Tiffany was trotting around the forest looking for wild carrots and mushrooms. She'd put them in a small carrot shaped and colored basket. She planned to carry this back to her burrow where she was planning to make a marvelous carrot chowder.
She had just been passing by a part of the forest where it opens up for a few feet in the middle of a circle of a carrots. She paused at the foot of a huge sprawling maple tree where she found a patch of mushrooms. She bent down to sniff it out first. She wasn't sure if these mushrooms were safe to consume or not.
She paused and twitched. Her tail flicked, and then she shook her hiney making all the bells on her saddle tingle. Then, she giggled admiring herself thinking she was being pretty damned cute today.

Normally you can find Vulpes in the desert running in the sand and hunting for food but lately his outlooks have changed. He slowly starting to grow hate for the hot, dry desert he roamed and wished for something new, like a forrest. "Today is the day..... i am going to leave and find a new home." he told himself as left his once home.
After Vulpes's long journal from the desert he finally made it to a forest. He looked around and found a small creek where he took a dip in. The water felt so good against his fur and skin as he cleaned his coat from the desert's sand. "Man, i am starving.... and oh so tired...." he spoke has he walked from the creek.
As Vulpes was looking around trying to find a place where he can make a home, he came across a small burrow. He slow approached the hole and looked around to see if he could see anyone hear by. "Hello? .... is in one in there?" He asked as he poked his head inside the den. He waited awhile but no one responded to his call. "I guess it is vacant." Vulpes said as he walked in.
The den it's self smelt so wonderful and alluring which made him wonder why someone would abandon it. As he looked around inside to notice everything was well clean and well kept. "the person who lived here must too great care of it" he thought as he yawned. He had been threw alot today and he thought it would be a great time for a nap. " i will find something to eat when i wake up" he said slowly as he drifted off to sleep.

Finally, after a few hours of nitpicking through many bushes and other peoples' gardens, Tiffany had filled her basket with prime choice mushrooms and carrots. They were all in tip top shape. Well, yeah of course! Tiffany was always insistent on using only the best ingredients for the stews she liked to make. Making good grub in the forest could be challenging at times depending on the weather. With the winter on and off over the past month or so, she knew pretty soon it would get really hard to get out and forage. The stuff she was preparing now. She hoped deep down it would last her until the early spring.
Tiffany paused on the way back to her burrow to admire herself in the water again. While she paused there, she stopped to smell her body's crevices to make sure none of them smelled rancid or the slightest bit unlady like. She took a few sniffs, and then she bent down taking a paw to the cold river water that was feeling like a tinge of frost was growing in it. She dabbed it around anywhere that felt like it could use an extra boost. ~there~ she thought to herself. ~now i'm in full form and the most respectable rabbit one could lay eyes on... now if only I could find the prince of my dreams, but who am I kidding. I haven't seemed to be able to run into any princes or god-lings that I think would suit me at all~
With that, she trotted on along. Once she was hopping about with her basket handle in her mouth; she made excellent time back to the burrow. She squeezed down into it. She busied herself with organizing her veggies in an almost ocd manner. She then worked on making a fire and using a clay pot she had found. She put that on the fire to prepare the smouldering of her nice little stew. And, it was only after she had sat down and relaxed by breaking up some mushrooms and sprinkling them into the pot's mix that she realized something strange. Why! What was that ... smell? She sniffed at the air. That smell didn't smell like her or another rabbit. She half turned around to get such a fright! A fox... in her burrow? Was he waiting there to eat her?

Vulpes was in such i nice dream, which consisted of him swimming in a pond where beautiful flower petals rained on him. Suddenly a smell caught his attention and made him slowly wake up. As he awoke he gave a big yawn that slowed off his sharp clean teeth. Fallowing the yawn he started to stretch of his aching limbs. "All that running really took a toll on my body." he said sleepily. While in his stretches he notice the smell that woke him up. The smell it's self was familiar, it was prescient when he first examined the ben..... but it was somehow stronger now when before.
Final he turned around to see .... a Rabbit? Was this her den? His presents would surely scare her to death he thought. Lucky she hasn't notice him just yet which gave him the perfect chance to leave, hopping she would never find out this misunderstanding. As Vulpes started to slowly move to leave he took a better look at the clueless rabbit, She was quit beautiful. He started to slowly examine her as she put her belongings away. It was very clear to him that she far more rare then any other females he has seen before. She was 100% perfect! Every piece of fur was organized perfectly and she was extremely clean. He couldn't find one speck of dirt or dust on her. "Truly rare" he thoult to himself.
Suddenly as he was starring at her she started to sniff the air. " Oh NO! Did she notice his presents?" He thought as he looked around trying to find somewhere to hide. But it was to late.... she spotted him. The look on her frightened face ached his heart. " I.....I...I'm Ssssss....sorry!" Vulpes blurted out. " I am from the dessert and i just moved to the forest for a new life. I was looking for a new home when i can across this den. I DIDN'T know anyone lived here... I Swear! I even called out but no one answered. I had no idea this was your home my lady! I am terribly sorry. " He tried to explain in a hurried rant.

