There is not much to the route between these two countries. It is a simple cross of the ocean which can be achieved many ways, although the most common, and by far most easy, is to simply charter a boat and take a calm ride. Though storms do hit the area between the two countries from time to time, most likely lingering storms coming in from the neighboring Frost Country, the trip is usually calm and peaceful.

Just as he finished untying the mooring ropes that kept the ship attached to the docks, Novvus caught a glimpse of two boys running towards the boat. The first appeared to be blind, for he had wrapped a cloth around his eyes. The dark-skinned boy dismissed the theory because the newcomer aimed a mighty jump at the slowly accelerating ship. Novvus expected him to hit the deck and break something, but to his amazement the boy hovered over the deck for a few moments before landing softly. The newcomer apologized for being late, then sat down to catch his breath.

The other newcomer removed the vest he was wearing and carried it over his shoulder as he ran. Weaving seals that Novvus couldn't see due to the distance, the boy launched the vest at the ship, which landed with a loud thud on the deck. At the same time, he threw a punch that split the water to form a five foot wide corridor extending from the dock to the ship. The boy ran with increased speed, staying ahead of the collapsing walls of water. He then jumped, grabbed on to the edge and pulled himself up. The second boy went to pick up his weighted vest.
"Welcome aboard," said Novvus nodding to each boy in acknowledgment, "You guys are just on time. Well as you can see, we're prepping the ship for the voyage to Lightning Country. The hold is downstairs. There are plenty of empty rooms to choose from, but i would wait to see which are being occupied by the sailors." Novvus cracked his knucles, then flexed his fingers. "By the way, there is a shady shinobi on board who refuses to give his name. I'd be careful around him if i were you." With that, he went back to the forward section of the boat to see if there was anything left to do.

Hibiki growled slightly as the anchor hit the deck. It made the boat rumble a bit and the duo had to hold onto each other to not slip up. He then countered the boy's remark before transforming into a bird and flying away. "Not such a bad guy when hes not trying to rip your own throat out." He muttered to the Vulpes. Kuro shrugged and began helping some of the other crew while Hibiki spaced out a bit. Kaji reminded him of someone, but he couldn't quite think of who it was. They were both tall, broad, muscular, and were also rude, and bloodthirsty. Who the hell is that? I know those are generic Inuzuka traits. He looked down at himself, ...Which I obviously got the short end of the stick when it came to that, but who does Kaji remind me of?!

It hit him after a brief moment. "Katsu." He whispered to himself. That's right! Katsu was just as big and scary as he was! Albeit he was a little less...mean. His mind began to drift back to his childhood, when he actually had good memories. The four of them and their ninken would congregate in a nearby grove of trees. Katsu, the eldest brother, and Rai and Kai, the two middle brothers, would usually spar or practice various techniques. Hibiki usually wasn't allowed to participate since he was 'too young to know the bloodsport' his brothers said. He didn't mind really, he usually sat on the side lines, reading scrolls while talking to Kuro. Both Rai and Kai would usually mock Katsu into sparring with one, or both of them. Back then, they were all Chuunin, while the eldest brother was pretty close to taking his Jonin exam. So even if it was two on one, or rather, two on five, Katsu and Satoshi could handle themselves pretty well.

In fact, one prominent memory stuck out at him at this very moment. It was in the usual grove of trees, and on that day it was particularly misty in an eerie fashion. Satoshi, Katsu's Ninken, was speaking today about agility with taijutsu attacks and various sneak attacks one could pull off. He was a rather large Gray Wolf and, despite the usually mangy look wolves have, he looked elegant and refined, and spoke in such a way. 'Hibiki, Kai, Rai' He said as he stood before the three, 'One should always be anticipating an attack from their opponent, don't think, even for one moment, that they will just forfeit and flee'. During these lectures, Hibiki and Kuro zoned out a lot, and barely payed attention to the old canine. Rai and Kai never listened, and neither did the three other ninken. See, Kai was 'blessed' according to Satoshi for having two Ninken, Ryo, and Ria. They were jackals, male and female, who were destined to be together, they even had a pup. Unfortunately, it had died not long after Ria had given birth. That sparked a family argument that resulted in all of the Inuzuka being given deep wounds. However, that's a story for another time.

