CHARMS!
At hogwarts: Charms is the class that teaches how to develop incantations for the uses of bewitchment. Rowling has described Charms as a type of magic spell concerned with giving an object new and unexpected properties. Charms classes are described as notoriously noisy and chaotic, as the lessons are largely practical. Many of the exposition sequences in the books are set in Charms classes, which are on the second floor of Hogwarts. Taught by Professor Flitwick.

WELCOME!
My name is Loving Life Forever, however you may call me Professor Farmer or Professor Kate instead. Now for everyone taking Charms, I would like to be able to talk to everyone at least four or more times a week. If I don't answer a question right away, do not start repeating them right away. I will report you to the Headmaster. I answer questions as soon as I can. Also anything you would like to ask me outside of class, please send a PM to me. The times I'm on generally differ from day to day depending on my real job so I'll try and keep you guys updated on when class will be held.

Homework
When I assign homework, it will be due by midnight EST a week following the assignment. So if I assign homework on a Tuesday, it needs to be in by midnight the following Tuesday. Please turn in all assignment by owl (PM) and in the heading, please include the assignment name and your class. Grades for assignments will be posted on the thread within a week.

Class for the week of 2/5-2/11 (All times are in EST)
Saturday: I'll be on throughout the day
Sunday: I'll be on after 11:30 am.
Monday: I'll be on between 9 am and 11 am and sometime again during the night. I'm not sure when
Tuesday: I'll be on between 9 am and 1:30 pm
Wednesday: I'll be on between 9 pm and 12 am
Thursday: I'll be on between 6 pm and 12 am
Friday: I'll be on between 9 am and 11 pm and 5 pm and 12 am

 Liviana MacLaren walked into class, demurely as usual. Her late entrance into Defense Against the Dark Arts was not something she wanted to repeat. She wanted to make a good impression, especially on the new Charms teacher.
Taking her usual seat, she smiled warmly at her friend Heart, and then read the assignment on the blackboard. Her hand shot up into the air as if it had be jolted with electricity. "I am Liviana MacLaren, and I'm a sixth year Ravenclaw, and prefect. Nothing really weird happened to me over the holidays," she paused. "Except, well...my parents actually sent me a Christmas card."
For the second time this year, Liviana's cheeks turned crimson. "Ah, uh, well, it would be weird if you actually knew them, Professor Farmer." She cleared her throat. "This year, I would like to learn more charms for lifting moods and ones that have a lot of practicality," she said stoically.