Well, to her that sounded like a nice enough answer, but she had grown up on stories of Little Red Ridinghood, and that famed wolf who tried to eat the little naive girl. Tiffany knew that she could be naive at times, and she didn't want to be that right now, especially to be sorry afterwards. She just sat in one position without moving, but her eyes followed him. His words made her ears twitch as part of her felt inclined to believe him. Still, she knew that she should always be cautious. Bunnies who didn't know how to take care often ended up as dinner for the more ferocious beasts of the wild. As the moments passed, she started to calm down and realize. If this guy was gonna eat her, wouldnt' he have started by now?
She then started to slowly sit down carefully without making any sudden movements. Then, she had a glint of an idea flash through her brain. "Um.. Heh. Yeah, this is my home. I ... g-g-guesss it'd be ok if you stayed for a few."
Then, she moved her forepaw around to her side and behind her looking for a sharp object, raising the first she could find. "But, don't you think that if you make one hasty move to chew on me or any bit of my fur... that this knife won't find its way into your belly. Cuz, I'll hurt you before I go down."
Saying this, she wasn't really sure if she could pull it off. Still, at least he'd have a warning. His response to her would be the telling factor, most likely.

Vulpes watched her closely looking at all her reactions, trying to read them. She really did look frighten to see him. Looking into her eyes he could see a since of fear in them along with confusion. It broke Vulpes heart knowing he scared someone so badly. He wasn't even that sure why but he figured a random male in anyones home would frighten them. He was deep in thought about those things as he watched her trying to compose herself.
Slowly he was about to inch close to the exist figuring it would just be best if he left. Right as he took a small steep in the direction she spoke. He just stood there blinking at first not sure what to think. Was his ears playing tricks on him or did she really say he could stay for a bit. Suddenly he felt as if he was busting with energy and happiness. It was a huge relief knowing he didn't scare her to bad... or so he thought.
Vulpes was about to rush over to her with a hug and lick on the check when she pulled out a knife. This of corse made him freeze in his tracks not fully sure on what was going on anymore. "Eat you? Why in the world would i do that?" he asked not fully aware on the situation. He sat there thinking abit when it finally came to him. He was a wolf and she was a rabbit it was only natural she would think that. His eyes widen with this realization and started to blur out the first things on his mind. "OH MY NO ..... i mean i would never! I don't even like Rabbits. I mean i like them because they are cute and fluffy but i would never hurt one. I only eat rodents i swear! I could never in my wildest dream ever want to harm you or your perfectly placed fur. Your so beautiful my lady! Why would i ever want to destroy that? Out of anything i would want to Protect you not harm" He tried to explain again in a hurry as he felt himself getting dizzy.

And, then it was Tiffany's turn to stand there stupified and feeling amiss. Her hand involuntarily dropped the knife she had been holding as she chewed on that bit of him wanting to protect her. Was he for real? She wasn't really sure how to proceed.
True, she had to agree with him. She was beautiful. Of course, she was! She only spent every waking minute obsessing over her own perfection. At least he was astute enough to take notice of that very quickly. Still, she wasn't entirely convinced some guy would just hap-hazardly just wander in her house to protect her and tell her how beautiful she was. Even if that had been what actually happened. She wasn't sure things worked that way.
She then took in a deep breath. She counted backwards from ten as she exhaled, and then she smoothed down her fur in a quick manner to appease herself. She was collecting herself in her normal sultry, egotistical manner. She went to turn around to move back towards what she was doing before she was interrupted.
She picked up the knife she dropped, and when she stood up from getting it. She slunk one of her hips to the side. An eye slid back to peek at him from being busy. "So, What was that last bit you were saying? Not the eating rodents... The part after that?"