Satoshi rambled on and on about various topics which resulted in a lot of boredom, aside from Katsu who found it 'amazingly tactical'. Today was different though, The Elegant Wolf stopped in the middle of a sentence, and everyone seemed to tense up. The Ninken in the area froze, as their noses wiggled to and fro and their ears flutter. "Hibiki," Katsu murmured, fear in his voice. "I want you to stay put. Kai, Rai, please protect him." And with that, the Inuzuka boys began to worry even more that their eldest brother would speak in such a way. Hibiki was frightened, and slowly backed up against a tree, Kuro following suit. Katsu and Satoshi scrambled out of the area, obviously following something that had piqued their awareness. Rai and Kai stood in front of Hibiki, forming a triangle between their bodies. Ria, Ryo, and Mamoru, Rai's Ninken, stood at the side of their respective shinobi. Kuro whimpered, causing the silence to echo the whimper back at him. The smallest Inuzuka boy was about to speak before a hand had clamped over his mouth and began pulling him into the tree trunk. Biting the hand that held down his mouth out of instinct, he began to shout, "Katsu!". Struggling the best he could, he tried to release himself from the grasp of the stranger's cold hands but...

"Vat is zhe matterrr? Are yoo alright?" The rolled R's and guttural L's of Kuro's harsh accent awoke the young genin out of his trance. Shaking his head, he looked towards the fox, "I was just thinking about that day, where we got kidnapped. Where Katsu, Rai, and Kai had saved me when Mom and Dad didn't, and then were punished for it?" He ended the sentence with a slight question, seeing if Kuro remembered it just as well as he did. With a nod from his replica, he continued "Well, I was thinking..." Kuro shook his head and finished Hibiki's sentence for him, "Zat Kaji rrreminds yoo of Katsu? Zhey are zimilar. Aycept, He vasn't as mooch of zhe deeck as Kaji, ya?" Kuro cursed slightly, in his weird accent, making the flutist giggle loudly, "Ya!" He mocked in response.

It wasn't until now that the pair of Inuzukas acknowledged the two newest members of their team. However, they were already greeted by Novvus, who instantly gave them a warning about the Aburame. With a sour glare at the fleeing Genin who wound up near the front, he turned towards the two newcomers, "You better not get in the way of the crew! If you can't do anything up here, you might as well go cook the crew something to eat!" He then noticed how they were both a few inches taller than he was. With a slight droop of the shoulders, Hibiki turned towards Kuro, "Why must I be the shortest Genin here?"

Aizen wasn’t much for boats but it was some what faster than him swimming the entire way to the land of fire. he sighed softly before he looked back at those around him, Kirigakure had so many bad things to it that he wasn’t even sure he could help it, let alone fix all of it’s scars and battle wounds. I’m much older than most of the genin here... If my suspicions are true then... the twins had no choice but to flee for their own purposes... I’m not sure how the others will respond to this. I don’t want to force someone into doing something they do not wish to uphold due to their country enslaving them for unknown purposes. Aizen couldn’t help but think of his past and where his parents were. ”It’s been eight years since that time... Lets just hope I don‘t end up in that predicament” He spoke to himself just before visualizing the incident.

