Atreo walked silently down the streets of the city. It was twilight and the lights were starting to flisker on one by one, just the perfect time for a walk in his opinion. He loved the city at night, the lights, the people, the smells, nothing could go wrong at night in a place like this. He walked around jumping fences and climbing fire escapes just to make sure he still could. It felt good to run around in the gathering cold and test his skills. After a particularly hard wall was conquered he sat on top of it and watched the city darken.

Atreo took a deep breath of cold city air and let himself doze on the wall "Ah my lovely city, your shine rivals the sun in its brilliance. Show me your beauty and I will feel you in every step." he spoke to his beloved city and waited for darkness to fall. His perch was perfect, the city would show him all of her lights..but wait, whats this?! He saw a young kitten walking down a particularly bad alley. From his perch he could see she wasnt likely to run into trouble but he would follow her from the rooftops till she was in the clear. He loved to be a gentleman and this was an irresistible opportunity to help someone without them knowing. He jumped from his wall onto the rooftop and followed the young cat as quietly as he could, unable to muffle all sound on the tin roof he hoped she would not hear it.

Ad Atreo followed the young kitten he had seen her doll fall. Since the kitten made so much noise he was sure he would be able to find her. He kept an eye on the doll and began his decent from the rooftop. Wall to fire escape to dumpster he made the trip with a dancers grace and the skill of a parkoreist. He hopped down and silently walked over to the doll. It was a cute little thing, he picked it up and dusted it off with his free hand. "Poor little doll, the city may be my love but its no place for you alone. Lets find your girl." Atreo tucked the little doll in a large pocket he had in his cargo pants and stood still to listen for the kittens steps. He suddenly cringed as he heard the wailing of a heartbroken kitten. "Well that was easy"

Atreo decided not to run towards the girl, he didnt want to startle her. He walked at a ginger pace, today since he had been on a city tour he was wearing stylish black cargo pants and a white and silver hoodie. He hoped he didnt look strange to her. He made his way to the alley where he thought he could hear her and sure enough he saw the little kitten wailing. "there you are little one, I have something for you. he smiled and pulled down his hood as he began to walk towards her.

Atreo was stunned he stood there unable to move as he watched the kitten threaten him and slice a trash can as if it were made of cheese! He had to admit it was impressive and his jaw pretty much hit the floor. Suddenly as the little girl saw the doll she seemed to want to get at him more, Atreo held out the doll in front of him like a sheild. "Wait wait, dont kill me young miss! I just wanted to return your little friend here. I-I saw you drop her and I thought she would be missing you." Atreo waved the doll a little bit to show it was unharmed and held up his other hand. "I mean you no disrespect, I promise. He addded hoping it would be enough to calm this young lady.

He was still afraid but he figured he still had to be a gentleman and not show it. However this was not the usual situation, he felt like a damsel in distress. and he hadnt even done anything wrong! He shook his head and stood up a little straighter trying to seem calm and nice. "If you let me young miss I will come and give you your doll, she is unharmed, as I hope to remain." he added with a smile. He took a step closer with both hands up so that the doll dangled from one hand and his free hand showed that he had nothing to hide.

Atreo had to stifle a laugh, this young kitten was certainly some kind of strong little woman. he couldnt help the smile that graced his lips as she tried to dress him down for not responding to her demands immediately. He gave her a bow and held one hand folded behind his back and one crossed over his chest. "I apologize milady, I will surely do my best to please you and your doll friend." Atreo came back up from his bow and thought for a second. Cheese?! Well that was new, he decided that it was because this was a kitten. Kittens and pregnant woman always crave the strangest things. He wanted to comment on how a mouse could steal her cheese but his eyes happened to fall upon her automail before the words could leave his lips and so he thought better of it.

"Cheese you say? hmn I think I know a good bistro with a nice chef. I could get you cheese and maybe a saucer of cream. Sound good?" Atreo was infact a frequent guest at this bistro and the owner fancied that Atreo was his cat. It wasnt true since he only belonged to the city but a place that offered food regularly was never something to look down your nose at. He offered his arm for the young maid to take if she wished and smiled "Shall I lead the way to sustenance young miss?"

Atreo laughed as the young kitten ran off in a random direction. He guessed that she didnt know the way and so he stayed where he was waiting for her to come back. Sure enough she came back in a huff and Atreo tried his best to hide his amused smile and failed utterly. "Well young miss I apologize for not moving fast enough, allow me to lead. But first" Atreo bowed quickly and smiled, "You must know miss, I am named Atreo, and tonight I will be your guide, come we will talk over dinner." Atreo smiled and began to lead the way to the bistro.

The young kitten had infact gone the right direction but not far enough, another block and she would have been there which is where Atreo took her now. He meowed at the back door and an elderly man opened it and looked out. The older man exclaimed happily and bent down to pet Atreo as the cat rubbed up against his legs. After much fussing the man noticed the kitten and tsked at her poor condition then disappeared only to reappear with a plate filled with the left over free samples. There were different kinds of cheese and meats and a bowl of milk was set out. The man made promises to return if the cats waited and talked about closing his shop before disappearing for the last time. Atreo sat triumphantly in front of the plate and motioned for the kitten to feast. "Come young miss, feast well, and know that this man is always willing to help a hungry vagabond at the end of the day." Atreo waited like a gentleman for the young miss to take the first bite.
