Casually strolling along the mountainside, scanning for sweet little greens that had been overlooked, the carefree mare didn't seem to care too much to her surroundings; seemingly in her own little world. Bright eyes blinked slowly as a slightly snow powdered greenie was poking straight up, stemming from under a crack against the cold rock. A grin turned just a touch at the corner of her lips, neck lowering to tenderly nibble at the end of it, her flank giving a twitch as a cold wind rushed past her. Having spent plenty of time in the mountains now her body had grown used to the harsh winds, now only barely giving any recognition to them.

Billy was treading carefully along, a small leather pouch tied around his neck, looking (and hoping) for vegetation that had survived the cold winter. He would have them dried and saved for a rainy day. Though so far, he hadn't found much, his pouch pitifully empty. He grunted as he moved along, eyes moving this way and that, a bit peeved as he found nothing.
Well, whatever it was, he would have to persist, and hope by the end of the day he found enough for himself. Or he would have to come out tomorrow as well. Which he was sure that he probably might have to.

Her slender ears remained in a relaxed position, until a faint new scent made it's way to the mare's nose. Flicking them, she lifted her neck slowly to look around herself in a calm manner, nostrils giving a small flare to inhale the air. Blinking, she began to put the scent to a face and body. A slight smirk rose at the corner of her mouth, tail giving a gentle sway. She hadn't seen that old boy in awhile...
Moving down the rocky side, she traveled towards the source. After all, it wasn't often she'd meet others in this sort of terrain. Was he planning on braving the mountains as well?