”Hurry! Down this alley! Foot steps could be heard from behind, An older male with a woman and a child. They had been on the run for several long years. ”Mom! I’m scared, please don’t let them take you away!” a child cried out as the mother shushed him, the father looked to the two and spoke in a hesitant manner. ”Go I’ll keep them here!, go please just go! don’t worry about me!” The woman pleaded with her Spouse to think rationally but he pushed her away and ran towards the trackers. ”nooo! don’t do it please!” The woman cried out as she quickly ran deeper into the ally ways. The mans cries could be heard from miles if not more, the trackers obtained him and slaughtered him within moments. Asking about the secret in which he kept. Where is the child! Tell us or die! The man smirked and simply spit at the head guard. You pathetic pest! die! And with a quick slash of a sword the man was beheaded. the woman ran until she choked on fell to the ground, she couldn’t run any longer and the boy was getting tired and cold. She found a trashcan with a old blanket in it, she took the blanket and wrapped it around the young boys body to keep him warm. She at first was going to place him into the trashcan but thought it was too obvious to do so, so she opened up a sewer drainer and placed him within it and spoke one final time. ”No matter what you do, don’t say a word or sound.... I’ll protect you, I promise! Just please stay in the cover and hide for mommy!” She fell to her knee’s as he gripped the edge of the trash can and picked herself back up. For my child I shall die....May you have the courage to survive into your adult hood my young son. Several Guards appeared before the woman and began to grin. “Where is the boy.... tell us and you won’t be harmed too greatly...” The woman looked at the men in armor and chuckled. ”First you chase me and my husband half way across the lands and then you kill him! and now you want to use my child as some sort of Experiment, Never! You shall all die along side me tonight!” Her hands came together as her fingers moved quick suddenly all of the guards were traced with chakra strands in which looked like string to the boys eyes not fully understanding the concept of a jutsu. “What.. what the hell is this! don’t tell me you have this ability too!” The woman grinned just before spitting blood out of her mouth. ”Damn you and all of your people you’ll never be able to touch my son ever again! and with you gone they won’t have any leads to track him down and try to kill him!” With a final inhaling breath the woman took out a sharp hand object and crucified herself in the chest. Falling to her knees as her eyes became soulless but her mouth grinned with justice. Die you bastards.... die... All the armored men fell due to the single attack upon the woman’s heart, the boy tried as his might but couldn’t free himself of the sewer cage in which was left as it was by his mother, there would only be one way out and it would be though the tunnels and into the light.

Aizen made another tisking sound from his mouth before he shook his mind of the images. I will hold up to my duties as a Justice shinobi mother... He took a deep inhaled breath before sighing moments later looking back at those that surrounded him. he would go into the lower desks and sleep for a while. He walked passed several people before entering the lower decks and finding a suitable place to sleep, which was a pile of fresh hay, It was warm and thus he wouldn’t be in pain on the solid cold boards. they’d have to travel through the land of fire in order to reach that of the land of lightning, and from there the small village of frost.. He wasn’t sure what would happen but he knew it needed to happen soon. But for now he dosed off into a timeless sleep.

As Takera landed onto the boat he turned to Zeru before bending down to grab his vest. "Damn fairy. " When Takera got his hands on his vest and began putting it back on, he heard someone on the ship welcoming them. He got the vest over his head and slipped his arms in as he stepped towards the person speaking to them. "Hey. I'm Takera." He extended his arm/hand towards Novvus attempting to shake hands.

Takera walked back over to Zeru and sat down. He had taken a quick glance around at everyone still on deck and then let his head tilt down and slowly he drifted off for a bit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Flashback Dream]

Takera was sitting at a small table low to the ground in a big open room of the house his family used to live in. Sitting next to him was Zeru and across from them were their mother and father. The family had all been sitting around the table for breakfast. "Dad. Are you going to teach us more about our elemental affinities today?" Takera asked. His father finished what he had been eating and replied calmly. "Today we're going to work on releasing your bloodline limits. That is, after you've finished eating.

After the family finished eating, their mother began cleaning the dishes and the father took the boys out into the fields behind the farmhouse to train them. The first lesson to awakening their bloodline limit was to focus chakra to their eyes and not just their face. While the task sounded easy, it wasn't entirely so. The boys spent a few days tirelessly trying to learn proper control of chakra flowing into their eyes. On the final day of their training to control the chakra flow to their eyes, their father decided it'd be best to have them face off against each other. In the midst of their hand to hand sparring, suddenly Takera's eyes changed and he started responding much different to Zeru's moves. It would seem as if thanks to awakening this new ability, Takera would dominate this fight, but shortly after Zeru's eyes changed and the sparring evened out again.

