy bangs upon her forehead and forelocks that frame around her face.
Face: round, chubby with baby-fat.
skin color: palepalepale.
Clothes: Even with her rough exterior, Ridley loves frilly girly clothing and clashes like a child from the 80's.

The Senshi Part!Senshi: Sailor Chibi Hygiea. Senshi of Herbs! Challenge: "Thyme for awesome!" "Thyme is of the essence!" "Herbal remedies are quite bitter" [its cuuute and not punny lame like mine xD ~] Fuku Colour: white ~ Main Color: yellow-orange [same as her hair] Secondary Color: BRIGHT PINK OMG Fuku: DRESS, CUTE, GIRLY and FRILLY. Collar -- Kinda! Not a pronounced collar like a typical sailor collar, its more of straps that start from her bodice that trial over her shoulders and end close to her knees. Main color with secondary trim. Bow -- does a belt count? It's a loose belt that circles twice around her waist and has tails. Its KIND of a bow. Darker shade of Main color. Bodice -- KINDA~ Its a princess cut that then flows into a gathered/ruffled dress. White. Sleeves -- Yes! Short cuffed sleeve which is attached to the bodice. White, cuff being main color. Brooch -- round, on her little belt and with the Hygeia symbol on it. Bottoms -- Aside from the bodice being a dress, Hygieia has another that overlays the white one. It doesn't completely cover, leaving a middle section open. Main color with secondary color trim. Klimpt influence? Tiara -- KINDA, more like a ribbon in the form of a tiara that gets lost in her hair with a jewel on it. Choker -- NOPE Shoes -- Leggings, secondary color. 1940's Captain America/WWII soldier inspired shoes. Main color and a darker shade of Main color. Gloves -- short white gloves, no accents. Accessories -- little pink circles/flowers in her hair and mostly woven into the braids in her hair with a few in her pigtails [AGAIN, see Klimpt!] All the chibi senshi seem to have a plush doll. Ridley demands a kitten REFERENCES. COLORS: Gundam 00 Haro! [the orange and pink combination, omg.. it fits so well] . DESIGNS: DOODLES More of the one on the left, but if you want more sailor then the one on the right? . KLIMPT! I think his painting of Hygiea is gorgeous and would love to incorporate some of the design elements into her fuku. . Captain America! His then shoes! They are awesome and simple. Boots and a cover. . Much of Hygiea's outfit comes from a mix of eras: 1860's [the top/dress], Bronze period [the belt], and 1550's [the over dress]. omg costume design class references! NOTE: I give full artistic liberties to whomever actually does Hygiea, this is just my ideal costume. If you would like more of just keywords or the items I would most definitely want; frilly, long collar/cape-like, belt instead of bow. Attacks:Sailor Scout Attack: Herbal Remedy Hygiea claps her hands together and then pulls them apart slowly to reveal an herb encased in a glowing orb of light. The herb will stay encased in the glow throughout its appearance on the field. Hygiea can either physical use it on someone [rubbed or absorbed], have people consume it or even throw it like a ball at a target. CONDITIONS . Can do this twice throughout a fight. But the first herb must be used before she can summon another one. . Herbs have a healing effect, but very minor; so applied externally only the cut or bruise it is applied to with be healed or soothed. If a major cut, scratch and is one that would require stitches, the herb will not completely heal it but at least make it more treatable and less prone to infection. If consumed, its like taking some pain killers [though, think of ibuprofen or Tylenol... not vicodin or the major ones] Super Sailor Scout Attack: Herbal Mix-up Hygiea claps her hands together, similar to her regular attack, but this time two herbs appear in the small glowing orb. She now has the option to use the two herbs on two different people or combine them for a SUPER effect. Again, she can physically use it on someone, have them consume it or throw it at someone. CONDITIONS . This time, the introduction of harmful herbs come into play [feeear]. The leaf will still look generic so she has no idea what kind she will have summoned. . NEW. Negative herbs. If applied externally, prepare for a rash! If applied internally, prepare for a stomach ache! These can linger as long as the player wants. . She can perform this twice, but the first two herbs cannot be on the field. If she does her regular attack before this, that also must be off the field before this goes. . Positive effects and Negative effects are boosted if she combines the herbs, these effects are technically doubled but are still considered minor; that rash is bigger and itchier, that stomach ache is super distracting and makes you kind of nauseous, those pain killers are acting a little better, wow that cut is pretty much gone! If a negative and positive are combined, it is negated and using the herb does nothing. Eternal Sailor Attack: Bowl of Hygiea Hygiea holds out her hands in front of her body, palms up as if forming a bowl. As she casts her attack, a warm glow suddenly fills her hands like filling it with liquid magic. She then swings her arms out to her sides, as if watering the ground with the glowing liquid. Then - WAIT FOR IT - a field of herbs suddenly springs up around her and any powered occupants on the field [sorry, civvies, no effects for you]. CONDITIONS . The field is as big as the distance of powered occupants are in the given area, so everyone can be effected by a status. The bigger the radius, the more power and the more tired Hygiea will be when its done. Maximum range is about 20 feet. . She can only do this once, since it takes a lot of energy out of her. . Effects will be random, either a field of helpful herbs or a field of harmful herbs. . Effects have the chance of being INSTANT if touched with bare skin, otherwise, the herbs will remain on the field as long as Hygiea is able to keep it up [I'd say about 5-6 TOTAL posts, so if she's in a meta .... someone please save her], so players can pick them up and essentially use them. . Many of the same conditions from the previous attacks can apply to her eternal attack but only Hygiea can combine the herbs to make them more effective - but she can only do two as with her super attack. HOW THE HERBS ARE USED: Consumed: Literally eating it. Most likely Youma will be the ones doing this as Hygiea doesn't want to shove things down people's throats. Internal Effects apply. Rubbed/Applied: Hygiea places the herb on the hurt area for the effect to take place. Can be rubbed or just placed. External Effects apply. Absorbed: Hygiea basically pushes the herb into you. Very Rarely happens as it takes a lot of energy. Internal AND External effects apply. IMPORTANT NOTES: . herbs work equally on both Senshi and Nega, they do not discriminate or work better for either side. So, yes. She can hurt her allies and help her enemies. . Throwing the herb ball is not an attack, its more of a nuisance and distraction if hit by it - which also doesn't hurt at all - or a way to get it to someone to make them take it. . And yes, players can refuse to be treated by Hygiea unless unconscious so they then have no say. OH YEAH! FACTSYOU WANT SOME? WELL YOU GET THEM ANYWHO. . Hygiea is one of ********* girls. BOO YEAH. . Hygieia is a Greek AND Roman goddess of Hygiene, cleanliness, health, sanitation and anything that relates to that really. . LOOK! WIKI GO READ. She also has a symbol, it involves a snake! . The asteroid, also spelled Hygiea [omg, confusing!] is the fourth largest asteroid in the main belt. It's large and in charge, but very far and very feint to see. . LOOK! WIKI AGAIN. GO READ THAT TOO.

