Disney Channel has pretty much made it clear that they hate country and love Lady Gaga..

I like Lady Gaga....Of course, I haven't heard all of her songs ;D
I like PokerFace, Bad Romance, and....uh....One that goes 'don't say my name don't say my name' :3
Telephone isn't that bad either....Naturally, I haven't heard the whole song :]
What does Disney Channel have against Country? Sure the song lyrics can be odd some times to us city folk, but if you live in the country, they sound genius! D:<

I am trying to imagine Lady Gaga in Disney Channel and its....erm nevermind LOL no offence but i will choose country over Lady Gaga anyday. But I saw one mv of Lady Gaga's song and she is kinda pretty sweatdrop

Lady Gaga's music is good, but, i mean, think about it: Her clothing choices aren't always appropriate for the 7 year-olds that watch Disney Chanel. You know? blaugh As for the country thing, some of it is good, and some of it really isn't. stare

That is a great question, but if you noticed, and its not even that often that they've done this. In some of their shows they kinda make fun of liking country.
Wizards of Waverly Place: The animated zit "I will do antyhing but country'
Good Luck Charlie: The crowd laughs after Ivy tells Teddy her secret that she likes country music
Hannah Montanna: Ricko, enough said.
and the fact that whenever they have music in their show, its not country.
Just to point this out while Im on the topic of Disney Channel Hannah Montanna/Miley Cyrus is in NO WAY Country.

heart Well you want to know why so much people love her?
Its because shes exotic! You never exspect to see the same thing out of her.....
And you wonder about her weird clothing? She express`s herself through her clothing which ALOT of stars today dont have the guts to do. And also isnt kinda funny how after lady gaga came into the music world that people like Miley cyrus, Beyonce, etc started kinda copying her style? In videos like Mileys cyrus`s "Cant be tamed" Or Beyonce`s "Video phone".
When have those two stars EVER worn those types of cloths?
Lady Gaga does NOT care what people think about her music, Or style. Shes one of those people who come with their true selfs. Thats one of the reasons why i think most people like, And enjoy her music! Also i think that she pushed herself to kinda express herself because of the way she was treated in high school. Some of you may have known this and some may have not but she was extreamly made fun of in high school. (No i didnt make that up she said it in an interview) So Anyway thats just my views on it lol ^^ heart

Well... She's super talented, for one thing. She was accepted to Juilliard (and turned it down to go to Tisch!) for goodness sake. She's a classically trained pianist, and can actually sing well live without autotune.
Speechless (especially the live versions, which I prefer to the recorded version) is proof of this.
Sure, the style may be a gimmick. But I really admire her for her self-confidence.

It's not that she's avant garde by any means. The "out there" style has been done before by people far more talented. But she certainly has set herself apart from most of the other artists on the charts these days.
Still, I prefer her old look.