-Skipping ahead a couple months-

Takera and Zeru were out in the field behind the farmhouse going over what they had learned over the past so many months when Zeru proposed an idea. "Let's see what each other has learned in our personal training time." Takera gave it a bit of thought and nodded in agreement. Zeru then weaved seals and began slowly floating up into the air. Takera was not amused. Though he had tried, he couldn't fly in any form or manner. It had seemed ridiculous to him that an earth affinity could fly where as a wind affinity could not. Takera stepped back a few steps after Zeru had descended back to the ground and weaved his own handseals, throwing both fists down and causing a burst of air to hit the ground. It enabled him to somewhat hop to a degree, but otherwise did very little. In irritation, Takera quickly left, making his way over to the village nearby.

He quietly walked through the village thinking over and over about the fact that over the course of so many months, his brother came up with a fully functional technique, where as Takera had come up short-handed. Takera eventually reached the outskirts of town where some buildings were abandoned and in irritation, he built up his chakra and started weaving signs trying to learn some form of flying. In the end he couldn't, and in his anger he punched the side of the building, which the entire wall had split in two and collapsed from the release in high pressure air from his fist.

As Takera watched the wall split and collapse, he thought about the possibilities that kind of air pressure could afford him in ranged and close combat fights. Just then Takera's father had been walking by and noticed what Takera had done. After bringing him back to the house, he had scolded Takera very thoroughly about what he had done. Though he had been given a lecture, he was still relatively happy because he could manipulate the wind in ways that would give him an edge over Zeru.

Takera met up with Zeru behind the barn in the field again and once again attempted to display his ability, but this time it was focused and being used the way it's suppose to. Takera weaved the seals necessary and then shot a fist forward past Zeru causing a funnel of wind to erupt from his fist stretching down the field, parting the grass to a degree in the form of a path.

A few days later, Takera had once again made his way into the market/town walking and thinking to himself. After a while he picked something out and brought it home. On his way home he saw Zeru confronting another boy around his own age. Takera ducked behind a building and made his way up a path between two buildings to get as close as possible and listen in.

Zeru had been confessing his feelings to this other boy, as he made it clear he was gay. Takera didn't take this well. Infact, he went so far as to walk up to the boy that Zeru had been talking to and trying to connect with and pushed him over into the ground, threatening to do unimaginable things to him if he ever saw him with Zeru ever again. The boy ran away in fear and confusion. Zeru was enraged. "How could you do that? I'm never speaking to you again!" Zeru stormed off without another word.

[Flashback Dream]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Takera was suddenly awoken from his dream by the voice of another. This person seemed almost bossy. He lifted his head to see the person behind the voice shrug his shoulders and turn around. "Fine. But if you complain about my cooking, I'll force feed you rat poison."

Zeru sighed and caught his breath his legs felt like rubber from pushing them so hard to simply get to the boat itself, he sighed and caught his breath he heard his brother climb onto the boat and insult him which caused the dark skin on Zeru's cheeks to turn a slight red in anger and embarrassment. He didn't want the first thing these new people knew about him to be about his sexuality. Zeru smiled and didn't look directly at Novvus, still acting as though he was blind. "Thank you for the heads up, I'm Zeru by the way." He said as he sat for a moment and then he saw his brother lay down and doze off, which caused Zeru to roll his eyes behind the wraps, and he sat to catch his breath. He hoped that no one would ask about the fairy comment at least until they got to know him.

Zeru slowly climbed to his feet and dusted himself off, and fixed his hair, slowly he looked around without turning his head, he simply looked through the wraps at the other shinobi on board. Zeru then noticed the sailor's moving around. Zeru slowly walked to the edge of the ship and felt the spray from the ocean hit his face it made him smile he had always like the ocean his father had taken him fishing before he had loved that experience. It was one of the true bonding experience's, that just he and his father had. Zeru's dad had grown a little more distant when he had been outed about his sexuality by his brother he would never forget that day.

Zeru watched the boy closely while he was in the market alone Zeru had known him for almost a year and a half. The boy was the same age as Zeru and a bit taller than him. He had short blonde hair, and bright blue eyes, the boy had always been kind and Zeru had a huge crush on him. Zeru had finally worked up the nerve to tell him, his plan had been thought out well and now it was time to execute it. Zeru stepped out quickly and then made sure to bump into him and they smirked at each other and began to speak, Zeru took the boy a bit of the ways out of town and started to talk to him about his feelings the boy was reacting rather well, and Zeru asked if they could kiss, the boy smiled but Zeru never got an answer, as his brother showed up and knocked the boy down and threatened him, Zeru yelled at his brother and ran off into town.