Random Section of Random
- Ridley was named after Ridley Scott, her mother loves every Ridley Scott movies known to man-kind.
- Family cat is named Pris [GET IT?!]
- Is the bridge of the children that can be said brought the family together. Aaaw.
- Jock family, one older brother plays football and the other baseball. Dad loves sports, mom loves cars.
- Dad is the better cook of the family, but doesn't cook as often since he is always fightin' fires.
The Family!
. Jasper "Demolition" Pendergast - father, fire fighter. Tough build, buff and a powerhouse. Known as the 'Demolition' since he's usually the first one on the scene with his axe and just his body really, getting through the doors to get the remainders of people out to safety or just trying to get his fellow firefighters into the scene to knock the fires down.
He takes his job and his family very seriously, protective of both his families really and would fight for them until the bitter end. Especially so, to live up to the legacy his grandfather held when he was a firefighter [it skipped a generation, his father was an English teacher]. When home, he's still pretty intimidating but when his daughter came along, a lot of his edge got rubbed away [much to the amusement of his boys at the station].
Between the two parents, Jasper is the better cook and his meals are the most savored. His preferred sports are baseball, football and basketball and he commonly plays each one when given the chance.
. Monica Pendergast - [ nee' Sargsyan ] mother, works as an administrative assistant within Nissan. Monica got her start as a booth babe for the company, wearing those skimpy outfits at car shows and was featured in many calendars and promotional materials [that.. you know weren't trying to be all sophisticated]. She grew up around cars because of her dad, who restores classic cars and was just an all around diesel head. She 'retired' from the latex outfits when she married Jasper on her own accord and to just get herself a better job.
Monica is a little ditzy, clueless at time but her heart is in the right place and she means well. She's also pretty affectionate and doesn't hesitate to bestow hugs and kisses on her family - especially in public.
Can't cook worth beans but is magic when it comes to cleaning and housekeeping. She doesn't care much for sports, but supports all her family does and enjoys. She's more of a motor head, and loves race cars.
Loves Ridley Scott movies and classic sci-fi. And Top Gear [original!]
. Max Pendergast - olderest brother at 18, Monica's son from a previous relationship [a bad one, he was such a deadbeat]. She had him when she was 18 herself. Max is pretty well mannered and has his head on his shoulders, even managing to head himself to college with a football scholarship. But, he's usually the instigator among the children and was delighted to get a little brother [and later a sister] he could rough house with when they were younger. He's pretty gentle with Ridley, though, since he is double her age and height but it doesn't stop him really.
Jasper officially adopted him when he and Monica got married.
. Conner Pendergast - middle child at 15. Jasper's son from a previous marriage, no one knows what happened to his mother; some say she was last seen in Europe. Conner plays basketball at Meadowview but his real passion is cooking, something he picked up from his father and Italian grandmother. If his dad isn't around to cook things, he's usually the one to do it - while being supervised by Monica.. though he refuses to let her help.
Usually the one to bring Ridley into the brawls and plays with her the most since they are closer in age.
Like with Max, Monica officially adopted him when she and Jasper married.
. Pris - family cat, nine years old. A silver classic tabby Maine Coon cat, huge, tubby and fluffy. When the family figured they were not going to be having anymore children, they rescued Pris from a local shelter. And then, Ridley came along, and Pris was not pleased. The cat became rather disgruntled towards everything and everyone, especially Ridley. But, oddly enough, over the years it was Ridley that Pris turned to following around and sleeping with; becoming a big old softy in the end.
. Dodger - family dog, four years old. A Classic Tri Beagle. Manly men do not have cats, they have dogs. And when it seemed that Pris was clearly going to be more of an angel towards the females of the house, the three men of the family went ahead a got themselves a dog. They got Dodger, who more or less barks at anything when he's outside and loves to piss of Pris when he's inside. He's a good dog, though, and very affectionate [especially when you have food!] and is sadly a little overweight with how many treats he's given per day. The boys are pretty good with running with him throughout the day, though ... but the treats are still a problem.

