I guess I should be participating more to be saying anything. I've never really had a judged fight with anyone, but I do like this sort of rating system thats been created. While its still somebodies opinion, it does force them to think alittle more about the judgement, rather than just sucking their friends asses because they're 'tight'.
Very cool, me likes. A step in the right direction. I may have to fight one time here. xd

yeah, it is a fair system because it makes the ref focus on everything in general not just one detail like before

These new rules go against everything my character is. (not a god mod) but take a look:
The people who alter thier character as needed for the situation (Zoicite).
That's my main thing. I can transform into another one of my characters when needed. I also see other things that I could change, but that is unacceptable, unless my character cosplay ability is exempt fromt his rule for being an ability of mine, or are you trying to knock me out of the arean gonk

Hmm interesting. A few of them go against my charecter but not really really. As everyone here knows though my charecter seems ultimate he is not. My charecter is based on Melee damage, but thanks to these new rolls will have to limit myself. Also it has been recent that my charecter rarly gets hit and I have justification for this as well.
Though most ignore it my charecters life is fighting, and trust me he has done it for some time. I ask wehn Oni you Judge that you take into account my past history and how my charecter, which I know you have read the profile, and his indepth ways. I like this new system, I can work around it, but I will state this now. In no way while roleplaying a fight while I diminsh my charecters reatly of strength and power. Magic wise he has now very few abilities many know this. Melee wise his strength and endurence are near unlimited, something else many know. I will work too the best I can with out removing the factors that make my charecter who he is thank you.

It means, for a normal fighter to somehow just start shooting lightning at a water fighter, just because the situation calls for it. Basically, you can't use moves you don't have, just because it'd make the situation easier. Just make sure whatever abilities your character has are listed in your Fighting Profile, and you'll be fine. 3nodding

I understand the no DBZ god-mod stuff. But jumping off a wall, that is actually realisitic, as long as you don't have 80lb of armor on, or are extremly strong.

I was in a fight, someone stabbed towards me. I responded by parrrying the stab and deflecting it to the side with the pommel of my sword. Their response to that was to say they rolled thier sword around the hand guard and still stabbed my stomach or something like that.
that's the kind of s**t we're trying to get rid of, people who will do anything, including basic laws of DUH to get out of taking a hit

Well...actually that is quite possible. More likely than not it wouldn't happen, but say p1: (pomel blocker) is using a katana. Most katana tsubas are round, and easy to 'roll' around, using a rapier or small light sword and that would be an almost automatic reaction. As long as the person contains control over the blade in that situation, a simple turn and thrust could be exactly what you are speaking of. But...for the sake of not-arguement, I agree with you.

that's the kind of s**t we're trying to get rid of, people who will do anything, including basic laws of DUH to get out of taking a hitthe standard pole-pole attack is almost extactly that but it isnt possible with a sword if the pommel connects firmly