Later that afternoon Zeru made his way home to find his family waiting for him in the their main sitting room, Zeru's mother asked him about what had happened and Zeru confirmed what his brother had told them, Zeru slowly watched the look in his fathers face become full of disappointment, Zeru's father didn't even stay for the end of the story and left the room. From that day forward Zeru was kind of the outcast child in his father's eyes, although that didn't last long.

Zeru heard the slightly shorter Shinobi approach them and Zeru turned slightly as he heard his words Zeru smirked and nodded at the comment. After Takera went down stairs to cook, Zeru smirked. "Be careful with his food, he burns ramen" Zeru said smirking as he made a few hand seals and then floated up into the air and began to help the crew member's up in the rigging, at getting the sail set straight, and connecting the lines, he also helped the crewmen in the crow's nest and floated around relaying information. Zeru was so happy to be back on a ship, he always knew if he hadn't become a shinobi he would have become a sailor.

After a little while Zeru found there was little the sailor's needed Help with so he decided to simply stay out of their way, he floated up to one of branches of the mast and sat with his legs dangling, it was the one place on the ship he had never been when his father had taken him before they wouldn't let him climb anything. For fear he would fall into the ocean but now Zeru could fly, as he sat there dangling his legs and look out on the infinitely expanding sea he sighed and let his right hand touch the shoulder plate that sat on his left shoulder, he let his finger's trace the leaf symbol it was the one item of his father's that he owned, and he owned it because his father had given it to him as a last act, it was at that last moment his father truly accept who he was, but the thought of it brought sadness to Zeru they had wasted what little time they had left being apart and distant he wished they had spent a little time together, he wondered if his father would be proud to see him now, he hoped in his heart that he would.

Zeru relaxed and wrapped his hand around one of the lines to keep himself safe in case he lost balance,as he relaxed and enjoyed the trip, although he was not looking forward to his brother's food.

Kyu felt proud of himself as the team began to come together. Things were still rough: The Aburame still wasn't cooperating, and two new ninja were joining the team. Who knew what kind of issues they had in tow. However, things were looking bright on the open seas. As Novvus and Hibiki began to work on getting the ship off of the port, Kyuzaku saw that Kaji was even lending a helping hand, to Hibiki at that. Kyu went to the starboard side of the ship, and looked at the open seas, a broad smile beneath his facemask.

His hands gripped the wooden side, and he reflected upon what he would have to do from here until they reached Lightning Country waters. He still needed to create a bond between Kaji and the rest of the group. While he seemed to be in a better mood, Kyu didn't doubt for a second that he still wanted to exact revenge upon Hibiki. Kyuzaku decided that after they are at sea for about an hour, he would do some underwater recon, and return with some red meat. Upon his return, they'd divvy the meat among the crew, with a sizable amount going to each carnivore, seeing as neither should have to stomach vegetables or fish. Under those well-fed conditions, they'd probably be a greater asset come the battle with the twins.

From there, he would go into strategist mode. Hopefully, Rinku would have some inside info on the shinobi crew by then, and he could devise something good that would play off of everyone's strengths. Kyu had a plan in mind, however, the Aburame was a problem. Where would he fit in the plan? He isn't trustworthy, nor is he trusting of the crew. After getting Kaji to truly be a part of group, I'll have to work with him... Maybe there's something I can pull out of him to make him more cooperative, and less treasonous. However, if he gets worse, then I may have to report him for his crimes. While some of the others may not know it, but posing as a military leader like an ANBU is a serious crime if brought before the Mizukage. I'd rather not rock the boat, but... His thoughts trailed off, and he sighed, looking down at the sloshing water below.