An idea for her sphere, perhaps she could be the senshi of fitness or physical health? she could have her attacks more as buffs, increasing the strength of her friends, like a little mini-coach.
it would relate to health as in physical wellness, keeping in shape, and exercise. (cold baths, jogging in the morning, all that)
not sure if that's the kind of wellness you were looking for, but a flip-side could be mental health. she could be a psychiatrist, with powers that involve psychoanalyzing her opponents, causing them to doubt their motives and giving them debuffs or making them relive traumatic memories. alternately, she could help senshi work out their mental problems, helping them become more confident. and 'healthy. biggrin D
these are just some ideas i had relating to a sphere involving health, hope they're helpful!
also her outfit is adorable

LizzyMoo chirigami like you Lizzy, I see you on aim. Totally do! You fibs ;< you're attempts at the ninja arts is failing ~ interesting ideas, ami. I'm not sure how well Ridley would take to being a psychiatrist as she's must to hyper to listen but mental abilities, like causing unmotivation is an interesting idea to consider. Sweeney, I figured she would be support with how everything is with her name and such. Unfortunately, I think cleansing in that manner is stepping into Sailor Moon's territory [or so, Lizzy likes to point out to me xD]

I can't resist throwing you an idea because I had been thinking about sphere for Hygieia as well. You can use them freely since I might never quest Hygieia anyway.
Okay, here goes:
Sphere = Cleaning
Attack 1 (senshi) = A small wet towel appears and brushes against victim's face. It would distract them for some time (maybe 10 seconds?) and prevents them from doing anything but at least they're clean and won't get ill.
Attack 1b (super) = Same as above but it will lasts longer and maybe cleans the whole body.
Attack 2 (eternal) = A bucket of soapy water appears and spills the soap water in the direction the senshi wants. The ground turns slippery and anyone on that area would have harder time to keep balance.
Hope they look good or at least made you grin. xd

amicableAggressor .... senshi of oral hygene! :O her outfit could be tooth-fairy themed. .... noooo >>; LLK, sadly that's pretty much Hestia ^-^; Zero, in some ways they seem similar but I think Pathways could be done in a different manner, but I just not sure how well that fits with Hygieia. Though, a lot of spheres don't always 'match' the basis of the namesake after all....

3nodding I love this! I love how energetic she is.
I really like the diagnostics idea ninja
But, I also love herbs! You could do SO much with herbs (I have a couple books on plants and oils). Especially because you can take it in a naturopathy medicine way, or ancient remedies! I'm sure you could find a bunch of old folky- herbal remedies or ancient chinese remedies for things and run off that!
The only other thing I can think of is acupuncture, ;-; but children shouldn't play with needles. (although maybe relaxation (massage?) as a sphere though?)
