~ * ~ Rules ~ * ~ Obey all TOS and guild rules. No entries will be accepted if any vulgarity is included. Keep it PG-13, I don't want vulgarity in anyone's art! The art must be your own work. No stealing someone's work online and passing it off as your own. You may enter multiple times, if you so choose. You can only win one prize. Post your entry in this thread and I'll make sure you are entered. I will accept a drawings of the avatar(s) as this is the preferred format in this forum. Either traditional or digital art is acceptable.

Vemily Question, can i draw it without colour? (Btw, lantern festival is on August) (August on the chinese calender) Submissions without color are OK. Also, I Googled Chinese New Year...and they indeed do use lanterns as part of the New Year celebrations, I was not referring to THE Lantern Festival, just giving some examples of ways people welcome the new year. You know, aside from fireworks. Besides, no one needs to stick to "traditional" anything, per se, it is OK to deviate from tradition as long as you can convey it is a new year theme somehow. Heck, my great grandmother jumped off a small table and said "rabbit, rabbit" to leap into the new year. Pretty sure that is not a normal tradition. Please, nobody draw that. *facepalm*