Hibiki straightened back up as he heard a comeback from one of the twins on board. If he didn't like the food, he'd be force fed rat poison. Well, if it would taste better, I would do it willingly/ He thought, trying to keep any insults to himself for the sake of Kiri. The shinobi wondered off down to the hold or kitchen, preferably the latter as his stomach began to rumble slightly. "Be careful with his food, he burns ramen." The other shinobi stated, before using some sort of jutsu to propel himself off the ground. "If he burns my food, he'll have to owe me dinner!" He shouted as the newcomer gained altitude. Looking at Kuro, the flutist smirked a little, "I better make sure he isn't putting poison in my food. While I'm down there I'll check our supplies on board and gather some recon. You should do the same." Hibiki whispered to the Vulpine as he motioned towards the floating ninja. Kuro nodded and helped a few sailors get the sails started.

Hibiki wondered off down towards the hold, and using his chakra-enhanced senses, began sniffing around the area. "After that little ANBU incident, I must now make sure there are no more tricks, or stowaways in the hold." Meanwhile, up on the main deck, Kuro studied the levitating Shinobi from afar. He began making conclusions on how someone could actually fly around like that, although none popped up unless he had a wind affinity of sorts. The ship's crew took over anything else, all the other small deeds that the 'shinobi didn't need to worry about', leaving the Vulpes confused at what to do next. He could go talk to Kyu about what they should be expecting, but he didn't want to bother him. The Fish Boy probably didn't have the patience to deal with his accent, and he wasn't intelligent enough to understand him in his original form where he can't even speak yet. Thing would just get awkward if he started talking to Rinku, they didn't have much to talk about. The Aburame was off-limits, Kuro didn't want to spark more drama upon this ship. Kaji was happily eating, and he can stay happy as long as Kuro's insides can stay inside of him. Novvus was busy helping the crew as well. With a heavy sigh, he looked towards their newest member. The fox didn't like getting to know people, because he really didn't understand what its like to be human, nor is his communication good. However, Hibiki wanted him to get some information on him, and Kuro would never disobey the Inuzuka.

The boy had settled down on a branch on the main mast and seemed to just stare out into the ocean. Thinking it would be a good time to talk, Kuro activated the All-Fours Jutsu and focused the chakra into his limbs, before being thrown high into the air towards the branch. Miscalculating a wee bit, the fox began to swipe frantically at the branch that was at least a foot above him, until his claws had caught onto the wood. Biting back a small bit of pain, he hoisted himself up and straddled the branch. Placing his hands in front of him, as if he was riding a horse, his smile widened, "Allo. My nayme Kuro, Vhat yoors?" He spoke in his heavily accented speech. He was about to offer his hand, as he has seen many humans do that to greet each other, but he almost lost balance and decided that holding on to the branch was more important.

Aizen woke from his sleep, his blue eyes shining due to the sun beaming through the cracks of the deck. Seems we’re almost there to the land of lightning... Aizen’s body leaned forward only to cause him to sit in a upward position. His neck went from either side of his shoulders as both sides of his neck crackled. That Kyu kid is going to be a pest... I wonder if he’s thought of some plan in which to rid himself of me...no matter the case I’ll do as I please... no one barks orders at me. Aizen finally stood up as he walked a couple feet only to lift his right arm as his hand reached for the deck door. Finally pushing the door open he was brought to a sight of sunshine and open skies, something he hadn’t seen in a very long time. ”Hmm... Sunshine... just what I need to brighten my day up... Not...Ugh how much longer until we reach land... I was a fool to take up such a massive boat, all the reason to have swam here from Kiri...” Aizen’s complaints were none but short of rather annoying to the others he was sure of it. either way it was his way of getting passed the bullsh!t in which was going around on the deck.

He looked across the boat only to see a couple deckhands and Kyu taking the front of the boat like he was some kind of captain. Fish boy, how predictable... I’m beginning to see a pattern... one of Leadership... Hmmm....I wonder....What made him decide to go all fish like... My appearance isn’t even that fully evolved... not that I’d like to look so... fishy...But it’s interesting indeed. With a moments though he chuckled to himself before going to the back of the boat and looked at the others in front of him. Working together as if they were meant to do something great or something. ”How pathetic... Some things may never change...”

