 Serat crept outside away from the presence of Alphonse for a moment was all she needed. She took a deep breath and looked up to the stars. It was a clear night and has her held tilted up to see the massive amounts of sparkling dots; she suddenly felt very small. There was so much out there to explore and to see she thought to herself. She sat back on her heals and gazed up fixated on counting the stars. Unaware and alone.

 Lucrial waited a bit before he moved away from Alphonse. It seemed he was being watched more. Probably from the dreams he has been having. Tonight he wanted to clear his head. The male walked around, his mind on what his dreams might mean. So deep in thought, he walked into Serat.

Serat fell onto her side...she looked up at the male in surprise. She laughed, "hey watch where you're going will ya...I thought you were Alphonse!" She got up and stood next to him. "So you found a way out as well...I can see," she winked. "It's nice to get out for a little while...I guess it helps clear the mind for a bit...I don't know why but I feel so controlled while around the Alchemist...but out here...looking out into the open...there's more out there." She blushed. She had said to much to this complete stranger, but the sense of freedom clouded her mind and her thoughts...for the first time she felt she was free...and she felt like she wasn't alone. "So what are you doing out here?" She asked the male.

At the feel of a body and the sound of a voice, Lucrial looked down. "Oh my. I am so sorry about that." The mention of Alphonse made him shiver and look around for him.
He listened as the female prattled off about what seemed to be on her mind. The male took in her colors as he tried to place if he had seen her around before, but it didn't feel right. He smiled before he answered. "I thought the air might help me figure out my dreams some more. I just remember flashes of them and well.. They seem like they are leading me somewhere away from here." He cocked his head towards her, "Why are you out here alone?"

Serat looked down a little scared at the male's response...was he a spy for Alphonse. She shifted her eyes trying to think of a good reply that would spare her. "Well...I needed some fresh air...I wanted to see what's out there." She had slipped now it was out that she wanted to leave...or at least had desires to. However, he had said the same thing or at least his dreams had. She looked into his eyes, then down, at his colors and his markings. His shoulders were strong. She took him in and looked back up at him again. Feeling the need to comfort him in some way..."What are your dreams about...of course if I can ask?"

He looked at her, wondering if she would tell Him about the dreams. He shook his head at the thought. "They differ a bit. Some times I am running free with others. Other times, I can see the humans." Lucrial turned back to look at the stars and smiled. "Like the ones in the legends we were told."

She was glad that he was interested in the human stories...they seemed like fairy tales...the only human she had ever known was the alchemist...to think that there were some who may be good...she wondered.
"What would you do if you met the humans, what do you think they could do for you?"
She was different and wasn't sure if meeting another human would be her way out from the alchemist. What if they were just like him? Wanting to control her.

Lucrial looked at her from the corner of his eye. Something was different about her. She didn't have the same attitude as the others. Maybe that is why he opened up about his dreams.
"Meet humans? I really don't know what I would do if I saw another." His heart told him that humans could be different like Ikal were at times. "What if they all are like... him." He lowered his voice at the last part, not wanting it known they were talking about.

Serat looked off to the distance. It was a nice night..the stars were out. She forgot that there was someone there with her as she gazed at to the distance.
"The sky is so bright sometimes." She said out loud. " I like stargazing...it makes me realize how small I am here."
She looked at him in his eyes...and then looked back to to the unknown.
She didn't know what they were talking about...and she didn't thwhy she was here. But...here she was...and this is what she was doing...she moved closer to him...not in a meaningful way...but just to feel the presence of someone else...to feel something besides herself.

He watched as she looked at the sky. At the mention of feeling small, he looked out to the sky himself and realized it did. He had never looked at the stars like that before.
He looked over her shoulder when she stepped next to him and didn't feel as small. "I never looked at the stars before. This is my first time."

Talking to someone not as cold as the Alchemist made Serat feel that there was something more out there, something that was better than the life she was living. She took a deep breath and looked Lucrial in the eyes. "I'm escaping tonight, never to come back to the alchemist, it was nice to meet you, it made me realize there has to be something better out there than the life I've been living." She flashed a smile and took off full speed into the night.

Lucrial stared in shock as she told her plans. "Wait!" he called as she took off. A soft swear under his breath, he took off after her. "You will need help."

Serat looked back in shook he was following her. "Are you crazy?" she yelled back at him. "I know I might get killed but are you sure you want to take that risk as well?" She sped up hoping to give him more time to think about what he was doing. Although she was really impressed at his risk, bravery, and willingness to help her.

He grinned at her as he caught up to her. "Well.. I can't just let you take off without knowing your name for one. Another is that I just can't let you risk your life."
He couldn't believe this mostly light colored female was breaking free. He thought about it himself on those rare occasions he had alone. Lucrial lengthened his stride to catch up. "We can help each other." He glanced back over his shoulder to make sure they weren't being followed.

Serat couldn't admit that she was a little nervous. She tried to block that feeling out or her plan would definately not go through. She turned around to see Lucrial following her! "My name, she said inbetween her breaths...Serat, you want to help eachother?" She was flattered and excited, Not only did she not know this person, but she also wasn't alone in her feelings for leaving the alchemist. "We better travel out of the boundaries fast, we don't know what kind of spells he has on us, or on the boundaries especially I won't say his name for fear of invoking a spell he has cast... thank you for coming with me, she turned her head to hide that she was blushing." She picked up the pace as the fled off into the night.
