Blurrily Enqueri opened his eyes. He felt so weary of everything and everyone. It had seemed his senses were out of wack again, like if he focused on one thing to long he'd wake up hours later and have his body cramping after staying in that position without moving. Everything would set him off, the slightest sound would spike and he be on the ground in pain. Rarely did he have a smile on his face anymore, as he in his mind found nothing was worth being happy about.
Gathering himself together, shook himself both physically and mentally before standing up to start his day. Fangs visable as he let out a loud yawn, he made his way out of his home into the sunlight. Wincing more than once as the light was fastly becoming annoying to his eyesight. Snorting he decided his best bet was to stay within the shady areas and head to the lake in hopes for food.

Rishima Black had gotten away from her family to venture a little bit on her own. She knew that it was wrong to do so, but sometimes she just got caught up in her play that she lost focus on safety. Afterall, the young can be clueless about what can hurt them at times. Rishi looked around, it was so lovely out! The sun was sunshining and the birds were singing such pretty songs. Her dad, mom, and sister had still been asleep when she had left. Early mornings and twilight were her favourite times of the day. Everything was either going to sleep for the night or slowly waking up.
She began to sing a tune her father chose to sing to her every night before going to sleep. She was relaxed and yet alert at the same time, something her father had taught her 'to always be aware of enemies'.

Miles from his home he continued onward cursing the birds and the brightness of the sun. The shaded areas seemed to help but not much. Almost halfway to his destination Enqueri heard a sound that sounded like...singing? Looking left and right, he didn't spot anything that could be the source of the sound and he could look quite far. Stilling his body and focusing on the sound, he didn't notice that he was zoning out on his one sense which was hearing.
Everything around him seemed to narrow into a needle point. It was times like these that scared him the most as he felt helpless. The one feeling he hated most in all the world as he'd rather be strong then have others assume him weak. Like his past mate and family deemed him, different and weird.

Rishima went still looking at what was infront of her. She just needed to be quiet and not move a muscle until the last possible moment, even her tail was still. Letting out a cute little howl she pounced on her victim and missed as it flew a way. A little frown graced her face as she watched the butterfly fly away into the blue of sky. " Shoot, com'ack!" She cried playfully but her playmate just kept going far away. Letting out a deep sigh she continued to watch the butterfly until it was speck in the distance. " Well... what do I do now!"
Looking around she realized that she may have gone to far. Rishima's eyes widen in fright at the possibility of never finding her family again. Slowly turning around in a full 180 circle, she took in the silent and stillness of the forest. " Mama? Papa?" Rishima whimpered.

Blinking awake Enqueri was aware that something had interrupted his zone which he was greatful for, that is until he heard the upset tone. It sounded female and scared. From the shape of his body it must not have been a long zone out. Enqueri made his way to the voice, focusing all his senses at the unknown female. Picking up speed, he knew he was getting closer. He almost turned the corner when the sound of little hooves began to run the opposite way of him.
'Huh, I guess I wasn't as silent as I thought I was.' The curiousity got the better of him as he continued to follow the noisey female infront of him. Within minutes he caught up with what appeared to be a hybrid horse like himself. Though this female was more canine and a foal unlike his adult feline self. Not even the least out of breath Enqueri slowed down to a walk and said loudly. " Sorry if I scared you, I didn't mean too."

Rishima almost got herself into a panic and was about to yell again when the sound of hooves thundering, to her little mind, towards her. Letting out a bleet of startled fear, she dashed all her might away from what she thought was danger. Not paying attention her hooves caught on an upturned root and she went tumbling to the ground harshly. Rishima fought to keep herself from blacking out and looked dazily around her.
A deep male voice made her look up and up and up. ' Whoa! This guys HUGE.' What she didn't realize was that her mouth was hanging open as she took in the giant kitty-horse. " Kitty?"