Takera had been rummaging through the storage up until now. He managed to find an assortment of goods. In a freezer were a few assortments of meat along with chilled milk and eggs. In the pantries he managed to find an assortment of vegetables and other goods. Takera wrote down a list of ingredients and mix and matched ideas. After a while he decided to go top side and get some personal preferences on the possible meals from those around the ship.

Takera made his way up the stairs to the deck with his list, flipping through the pad of paper and thinking about stuff when he looked up to see Aizen walking away from the top of the stairs. Aburame, huh? Takera thought to himself. He walked out to the center of the dock and proclaimed loudly "Everyone who wants a say in what they're eating on this trip, step forward now and speak your peace once I've told everyone what's being served, or you can eat whatevers put infront of you. If you're not happy with that, then you can starve? That is all."

Takera flipped back to the main page and waited for the rest of the passengers/comrades to gather and plan the coming meal for this voyage.

Zeru smiled as he smelled the salt air of the ocean, then he noticed a bot leap into the air and fling his arm wildly before digging what looked like claws into the wood, Zeru however did not react until the boy climbed on the branch he was on. Zeru turned a little but did not look directly at him, he was good at acting as though he was blind. He found it an easy way to judge people because you would not believe some of the things people tried to do if they thought you where blind.

Zeru smiled as he listened to the boy, and noticed him offer his hand but was relived when he took it back. Hello Kuro, that's an interesting accent, I have never heard one like it." Zeru said trying to spark a conversation and get to know the boy, he look feral. But Zeru had to act like he couldn't see the boy's features. So sooner had he finished his sentence then had his loud mouthed brother yelled to the entire deck about food, it startled Zeru but he didn't turn his head and look or anything once again trying to maintain his blind image. "So Kuro, tell me about yourself. You must be from an interesting place." He said trying to figure out the boy without, being to obvious.

Zeru had noticed him before he seemed to be friends with the Genin who had told them to help the crew member's although he still found the accent odd, he wanted to know where the boy was from. Zeru also noticed a much older ninja come out from below deck he seemed to be the one Novvus had warned him about.

Rinku began to help out around the ship. Just as two more shinobi hopped on board. They appeared to be more friendly and more reliable than the rest so he gave them a quick nod as he helped out. Once things got a little quieter and his help was no longer needed Rinku began to check things out a little more. He wanted to talk to some of the crew, but for one it wouldn’t be that simple, most of the crew were either asleep or off in the water or air. The only people he could really find was Hibiki, Kyu, and that other angry strange shinobi from earlier who Rinku didn’t trust enough to get close too. He figured he could try some stuff out a bit later so he went to a subtle area of the ship and worked on his technique. He built up a powerful bit of chakra in his arms and the bones began to overgrow the skin. The bones hardened and became powerful spike gauntlets. Rinku smiled, he hadn’t been able to complete the technique fully, there were still a few side effects to it. One, the bones could only be sustained for a short time and also he needed to wait for the bones inside his arms to re-grow. He was still working on the technique and so with more practice he figured he would perfect it in no time. He got into a new stance, different from his normal one and begin to practice. There’s no way in a million years I could use this against a jinchuriki, but the more I mess with my bloodline limit, the stronger I seem to become. He tried to focus on the future and his form at the same time. He practiced a bunch of moves while thinking all the same. If only I had some kind of long range attack… maybe I can make a boomerang out of my bones or something. He stopped momentarily, but started back up again. Uh… well… one thing at a time I guess Rinku got in some pretty good practice as his technique began to improve. Rinku figured that by now Kyu was thinking about going fishing for some food so he decided he’d go and see how everyone was doing. Rinku walked around the ship, his hands in his pocket. There was a strange tension going on, but Rinku was getting the vibe that no one was concerned with the threat they were going up against. Instead they all seemed to be concerned about this Inuzuka problem in which Rinku totally knew nothing about, but frankly didn’t care. The only Inuzuka he really knew was Kortez and he never spoke about any of these issues. Other than him, there was Hibiki, but Hibiki made it clear several times that he was his own man and his clan didn’t define him. He took a look up. One of the new shinobi from before was hanging up on top of the ship. He smiled and laughed a little. “Haha, that looks like fun.” However Rinku had a slight case of vertigo so he moved on as Hibiki attempted to climb it. As he walked around some more he saw Hibiki again poking around the lower decks. Damn… he’s really fast… I just saw him ten seconds ago… where’s his fox friend anyways… The clueless Shinobi kept walking around. He was going to go speak to Kyu, but figured if he came to him with no information on anyone that he would truly prove how useless he was. Rinku didn’t even really want to get information that badly as he just wanted the other ninja to recognize him, but everyone was either sticking to their own group and no one else or loan men who refuse to talk to anyone else. Rinku sighed and put his back against one of the walls. Kyu’s not gonna be happy when he finds out that I haven’t talked to anyone yet… or rather no one’s really acknowledged me… Rinku wasn’t the type to be annoying to get attention, but he had a habit of giving up when things got tough, a bad habit, but one he found hard to shake nonetheless. He came across one of the ninja from before who had introduced himself as Takera. He figured this was the only guy he could really reach at the moment. Rinku also thought that he didn’t care much for information right now, he just wanted to try to be friendly and find out the personality of the newcomers. He approached him and gave a small wave and a smile. “Hey there, your names Takera right? My names Rinku, its reassuring to see so many strong shinobi on this mission ey?” Small talk to be sure, Rinku only hoped that this time he would be acknowledged.

