When the fire nation and the Earth kingdom go in war, two soldiers meet without knowing the others nations. They become friends, and then soon find out their on different sides. But they still have that 'spark' (Get it fiire xD) between them.

Chao stepped off his ride sighing, his stomach was grumbling loud. he was at a small town somewhere near the earth Kingdom (right) territory. he was glad that his uniform was not with him his basic earth colored clothes made him look like he would be from either of the groups. He headed to where there was a place to eat and tied up his Ostrich Horse then walked into the small building finding a seat and getting a small meal. the room was rather packed and he had the last empty table. the locals eyed him not sure who he was.

Max was still riding her Ostrage horse thing to find her friend, Julie. She couldn't find her. And she finally gave up. Tomorrow she had to stay around the perimeter of the town, for defense, just in case. She was roaming in her soldier uniform, to inform others to move out her way.

He ate quietly keeping his back to the wall. he didnt like being around that many people since he knew that if they found out who he was they could hurt him.

Max turned her ostrage around, and headed for her favorite diner. She parked her ride outside, and walked inside. A few people starred at her uniform, but she just walked to the order stands and started to order her food.

He noticed a girl come in with a uniform on. he turned his eyes to his food eatting alittle faster. She could see that the only table she could sit at would be with the stranger.

She turned around, and looked around the diner. Everyones tables where filled accept for two. One with a fat guy, or a fast eater. 'Might as well go with the fast eater.' she thought. She waited for her food, then took it from the people, and paid them. She walked to the fast eaters table. "Mind if I sit here?" She asked.

he looks at her thinking 'crap why did you pick with me' he nods looking back at his food not really sure what he could say to her. his eyes drifted from his food looking for something on her uniform to show what rank she was.

"Thanks." She said, and pulled the chair out from under the table. She sat, and started to eat, but very slow so she could savor every bite before tomorrow.

he watched her as he ate and finally asked her "what rank are you?" the chatter in the room seemed to keep their conversation private.