(I have the dreaded brain block >.<)
Kaji had retreated to the lower decks to enjoy his feast and tend to Kurosai who had become rather sea sick. When the wolf finally fell asleep Kaji smiled and went back up to the main deck. It turns out that he had spent a lot longer down in the hold than he had originally thought, and that they had nearly arrived at their destination. He remained silent watching the crew buzz about the deck in the deck as if in a trance. In reality his thoughts were of his family, and what horrible torture it must be to live in captivity for the wildest members of the ninja world. Kaji let out a long winded sigh and turned his attention back to the issue at hand. He would have to deal with the Orosaki twins before he could free his family.

After Takera and Zeru introduced themselves, Hibiki showed up and told them to do something useful and help prepare dinner. The two wandered off to do their bidding, leaving Novvus alone for the meantime. The dark-skinned boy decided to go up on the top deck. From there he could see the rapidly approaching landmass that was Lightning Country. He turned his blue eyes to the horizon, gazing in awe at the vast blueness of the ocean. The salty sea wind caressed his face and tousled his black spiky hair.

This wind kinda reminds me of the times grandfather and i were training... thought Novvus as he closed his eyes, relishing the nostalgic feeling. The dark-skinned boy leaned on the railing and began thinking of the upcoming task of apprehending the Orasakai twins. There are eight of us, and three of them. Counting Kuro and Kurosai, that makes ten people on our team. That means that they are outnumbered three to one, which enhances our chances of winning. To my knowledge, Sai is a combat type while Sorain is a medic. This Sennyo person worries me. I do not know what his abilities are, which could prove disastrous if i make the wrong judgement call. He scratched his head, trying to figure out the best way to take care of the elf-like shinobi. I cannot plan this whole thing, i need help. The only person that came to mind was Kyu, who seemed to be doing pretty well taking command of the voyage so far. It was a risky move, but it had to be done before it was too late. Novvus looked for Kyu from above and immediately found him hanging out in the forward section of the ship. As he had done earlier, the dark-skinned boy dropped down from above and walked up to the fish-like genin.

Before he he could get there, though, Takera came up from below and announced that if anyone wanted a say in what to eat to speak up. Novvus had forgotten that he had only eaten peanuts earlier, which caused his stomach to growl audibly. He turned towards Takera.
"How about a fish stew. I would prefer a vegetable soup, but considering we have people that only eat meat on board, i think that we should have a meal befitting the occasion. Fish stew would be nice." Having taken care of that, Novvus approached Kyu and stood at his side. "Kyu, i see that you are doing a good job captaining the trip so far. It is because of this that i have come to you with something to discuss. I do not know if anyone has brought this up yet, but we need a battle plan if we are going to be victorious against the Orasakai twins and their accomplice. We may outnumber them, but those twins are geniuses that may overpower us if we slip up in our fighting tactics." Novvus waited patiently as he let the blue-skinned boy absorb the information.
